I went here as a kid about 20 years ago and they fed me and took me to school and picked me up. I took a lot of naps I remember. It was a pretty sick deal. They took us to the San Pedro River one time which was super groovy. I hope the people that worked there 20 years ago are doing great in life.

I have been taking my child to Child Time since he was six weeks old. There have been a few incidents that got me fired up but I have found that with the new director, things are MUCH different. She's so friendly, my child loves her and she has made so many positive changes. There have been five different directors since my child has been attending. I've only been happy with two of them - the current director and one other. I'm hoping this one stays!

This place is absolutely terrible! The majority of the teachers are extremely inexperienced and have absolutely zero control of the children. The place is like a zoo. Kids running around the classrooms, doing whatever they want. Doing everything EXCEPT learning. There's no structure or curriculum, no discipline or respect, and no lesson plans... that they actually FOLLOW. There's no balance between education and playtime. The place is dirty, the toys are never where they're suppose to be. That's IF they have toys. The majority of them are broken or missing, or stashed underneath all the shelves (that never gets cleaned). It's completely disgusting under those shelves. It's where toys, dirt, trash and old food go to live. The lazy staff just sweeps it under there to make their classroom APPEAR clean. The irresponsible teachers can never keep tract of the toys OR the children. They have no sense of vigilance, accountability, cleanliness or pride in what they do. The nap time mats are very unsanitary! The sheets hardly ever get washed. The teachers up front allow the sheets to be mixed up, so your child could be sleeping on another child's dirty mat and sheet on any given day. They never follow the regulations when it comes to how far apart the mats should be during nap time. It's a constant health risk. The kids personal items are always getting lost, especially sippy cups. The playgrounds are always dirty, because they don't teach the children how to throw trash away. Plus the teachers are too lazy to pick up all the dirty tissues and cups off the ground, or dump out the playground trash cans. It's horrible. Kids are allowed to run around without their shoes and socks on. The teachers are ALWAY using other kids diapers and wipes whenever one kid runs out. They NEVER let the parents know on time what their child needs more of. They're suppose to keep a record of your child's activities, meals and diaper changes every day, but that hardly ever gets done. They either leave the "My Day" sheet blank, or make up lies for when they actually changed the child's diapers. Multiple times the teachers in the 2yr old class has let the children go for HOURS without changing their diapers. Plus they're suppose to be potty training them, but of course that never gets done. They're supposed to be requesting pull-ups instead of diapers, but they never do! It's absolutely COUNTERPRODUCTIVE to bring your child to this place. The prices are outrageous for what they actually offer, which is nothing except for your kid to be basically babysat all day $180-200 A WEEK! Plus to add insult to injury, the director Megan, is also incredibly INEXPERIENCED. A 29yr old who has no idea what she's doing, most of the women who work there are older than she is. She was only supposed to be the ASSISTANT director (to which she's never done before), but after the old one left, she prematurely accepted that position just because it pays her more money! Disgusting. This place doesn't care about your children, all they care about is your MONEY. It's a corporation that feeds your cash to the people up top, and craps on the lower employees that actually have to take care of the children. This place should have been shut down a long time ago, from the amount of citations they get from State Licensing. I highly recommend that you take your child somewhere else. Anywhere else is better than that place.

Child Time used to be a great place to take your children and remain confident they would be cared for properly and safely... Recently, Not so much. A lot has come to my attention recently, As I have my child enrolled. Most notably though was the lapse in judgement of the director who allowed and directed for a brick to be placed at the front door to prop it open in the morning during child drop off when as contracted and per company policy the door is to remain closed and locked at all times with entry only permitted via entry of your personal entry code and/or office buzzing you in. The door was having issues of not always opening for months and instead of fixing it or having an office worker monitor the door at all times it was left wide open for ANYONE to enter in breach of the contract and corporate policies. Policy also dictates that the children are to be fed according to strict health guidelines and practices. Instead of following those policies daily they are only adhered to during corporate inspection. The children are supposed to receive there food in sanitized Tupperware containers family style then the food transferred to each childs individual plate. Instead the children are fed from ziplock or plastic bags like pigs from a trough. The tuition for this daycare is nearly double anywhere else in town and promises great things, Yet the delivery does not take place. All the best teachers have already left or are currently leaving at an alarming rate. "Mrs Crystal if you ever read this, We miss you dearly". The childcare workers are the reason we have stayed this long, But after my childs current teacher quits which she has already given notice sadly it seems we will have to consider if staying is still worth it. My childs health and safety are foremost in my mind, Thus the reason we paid so much for locked Security doors that only allow keypad access, Great Childcare workers, and a promised quality lunch for my child but sadly what you receive is not as it is advertised. The only upside I can really point out is location near base, And the fact the corporate ALWAYS seems to take complaints seriously as well as seems eager to institute changes/training if and when needed to address breaches in company policy. If only the school here in town were run to company standards, What a great place it could have been .

I do not have children at this facility but work with an outside agency that works with kids from this facility. I have had the displeasure of working with the staff in the front office on several occasions and they are rude and unprofessional to put it in very polite terms. I have been talked down to, treated like an idiot and just overall left each time with a bad taste in my mouth. They do not strive provide any service in any way and act like your wasting their time by simply checking a child in or out. There are many many quality choices in SV and this is not by any means a place I would let keep my child based on the behavior of their front office staff.

Our grandson has been attending Childtime for almost a year. This facility does so much more than just babysitting the children. Developmental activities are incorporated into their program. They also send photos/videos of what the children are doing so parents can observe "from a distance" how their child(ren) is/are progressing, and obviously enjoying themselves in the process.

This place has too many employees leaving. Cannot give the proper care when you don't know who works there day to day. Children do not have a safe stable environment.
