Cheng's Beijing

We ordered takeout from here for Christmas, but unfortunately, the experience wasn't great. They forgot to include the white rice with our order, so we had to go back to pick it up. By the time we got home again, the food was cold, and everyone was starving.Out of everything we ordered, the crab wontons from the Taste of China Sampler were the only thing that tasted delicious. The steamed vegetables were plain and lacked seasoning, while the garlic long green beans, though well-cooked, also tasted bland.The Beef Fried Rice and Beef Chow Mein were just okay. The Lemon Chicken was plain, and the Orange Chicken was decent. The Coconut Shrimp was good but too sweet, and the Sesame Chicken was decent but unexpectedly spicy. I didn't enjoy the sauce on the Vietnamese Beef Bun at all.Overall, a disappointing meal due to both the mix-up and the lackluster flavors.

I went with the eggplant with fried tofu. The eggplant dish included onions, red and green bell peppers, basil, and eggplant. The eggplant was soft. For whatever reason, I run into a lot of soft and gushy eggplant around here at Chinese and Thai restaurants. Whereas I'm used to a bit more crunch and no gushy in LA.Despite a wonderful brown sauce that has a slow burn, there was no flavor with the eggplant. The fried tofu was solid. It was a mix of soaking up the sauce or not. The red and green peppers were crunchy and tasty. I added fried rice.For the appetizer, I went with the spring rolls, which were fried and come with bean sprouts, carrot shreds, mushroom bits, and cabbage. It tasted good, but I wondered if they were made on site or not. My vibe is that they were not.On a positive note, I was able to get chopsticks via the Uber Eats app.They give you a lot of food, for leftovers, and I did like that both cartons are microwave safe.

The best bun rieu. I have not been able to find something comparable since I left Tucson in 2013. I recently visited and it tastes just as it did back then.

I'm sorry but even by Tucson's low standards, this is some very bad Chinese food. I knew it from the smell as soon as I picked up the takeout bag. The fried rice was a sad brown color and had no flavor. The green beans were far too sweet, in a sickly way. Avoid this place.

Had dinner and it was delicious. Our waitress was amazing. The best Chinese food I've had so far. It's a small restaurant but very beautiful on the inside. The food is extremely delicious. The ambience is very welcoming. Thank you so much to the cooks and the waitress and everybody else that made our dinner so perfect. I will definitely be back again

The staff and service was friendly and personable so I hate to do this, but I won't be back. The portion sizes were insultingly small and when the food came out I thought they were bringing out a appetizers. The breading was thick, not much chicken inside of the breaded chicken. Dumpling soup had 5 small dumplings in it and a few pieces of cabbage for 15$. The one redeeming factor is that they have the best, most stuffed crab puffs in town. I'll be missing those while I eat elsewhere.

Always fresh food. The portion sizes are pretty smaller compared to before. Overall alright

I was really craving sizzling rice soup, so I found this place. The flavor was good, my only complaint is that the rice didn't sizzle. My husband got the street noodles, they were great. I will give a solid 4.5 on this one. Prices are good, service was excellent!

Nice little place. Very clean. The broth was very flavorful. I'm curious to try some other menu items!
