This place was off the chain! I had a wonderful time. The ambiance was sexy but casual. I met a friend here for drinks and sat at the bar. Margarita was AWESOME!!! And you can't beat the deal.We shared the trio sampler which came with spinach dip, salsa, queso dip (beef optional but it's a free add on) and chicken strips. It was delicious! However, the salsa is an afterthought and not very good. We also got a plate of chicken strips to share bc we loved them in the trio so much! Our bartender/server Ainsley was a pleasure to work with. She was ON IT. Everything we needed or wanted was quickly addressed and taken care of. She kept a smile on and was really fun.I would come back! Not sure why the ratings are low but the trio and the chicken strips were great!!!!

Chain restaurants are good for a decent meal, decent prices, and consistency. I've frequented Cheddars in Tucson a few times and every visit has been good. Service was always pretty decent. The location can be busy and the parking lot packed, but the waitlist usually goes by quickly. The restaurant can get a little loud inside, but that's to be expected for the size. The croissants are yummy, served warm and dripping with a honey butter sauce. You will lick your fingers. For appetizers, I've tried the cheese curds which are crispy, hot, and cheesy. They can occasionally be a little greasy if not drained all the way before plating. My last visit I tried the trio sampler for my meal and was surprised at the size. The spinach dip was massive with a ton of tortilla chips. The chicken tenders as expected and the queso warm with a little kick.I've enjoyed the chicken pot pie for a meal which was creamy, warm and had a great flaky crust. The country fried steak is a decent selection, maybe not quite as good if you grew up in the south, but it's a solid plate. A friend loves their monte cristo and will go to Cheddars just to enjoy that sandwich. I also enjoy the option of getting a vegetable plate. Sometimes I feel picky, don't know what I want, and that typically accompanies an aversion for meat. The veggie plate lets me get a salad or soup, a baked potato, and some side dishes. I'm a fan of the broccoli cheese casserole and baby carrots. It's kind of like a mini-buffet for myself. It's a nicer chain restaurant, good for a quick date or family meal when you don't want to break the bank and want solid food in a nice atmosphere.

Out running errands today and feeling a bit peckish, so I decided to get take away from Cheddars Scratch Kitchen. I ordered through the app paid and made my way to the curbside pickup. The Monte Cristo sandwich with raspberry jam and broccoli cheese casserole arrived with a smile and I was on my way. The Monte Cristo is a battered deep fried ham and turkey sandwich with a raspberry dipping sauce. The broccoli cheese casserole was very cheesy and mixed with rice. It was good but I think in my mind I was expecting just vegetables and cheese. Very good, inexpensive and easy. There are many lunch specials from $10-$15 that I will be trying. Nice job Cheddars!

I love their complimentary bread. We received really good service here, thanks to Craig. It is actually my first time trying this place, and it did not disappoint. It is quite far from where I live, but it is worth it. The place is kept clean. Their serving portions are large, with a wide selection of food and drinks. Everything we had was really good, and surprisingly, their menu prices are very affordable. I would definitely come back.

Can't come here without getting the "Painkiller" drink! Good atmosphere, wasn't too loud or crowded.. overall lovely dinner!

Located right off Broadway in El Con Mall. There is ample parking, but the way it is set up, narrow stalls...park carefully. Dined in June 28, 2024Ambiance-Nothing particularly standout. Clean. Sat at the bar. 3 starsService-Bartender made me perfect bitters and soda, demontrated interest, made solid food recommendation. Well above average. 4 starsFood-Excellent! Had the New Orleans Pasta (penne/spicy cream sauce, chicken, shrimp, sausage) with a salad. Solid value. Great flavor, didn't leave hungry. Would go back! 4 stars.

It's been a long time since I've been to Cheddar's. I came during the lunch hour :).First Impression: When the Cajun Chicken Bowl arrived at my table, I felt an immediate burst of joy. Imagine the colorful ingredients sitting there like they've been prepped for a photo shoot. The chicken was glistening with seasoning, and the fresh veggies added a nice splash of color. I knew my taste buds were in for a ride, but little did I know just how wild it would get!Interactions:I have to say, I felt like I was entering a Cajun comedy club. The staff brought over my bowl with a grin that hinted, "Oh, you're about to taste the spice of your life." Even the person two tables down gave me a knowing look as if to say, "Hang on for this one." They didn't lie.Food: The first bite had me hooked. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, hitting that magical spot between spicy and smoky. Underneath, the rice was soft but not mushy, and the red beans added that classic Cajun combo feel.Service: The staff really committed to the experience -- they were friendly, quick, and always around without hovering. It was like they'd sensed the exact moment I needed a refill or an extra napkin after trying to look cool but spilling a bit of corn salsa on myself. Props to the team for handling my little mess-ups without a smirk (or at least none I caught).Value: This bowl was definitely worth every penny. It came packed with fresh ingredients, and the portion was large enough to leave me feeling happily full but not overly stuffed. At this price point, it's a solid deal for anyone craving bold flavors without breaking the bank. I may have tried to scrape every last grain of rice out of the bowl -- no shame here!Recommendation: If you like a bit of spice and adventure in your meal, run -- don't walk -- and try this bowl. Whether you're a Cajun connoisseur or just looking for something to wake up your taste buds, the Cajun Chicken Bowl is a must. A fair warning: the flavors will linger, and you might find yourself daydreaming about it the next day (yes, I did).

I brought my elderly parents for lunch on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm. We were greeted and seated promptly. I love the atmosphere. The lighting is dim but there is plenty of lighting that sets a relaxing mood. Another favorite is the large fish tank located near the front entrance. Our service was fantastic and quick. The only complaint is the surprise charges on the bill which I didn't review prior because the waiter pulled up the bill on their company tabs ready to insert card. Also, I was not expecting hidden charges. My dad asked for a plain baked potatoe and they charged a dollar for added bacon. I got a surprise charge for garlic butter on my sirloin steak and an extra charge for bacon, sour cream and cheese on my baked potatoe. I would return but will review my bill prior to paying. P.s. those boiled "southern" green beans were not good AT ALL!! Didn't have the heart to voice my complaints lol

Really enjoyed our food here. The chicken pot pie was the star of the show. It's a really good size, filled with chicken, nice sauce, not too salty, and had a nice, crisp crust top, no bottom crust which I'm fine with. Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant and restrooms were clean.

I ordered the vegetable plate. What I got wasn't excactly what I ordered, but I accepted it and tried to eat it. The salad was covered "American cheese," which is milk and oil. The kernels of corn were canned corn. The rolls were slathered with sugar and honey. The waiter did a good job.I won't return to Cheddar's.
