Had the Lo Mein beef noodles. Not impressed, the noodle's had a sweet taste to them which I do not like and the overall food lacked flavor.

Ordered take out and the food was very quick! Everything was good aside from the Pad Zee Ew, the noodles were stuck together and the sauce hadn't been cooked long enough. The Tom Kah soup was fabulous. We will definitely be giving this place a 2nd chance!

I was been meaning to try Char's for a while now, so it's disappointing to say I was not fully satisfied with my meal! Although the beef Thai curry tasted delicious, the drunken noodles and the kangped phade yang (duck curry) were disappointing. The drunken noodles lacked flavor, were dry, and despite the server mentioning its spiciness, there was no hint of heat. I would suggest ordering it medium spicy! The beef in the Thai curry was chewy, and the duck curry lacked the excitement I was hoping for. On a positive note, we ordered an iced Thai drink that was very delicious! It was not overly sweet, and the tea flavor shine through.The restaurant was packed and got very busy during our Sunday evening visit, with only one server working. She was running around so fast that I felt bad for her, but she was exceptionally sweet and attentive.I still appreciate flavorful Thai food and understand that Char's may have a different and healthier approach to their dishes. Therefore, I would recommend giving them a try!

Just saying the food and service was GREAT is an absolute understatement! The ambiance was also perfect! We came for dinner as a last minute meal because we have never been and this will forever be our new spot! We got the curry, one of the pad dishes, a soup and the Thai tea! Whenever you're in town make sure you to stop by and give your tastebuds an absolute experience.

I've been going to Char's for over 20 years and they're my favorite Thai restaurant. My favorite dishes to order are the Pad Thai Chicken and Panang Curry which I usually get vegetarian but add chicken. They've always had very friendly staff and service has been great. When the ratio of customers get too high, the speed of service can slow down. I also enjoy the atmosphere. They redid much of the interior a few years ago & I like the changes. Two things that didn't change are the big southwest paintings with Buddhist themes added later are cool. The tables are covered in glass and usually have a theme presented by magazine cutouts or photographs.
