So it was OK. Service was slow and adequate. The restaurant doesn't keep napkins out for guests. The previous patron got the wrong order so that caused a delay in me ordering and all. The place looks like an old fast food joint that was turned into the Mexican place it is now. The menudo was just OK. It was a ginormous portion of hominy.

I had an early dinner here a few days ago. I ordered the Mar y Tierra (beef and shrimp) quesadilla ($13.49) and a small tamarindo drink ($1.75). There is a salsa bar with a large number of salsas, plus cucumber slices and pickled carrot slices. Could have used radishes and scallions but not bad. The quesadilla was enormous and tasty.This is a fast-food place, so no points for ambiance. It was quite noisy when I arrived because someone was running a vacuum cleaner or some sort of machine at the time. Also, the cashier had difficulty answering questions about the menu.

This place is the real deal! This is what all the others use to be before price raising & portion cutting. The burritos here are HUGE! My carnitas burro was really good, and so was my friend's steak, egg, potato and cheese. I couldn't believe the size of them! I love Carne asada fries, so that'll be my next visit. I don't mind paying a couple bucks more than other places if I get 3 meals out of it.

I have been a very frequent customer of Charquitas on Prince for over a year. I typically eat their at least once per week. When they first opened, I wrote a glowing review based on their excellent food and their cleanliness. The workers are always friendly and kind. BUT......what a disappointment it has become. Sadly, someone has gotten lazy....or there is new management who just does NOT have the same high level of standards. The last couple of visits I have found the salsa/chip bar to be dirty and filled with OLD stale chips and not-fresh salsa. The interior of the restaurant is no longer clean like it was before. My friend and I ate there on Sunday, July 23rd 2023 and we both commented that the food tasted old and not fresh. My breakfast burrito (letter F on the menu) had what I would describe as old "sour" potatoes (they probably sat out too long). Both of our burritos had tortillas that were not fresh. I'm really saddened by this. The fact that it has not just been a one-time incident is truly a great disappointment. I am not sure I will go back. I hope the owner reads these reviews, because I think they need to be aware that the standards at their restaurant are at best sub-par.It was good while it lasted.

I was introduce to this place by a very good friend of mine after a few white claws at a local bar. At first glance it looks like a typical Burrito shop with flashing lights on the windows.The place is very out dated with chairs and tables from what looks like the 90's. It's well lit with super bright white LED lights to make sure you see what you're eating as well as taking really good photos of the food.The order:I was told by the cashier to get the El bandido as it was her favorite burrito! At 1st bite it had a weird sweet savory taste which got better towards the middle with the help of the green chili Reno, sour cream and Picco de Gallo. The tortilla was super soft and delicious. We also shared a taco which consist of tripa, cabeza, lengua and some greens on top - not a big fan of cabeza but this was really tasty - highly recommend.Overall:For a burrito shop this place takes 1st place in my books. Super friendly service with great recommendations and tasty burritos with delicious ingredients. The price was on point. Will be back(on cheat day).KCYE Don

I posted a review on this site and they won't make it public so I will leave one here. I ordered beef tacos. They were okay but nothing fancy. A few hours after eating I got severely ill, horrible stomach cramps and all that goes with them for the entire night and the next day.That was on 9-7-24. Today is the 10th and I was finally able to sip some vegetable broth without doubling over in pain. I've asked for my money to be refunded and have been totally ignored. Don't eat here unless you need to lose weight fast and in the most horrendous way.

we have ordered few times through the Uber Eats app, this place have no refund policy, and we always have missing items confirmed by the drivers and they will not give you a refund, we like the food in the beginning but this is unacceptable, is stealing pretty much. we will never order from this place

They used to have great service and food when they first opened, we had been regulars since the beginning. In the last few months it's been a struggle to get the food right, to get the pricing right as they seem to over charge wrongly and blame the customer (one taco and an enchilada plate for $54!!???), and to get the customer service right, not to mention one evening more recently our whole family got incredibly sick after eating there. It's a real shame that they couldn't keep it together. Another one bites the dust, wouldn't recommend... any longer unfortunately. They need to either get it together or just close down like all the other food business there before, what a bust and a real disappointment.
