Chamber Music PLUS put on a show called "Lisztian Loves" this past weekend, starring Andre Watts on the piano and Michael York playing the part of Franz Liszt. It was absolutely marvelous! Full house. Standing ovation. Everyone left smiling. This group does five shows each year at the Berger Center for the Performing Arts, which is a great venue -- good sound, excellent sight lines, plenty of free parking. Not only are the shows top notch, but the music really makes these unique shows so wonderful. Writer and cellist Harry Clark, along with pianist Sanda Schuldmann, and various guest stars, bring new understanding to an individual, a place, and a time.We never miss them. And for good reason!
