Festival of the arts & tree lighting. Different live entertainment every half hour. The tuba band was playing when I was there.

Fairly complete plaza with plenty of parking. Best Buy, Walmart, theatre, restaurants, etc. Twice a year they have arts festivals with music, booths, food. The festival this year wasn't quite as good as it's been in the past because of the quality of the art.

The Oro Valley Marketplace is located on the corner of Oracle road (HWY 77) and Tangerine road. The Oracle road entrance is directly across the street from the Catalina State Park and the Tangerine entrance is located across from the Oro Valley Community Hospital. I am usually in this center a few times a week for something. The center is very clean and well maintained. Oro Valley Police has a good presence here and it is a pretty safe place. Living local to the marketplace it is where we go to grocery shop at Walmart, get pet food at Petco, lunch or dinner at one of the restaurants, or catching a movie at Century Theaters. It is also great for sporting goods from Dicks, cell phone needs from Verizon Wireless, electronics from Best Buy, or yogurt from Blue Banana Yogurt (our only yogurt place in the area). The Oro Valley Marketplace has so much to offer. They have an ongoing concert series that has some great talent once a month on a Thursday evening that is free and bring your own chair type of thing. Several arts and crafts shows throughout the year and is also the location of the Oro Valley Christmas tree lighting ceremony in December. Paved walking and biking paths run through the center and they get a lot of use on weather permitting days.

I am absolutely disappointed! Saw Malificient 2 a kids movie and a grandfather was vaping throughout the movie with his grandkids and the parents were there as well! It is a children's movie!!! The movie theatre did not do anything about it. I was told sorry you experienced that. I also shared where he was sitting! Post no vaping signs and protect your customers or no one will go to this movie theatre.

Pretty nice selection of stores- Walmart, World Market, Best Buy, Big Lots, Petco, Red Lobster, In-N-Out. Also has Century Theatres. Nice walking/biking path is adjacent to the shopping center. Spend the afternoon shopping and walking at this nice addition to the Oro Valley shopping scene. It looks like the center is expanding, so check it out soon! All the stores I went in were pretty much spotless, which is always a nice benefit of a shopping center!

Yes Marketplace is clean, we'll maintained and close to us north oro valley residents. My complaint is the selection of stores. It needs a craft store, Chik-fil-a, nordstrom rack, something more appealing than Best Buy and Tuesday Morning. I am thankful for the covered parking at walmart though!

I knew Oro Valley Marketplace would be a hit the minute I heard they were breaking ground, almost 9 years ago. It's so convenient! Walmart, Best Buy, Cost Plus World Market, Tuesday Morning, Petco, Century Theater, olive garden, ect... And, I can see everything (including the hospital) from my neighborhood! For awhile there, we had to go to at least the Foothills Mall area for most of that stuff.

Went to see a movie with my family and there was a huge line for concession and tickets. Only one kiosk was open for tickets and it went down. Multiple people told the staff and no one would come help because concession was too busy so no one could buy tickets. We were already 15 minutes late due to the line being backed up and still no one was helping to fix the kiosk so we left like many other people. Very disappointing

We had gone Sunday evening to see Guardians of the Galaxy. While we were watching the movie my grandson ended up having a seizure. He had just recently started having them. Small and sometimes we don't realize they're happening at first but this one was totally different. It was very violent and then afterwards we could not get him to become conscious for a good 15 minutes. This seizure was very different and new to me . (And very scary on the inside.) As his Aunt was helping me.... (she had never seen her nephew have a seizure before ) .... And Thankfully, the Gentleman next to us asked if he should call 911 and my daughter said yes, I did not get a chance to tell him Thank You for that .. so if you ever happen to read this, Thank You So Very Much ! The Manager and the Staff of the Theater were so so Very Helpful ... They stopped the movie and put the lights on so we could see to help him better .Thank you to the Officers and Paramedics who responded to help even though he still was not conscious it that point it made me feel better knowing they were there to help him. I would also like to Thank Everybody that was in the movie for not getting upset and being so patient with us for the delay in the movie. And after all this, we were in the parking lot getting my grandson in the car ... This Wonderful Manager of the Theatre came up to my daughter asked for our tickets , And told her he was going to refund them for us so we could see the movie at another time. Thank You so Very Much for Thinking of Us like that !!!!

I enjoy going to this theater because it's never packed, and it's much cleaner than other theaters in Tucson. The Foothills mall might have fancy recliners, but it's filthy and looks like you'd catch a disease in there. I'll take boring regular seats in a small theater that is clean any day.

I realize the theater is required to show endless previews but if the movie starts at 1:00, don't bother to show up until 1:30 unless you enjoy boring loud previews and several commercials.
