Swam at the Catalina HS pool for three weeks. Had been swimming at Morris Udall and Edith Ball for months with no problem. Had to switch pools because of summer schedules. The locker room is a joke; very little water in the showers, no soap and standing water all over the floor from lack of drainage. Frankly, disappointed!

We've been here several times. We haven't been lately due to the heater in the pool was broken and originally we were told it would be two weeks as the part was coming from North Carolina. I am going to call today as its been about six weeks to see if the part has been received and installed. When we went over three weeks ago it was not fixed. The pool is a concrete jungle. It's an older pool, possibly 35 to 37 years old. There are a couple stalls in the woman's restroom area but only ONE stall has a door. No curtains or privacy in the shower area. The woman's locker room is very basic (no soap dispensers) but you can definately rinse off there. It seems this pool might be used for lap swimming predominantly. We've only seen one man with his two children there swimming in the past. The swiming or play area is connected to a driving board area and is small. The shallow end appears to be about 4 feet deep. My little girl can just barely be there on her tip toes or has to tread water. There is a metal bleacher under some shading you can sit at. Overall, for my 6 year old, this pool isn't the best for us. Edith Ball or Clements is better. This pool is alot like Udall and for a $1.00 to allow your child to play in the water for an hour or so on a hot day = win!The staff have always been awesome and kind here.
