Catalina Chest Clinic

Ive stayed with this place because I liked the drs that I have seen. My cardiologist thought I had sleep apnea. I said I'm on a cpap machine He said you need to see that dr again. So I called Catalina chest told him what cardiologist said. I get a message back they said was from dr. "Stop useing cpap and the y scheduled an appointment three months out " two months later ofFice calLed and asked if I reaally needed to see dr. I said yes. They said ok and hung up. Days before appointment they canceled my appointment and offered a tentative appointment for June. I said no. I want a firm appointment time like every other dr gives. Unbelievable! Run away from this place

The office in this doctors office is awful! After my visit Dr Adra wanted to schedule me back in 2 months but the office said they couldn't schedule that far in advance but they will call me within 2 weeks and assured me that i would be scheduled first since they couldn't schedule that far in advance. I didn't hear back from them so three weeks after my appointment i kept calling and they kept telling me they would get back to me and didn't. Finally after another 1 1/2 hours on the phone i got them to squeeze me in way to early and on the worse day possible but when i ask them why they keep not doing what they say they will they tell me I'm talking or complaining to the wrong person. I'm going into the next appointment so i can tell Dr Adra personally how incompetent this office is.

They don't return calls. I called on a Wednesday and left a VM for the MA for Dr Kakish. Her VM says she'll return the call within 24 hours. I waited until the following Monday and still never got a returned call. I called the office again that following Monday and they told me they sent her a message to return my call by end of day. Now Tuesday, 24+ hours after, still have not received a returned call.

Been a patient for years. The original doctor that retired was great. Once he retired, it became a nightmare. You were told which doctor to see or told to leave. If you needed a note about the mask because it was proven that you faint in a mask, they refused, saying it's political when there was an actual medical concern that they were happy to ignore. You wait on the office staff and the doctors, but they don't care if you are disabled, have to depend on others to get places, or a caregiver. So you wait a long time for them, but they don't have any patience for their patients. If the doctor doesn't like how you are reacting to their medical treatment, they push you away from their practice as fast as they can. You can take their medication every day, if it doesn't work, they don't want to bother. They don't keep accurate documentation. If you make an appointment months ahead and then end up in the hospital when the appointment is, they will count the cancellation against you. You also get lied to in your face. Don't recommend at all!

I have seen several doctors here, most were ok and seemed to care. It is the staff who is far from nice. I called yesterday and spoke to Dr. Adras medical assisstant (wish I knew her name) she is one of the rudest people I've ever been around. She acted as if I was bothering her and was in a hurry to hang up. I told her I wish I didn't have to call I'am only calling because I'm sick. She is in the medical field and I'm sure was taught about caring and being nice.When I said I need more than the cough meds precribed to me when I saw the doctor on the 10th, she said she would send him a note. I explained I have a fevor, headache and chills. She said she (again) would send a note.In a singsongy voice she said ooookkkay, and hung up on me.

Alot of the bad stuff has been taken care of... When I went there..I. HOH.I motioned to gal at front desk I was HOH..she immediatly gave me a "gotcha " sign. and motioned for me to got to chair on right. Another gal came out who understood when I said "just speak SLOWLY and articulate and I.ll understand..She got it, and passed it up the line to Dr. Locher. In their business they have been deluged with COVID patients.. plus their regular load. I was told they had some changes in staff. The doc had my x-rays and we determined I had low grade emphysema ..but it WAS reversable. They got my Rx updated and I was on my way within 30min of checking in... I didnt tell them until I went to check out I was a retired LRT.. so I know that wasn't a factor

I came in today for a Pulmonary Function Test...it went very well, and my tech was very caring and professional...T. Ellis, (can't remember how to spell his first name) One of the tests I did not want to do, due to heart issues that may have been affected. He completely understood, and did not pressure me to complete it. My first PFT and it was a very good experience. JoAnne Ellis

Dr Adra, Pulminologist, at the Catalina Chest Clinic in Tucson AZ is the WORST Dr. I have ever come across. His office has rescheduled our appt three separate times. We've had to wait for months for all these appts to just get called the day before each one to reschedule for another 6 weeks out. Just got a call today... refusing to honor the third reschedule! The appt is tomorrow!!!! When I asked why... I was lied to, refused any further information and hung up on!!! They will be reported to all the proper avenues! This facility is playing with people's lives!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE PATIENT CARE... DO NOT GO TO THIS DR. IF YOU ALREADY DO... CHANGE NOW! YOU ARE NOT GETTING PROPER MEDICAL ATTENTION!!!!

I agree with the other opinions. Absolutely the worst. Amy Carlson left and that was a tragedy. Impossible to get through by phone and office visits are hurried and prescriptions are not correctly sent to the pharmacy. I would not recommend them to anyone and I have since stopped using this medical office. Just terrible. Stay away.

This is the worst dr's office I have ever seen in all of Tucson. We have been trying to get an appointment since July and have been given the runaround by their staff that they can't get the doctor's records from our referring doctor. When we asked what we should do, the patient scheduler stated that we should go to the ER. We ended up going to the ER after another week and was admitted to the hospital for 2 days. We saw Dr Adra at the hospital and when we tried to schedule for a follow up 10 days later at the request of Dr Adra, we were told they wouldn't see us because we had harassed their staff. Totally don't care about people...too bad, because l hear the doctors are good if you can just get pass their unprofessional and extremely rude "staff"
