It's Disney Day
Disney Day
One of many meals
Dinner yesterday.
Some of the amazing staff members at Casa Adobes. Thank you everyone for helping my mother-in-law with her recovery.
The rooms were big. She also had a standing closet, chairs for us to sit in, a restroom and a dresser. It was easy to let outside light in.
The dining room where the patients can come together for meals. There were some days I wanted to ask if I could have plate ;)
An aerial view of the facility.
The front entrance parking area

They're taking really good care of me. The food is really great. They make a really good chef Salad too. The nurses and CNAs are very sweet. When you have Dr's Appointments, they take care of it. Easier on the patients. I highly recommend Casas Adobes. They all work really hard too take good care of the patients.

My mom has been a resident for 1 year. There are always going to be small complaints but overall it's the best facility she has been in since needing this type of care. The people are nice. The facility is clean. It's not the Taj Mahal but it's not horrible as some of the reviews say.

We had wonderful support and help as a loved one entered CAPARC earlier this week. Special attention was needed and Melissa Redmond, Social Services Director rose to the occasion and made it all happen. She was so very supportive and helped us in so many ways, all in a very professional way. Thank you, Melissa!

My mom. Had hip surgery not full replacement. She is 92 yrs old. Was sent to casas adobes. For rehab. For the most part. Was a pleasant stay. The biggest share of the staff was very friendly caring and attentive. As in any care facility. There is always at least one or two whom could put some effort. Into pleasing their patient or at least being somewhat cordial. I wish I had gotten the name of the one paticular nurse who never even tried to be. Kind or cordial. She mostly worked nights. She never smiled was rude and inconsiderate. Not only to the patients and family but the staff as well. Certainly not a team player. She couldn't be a boost in the moral for the staff. None the less I'm pretty sure she was the one left in charge. Over night she reminded me of Cruella De Ville. She was just plane mean and rude. She wears her ponytail so tight. I think it is putting to much pressure on her brain. No one should be that mean. Especially in a patient base atmosphere career. I'm just saying mine is only one comment. I don't know. But would be surprised if mine was the first. Aside of the one bad apple. I feel my mom was well cared for. The staff was genuine caring ,personable, helpful and considerate. The transportation could use a lil catching up. As we completely miss the first follow up appointment. Due to transpo showing up an hour late. Whatever you do if you have to go to the ER for anything. Know that getting back into the facility can be a bit difficult and timely. Transportation is very time consuming and they don't care that you had to set in the waiting room the entire four hours on a hip that's healing. due to overcrowding. In the er. They insist you return to the facility via medical transport. Even under the advice of the ER dr. Calling the facility explaining the situation. The med transport wait time was another 31/2 hours. Of setting in the er waiting room. We returned at 2am. In early January. When it was freezing outside.

Melissa is a wonderful nurse, even though when I got to Casas Adobes a month ago, it was her 1st month working as a nurse. I thought she had more experience, like years being a nurse because of how good she.

My mother was placed here after a week in the hospital. When she arrived to Casa Adobes, her mobility was reduced from her baseline, but she was able to get out of bed on her own and walk to a chair using a walker. After three weeks there she is now completely immobile because of the lack of care she received. She was left in bed the majority of her stay there and is now too weak to walk. It's clear the physical therapy rehabilitation they provide is subpar. She also told me she was scolded by some of the staff for ringing her call bell too much. It's clear the staff there is uncaring and unprofessional . Very disappointing stay, I would never let a family member stay there again.

Recently stayed for about 3 months post above knee amputation and received the upmost incredible care from cnas Veronica, Anna and Mariana along with all nurses during the weeks while in hall 3, infact if it were not for these girls I would have not eaten most meals due to having a food allergy the kitchen ignored ....instead of finding substitutes I would often go without...but they tried meal after meal....excellent care only continued when I was moved to hall 1 with Kailee especially going above and beyond... its clear these girls genuinely cared for their patients and knew routines, likes and dislikes of the halls while often dealing with multiple people at once. The pt team in the gym was also excellent specifically Steve, Chris, Felicia, Darla and Karina.....being 20+ years younger than the average resident I can say that if your family member is complaining they arent just complaining maybe follow up.. but thank you to Jackie, Dawn, Laurie, Lisa, Donna, Ruby, The Cousins, Tatiana, and too many awesome girls to mention
