Casa Ramirez Mexican Food

Great local restaurant serving Mexican and German Food! Been hoping for a German Restaurant to open up somewhere in the Tucson area and I'm glad to have found Casa Ramirez! The day I went for lunch (day before Thanksgiving) I was expecting it to be busy but to my surprise it wasn't. I was immediately greeted by the owner and seated. I ordered the Jager Schnitzel with spaetzle and two Hoffbrau Larger Beers. While waiting for my meal I looked around and enjoyed the atmosphere. It's a nice mix representing both Mexican and German and nice German music was playing in the background. The food is made fresh so it takes some time to cook and arrive at your table. My Schnitzel was cooked to perfection and the spaetzle was tender and tasty with the Jager sauce on top. The prices for the German food are slightly pricey but well worth the price especially seeing how this is the only place within 80+ miles serving German food. I highly recommend Casa Ramirez for their tasty German Dishes!

Excellent German food served on German time. If you're not in a rush, and want authentic in-house German cuisine, this is the place. They also serve Mexican food which is their main fair and looks great, but we haven't tried that yet. Pleasant atmosphere and light background music. The owner even stopped by our table to ask us about our experience and chatted us up. We're going back soon and bringing our German friends with us!

Can't even comment on the food because we sat there for over an hour and they ran out of food. No one bothered to tell us. One one come say they were checking and disappear. Then another person and finally we left!

Dinner last night was amazing! I had the taco salad with shredded chicken. My wife had nachos. Both were delicious and robust portions. Our server Zoe was delightful, attentive, and really made sure we had a great experience. The owner is a US Army veteran, and I look for veteran owned businesses. Highly recommend

Chile Colorado was terrible. Just a few pieces of meat and fat. Potatoes chunks and a very small portion of rice.

What a wonderful, delicious restaurant, just by chance we stopped in and received not only excellent service, but all authentically made Mexican food that was made on site, fresh tacos, guacamole and chips, salsa, etc.. They not only have Mexican but also German Food, what a unique place. Plan on going back to try the German Food next.

The schnitzel and spaitzl are both really really good. Mexican fod is meh. Only 3 stars for the service, which is awful. Been there 3 times - all 3 times took forever. Hire a professional waitperson (or two), please!!

Service was great! The German dishes and dessert were delicious! Authentic as well! Highly recommend it!

Don't know aboutt the Mexican food but the Jagerschnitzal dinner was great. We will go back. It was as good as any we have ever had. Nice to have an alternative to Mexican food north of Tangerine Rd.
