Some of the best tacos I've ever had amazing salsa bar and some of the hottest habenero salsa on the planet which will make your head sweat but super good. The only knocks was the water didn't taste filtered. Chips and salsa are not offered on the menu which I've never seen at any Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. Last nachos were not offered on the menu. The dessert was amazing to end the dinner. If your visiting or from tucson and you haven't been its a must. Have to have it on your bucket list and if you miss it something is definitely wrong with you. Your missing out on amazing sonaran mexican food. You'll be in tears it's so good could be from the taste could be from the salsa.

I really wanted this place to be good. the place itself is nice but I must say, the tacos are very subpar. I have never had a worse adobada taco. The sit down and order does not match the menu and the wait time for tacos should not be 35 minutes. Overall this was a very lackluster experience consisting of bad tacos, long wait time and overpriced menu. $50 for two people for tacos is absurd.

Casa Asada is fantastic! I had the carne asada and pastor tacos, and they were so good. The salsa bar was awesome with lots of tasty options. The vibe was colorful and lively--it reminded me of Mexico City. The aroma of mesquite and grilled meat made it even better.Big thanks to Marquice, the general manager, for making sure we had everything we needed.Great tacos, great drinks, and a fun atmosphere--I'll definitely be back!

came in with no expectations and left pretty wow-ed! Beware tacos are very simple, but with the unlimited salsa bar that is serve yourself you can build it to your liking. with this along with the Guac that is on the menu there is no need for the typical "chips and salsa" on the menu. HH is great and food is exactly the mexican food you need!!!

I do like this place! Went for a yelp elite event and had an absolutely stellar time! But have gone back since and quite enjoyed it. Great tacos and such, good drinks, great service, lovely atmosphere (despite being on a very busy road). Definitely check it out!

Sonoran Restaurant Week is here Sept 6-15, otherwise likely would not have found this corner cantina off Campbell just up from UA. Several patio tables with fans al fresco under ocatilla rib canopies, and dried chile trees with gorgeous clay lampshades adorn the interior with lively music to match. Lorenzas are a specialty here, toasted mesquite grilled corn tortillas that come as a double though you'll never get them apart less you break apart the crispy cracker floatilla that was defty crafted to convey your tasty morsels. And savor them, they're $5.50 a pop! Oyster Mushroom and Pork Adobo had gooey grilled ends, fresh charred pineapple chunks on latter. I loved the thin cracker crisp texture without the added oil and greasiness, that's a keeper. Oyster was one large mushroom that was too chewy and hard to bite through. A knife would of helped but only spoons and no napkins in our canister. Flagging the waiter we got some napkins but you need 4 to wipe your hands /mouth each time as they are thin and small taco shop ones, probably why they were out at the tables and salsa station. Hadn't tackled the Oyster and he got busy so used my hands and teeth to power through lol. Fresh salsa bar adds yet another layer of fresh zip. My fave was a thin, smooth salty tawny colored salsa and the fresh tomato corn. First Course was my first ever helping of elote off the cob, cast iron pan served, Tajin seasoning salt, Cotija and lime, the perfect beginning to a 1st Sonoran Week for us too.Fresh sweet kernels popped with saltiness of cheese, zest of fresh lime wedge, there was plenty for 2 and we took half home too!Last course Coyota really surprised my hubby how good this new to us dessert was, devouring the caramel/piloncillo filled soft pastry cut into 4 wedges topped with a large ice cream, drizzled with even more caramel. Disliked that it was served as I was still eating my Oyster mushroom lorenza, as I not the hubby ordered the 3 course. It was melting as I was finishing up but hubby was kind enough to save me some! Need to tell waiters to hold up on the dessert so you can actually finish up and enjoy the dessert as it's served.$25 for the trio of courses, a $2.50 savings over normal pricing. You'll save a lil more if choosing beef $6.25-6.50/Lorenza.Hubby enjoyed a $12 Chicharron Especial ($9 HHr darn just missed special pricing by 10 mins) that was super cheesy and beefy and lil oily for my liking.A few hiccups here...Decided against a Bean Taco as noticed the Chicharron had some beans in it. It still came, but taken off the bill but still gave it to us. It was nothing special and not worth $4 but thanks for the free taste! The dessert came midway in my main course and we Never got the Carajillo (Espresso & Licor 43 vanilla liqueur) we ordered $12, a National fave of Mexican thus we would of liked to try despite the landfilling Nespresso shot, vs local roast, but makes econ sense for the machine cost, so will table that haha and also try their agave sweetened NAs, Horchata with house fermented rice, Jamaica & Limonada. Enjoyable Cerveceria, clean ingredients come at a price, a lil steep esp for nearby college students but nice that you can get an ABV drink, bottled imports + Bud $6 but just $12.75 for almost triple, 32oz or $10 @HHR; Hasta Luego CATyC!

The food was good, but they have some areas of improvement. I don't understand why they don't have chips and salsa on the menu. It's low hanging fruit and an opportunity to sell something they already have on hand. They were out of the large Pacificos so I got the Corona Familiar. I thought the brown bottle would provide some protection from the UV skunking that we see on clear Corona bottles. The beer was skunked unfortunately. The food was excellent and the taco portions were a good size. The service started out oddly because I wasn't acknowledged or seating when the restaurant wasn't busy and there were at least three employees just standing around. The place isn't large but has quaint decor. I would definitely eat here again, but they have a few areas for improvement.
