Carson's Power-Vac

I used Chris about 8 years ago on another house and called him up again to clean the ducts in my current home I bought to renovate. The ducts were beyond nasty. About and inch thick of crude as well as a dead mouse! All of that running through my HVAC unit and into the air I'm breathing!It is well worth it to have home clean and inspect the ductwork. Mine was separated in one place and needed to be reconnected which is how the mouse must've found his way in.Anyway it is very inexpensive for what he does and I highly recommend him!

I believe this method of cleaning vents is much safer to your vents. Chris and his crew knew their business, functioned as a well-oiled machine, let me watch and ask my many questions, and were just great to be around. One employee accidentally broke something and Chris replaced it immediately. Customer service person was stellar and answered all my questions. I had ducts and dryer vent cleaned. I will do business with them again and highly recommend them to others.

It was so great meeting Chris and his son and associate last week when the worked in multiple homes in our community! They cleaned my chimney and dryer duct and between the three of them, got it all done in less than an hour! Excellent service and value! I will use them again!!

I had a suspicion that our new (70 year old) house had dirty ducts from the previous owners. Carson's definitely confirmed that! Though our ducts were some of the worst they have seen, they got the job done quickly, quietly and cleaned up any morsels of dust left behind. It's like they were never here nor was the pet hair/dust/allergens. The crew who cleaned our ducts are a family and we enjoyed having them in our home. They were super informative about duct cleaning, gave us all of the details and even changed our filter on our roof. I have horrific allergies, they took the extra time to make sure that everything was extra clean and little to no dust was kicked up in my home. We are so satisfied with this service and will use them again! This service is so affordable for something that you only need done every few years. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

They were scheduled to come between 8:15 and 8:45 in the morning, and we were told that they would call first. Showed up at 8:15 and when I asked if they had called, I was told "Nah, it's the first job of the morning, usually don't call." A little inconvenient, but fine. Asked him for 10 minutes to finish getting ready then.I noticed they weren't wearing masks, so I also asked if they had any masks they could wear. His response: "Well, we got our shots, did you get yours?" I told him that we were vaccinated, but I would still prefer it if they wore masks to enter our home. I was told "Yeah, we got them but you're the first in a long f***ing time to ask. We'll get them, but we hate wearing them." I told him that I was just asking him to be respectful.Came back 5 minutes later to say that they were no longer going to perform the service. When asked why, he said "Because we don't have to wear masks."Instead of having a conversation with me about why I'm requesting that they wear masks (both my parents have Stage IV cancer, and beyond that I'm not comfortable still having unmasked strangers in my home, especially if they're working on air circulation units), he became aggressive, cursed me out, and basically stormed off. You'd think that I asked him to promise me his first-born son.Called the company to discuss it with them, and was told that he was the owner. Christine, who deals with scheduling, was very courteous and professional, though still couldn't understand why we asked them to wear masks.A shame because they seem to have good reviews for their work, but customer service is absolutely atrocious. If you're looking for respectful professionals, then avoid this company at all costs.

Carson's cleaned my HVAC and dryer vents. My home smells much better and my clothes are taking half as long to dry. Thank you!

Buyer beware.I ended up having to repair my home's A/C system for over $1,700 because of the damage caused by Carson's Power Vac.I hired Carson's Power Vac in late June 2021 to blow the dust out of my home's air conditioning ducts. The job took a little over two hours. I learned after the fact that duct cleaning should take roughly "half a day" and involve hand vacuuming each ceiling duct. They only vacuumed one duct that I'm aware of. They never even entered my garage to look at the A/C system itself: The filter, the return box, the coils.The next day, I had to change the A/C filter under the system's A/C coils because the filter was clogged with dust and lint and the system wasn't cooling the house anymore. I had to change out the filter again on June 29th and again on July 2nd because the filters were clogged completely with dust and lint, preventing my A/C system from working properly. I ended up having to buy a reusable filter and then cleaning it daily for weeks. Prior to Carson's Power Vac "cleaning" my air ducts, I would replace the A/C filters in my home once every 30 days, occasionally every 60 days, because the filters just weren't dirty.All this dust and lint also got to my A/C coils, causing them to freeze up at least seven times, like the Rocky Mountains in winter time. Then I would have to open the panel, letting the coils thaw, clogging the drain pipe with debris, which in turn soaked the A/C filter below the coils.And all that freezing and thawing caused a leak in my A/C coils, meaning that at the height of Tucson summer, my home's A/C system couldn't cool the house below 83 degrees, at best. Prior to Carson's Power Vac "cleaning" my home's ducts, the A/C could get my home's interior downright cold regardless of the outside temperature.Including what I paid Carson's Power Vac, from their "cleaning" my ducts to the point when my home's A/C system was working again, I spent over $2,000 in repairs, testing, gas recharge, etc.On a brighter note, I found exceptional A/C businesses, but they don't do duct cleaning:I HIGHLY recommend Baker's Mobile Aire for all things A/C (Except duct cleaning: They don't do it). #520-623-5449. I've used them for years.I also recommend Rite Way Heating, Cooling and Plumbing. More pricey but friendly and competent. I don't believe they do duct cleaning either, but I could be wrong. #520-745-0660. I've used these guys recently and was very pleased with them.

Carson's Power Vac did an excellent job cleaning the duct line in my home. i had an accident involving smoke and soot and his powerful vacuum cleaned it out. when Mr. Carson turned on the heater, there was no debris or smell coming from my HVAC system. the heated air that came into my house was clean--no odor! A flawless job!

This is a service you don't get very often for your house , but when you need it done, you NEED a good company to do it. I had our air conditioning vents cleaned and serviced. This team did it efficiently effectively cleanly, and professionally. They painted vent that looked terrible, to make it look nice in the room. They cleaned up all of the mess that was made from the vents, the insured, my system is sealed properly, and they explain to me what was happening the whole time. This is a company I would highly recommend for any duct cleaning work you may have.

I just had Carson's come out and clean my chimney and ducts. They were an excellent company to work with. They were on time, efficient, and cleaned up after they were done. Prices were reasonable. Chris, his wife, Christy, and Benjy were all friendly, courteous. Highly recommend.
