TL;DR Save your money. You're better off going somewhere else where students are the top priority, and where they don't charge you an arm and a leg just because their program is "accelerated."After my experience here, all I can say is that this school only cares about money and statistically being considered "good." As a student you are just a number to them, whether that number has a dollar sign or a percentage attached to it.Three of my four instructors left within the 8 months that I attended because they couldn't handle the school administrative staff.I paid $10,000 through FedLoan, plus $500 per month the entire time I was at the school for an "accelerated program" that hasn't really gotten me anywhere professionally. Once they knew that I had gotten my first job out of school, they didn't pick up my calls or respond in any way to me. I moved only 3 months after graduation to get married, and needed help with job placement in a new state (which they promise you upon graduation). They never even returned my calls, even just to say they couldn't help me.In addition to this, they left a balance on my account WITHOUT TELLING ME ABOUT IT for six months. I finally got a bill for my "past due" balance that I was completely unaware of, for an additional $1399. They claim to have started sending me notices in October, after the balance was silently sent off to their internal collections. Meanwhile, had I known about it, I could have made arrangements to pay SIX MONTHS AGO, when I graduated.

I really, really liked how nice and personable everyone was. They didn't give me a hard time when I had to rearrange my original appointment; either. Everyone was nice and friendly and honestly, I think they've sold me on returning to school.

I have been in the MA program now for almost 8 months, graduating in May. This campus is perfect for anyone they have something here for you. All of the staff is super helpful and nice. I've been given the pleasure of being able to be taught by the fabulous Mrs. Brandi she is incredibly thorough and a great instructor. Hands on is her motto and she makes sure every student succeeds. Carrington will always have a place in my heart. Thank you for everything y'all have done for me.

The program for MA is inline with what is expected from you on the job, in fact I feel we get more training than the other colleges. The part that was the most helpful was the hands on training in class. The MA instructors are spot on and have high expectations.

This is the worst school!!! At first I loved going to school and learning, then my teacher quit coming ( for an entire semester), after that they fired her and threw us in a class of 28 students....NOT what I signed up for. I signed up for the online (hybrid) program only going to campus 2x a week, easy you would think. NO I wasted gas and time showing up to a class where a teacher doesn't show up and we get thrown into a class that isn't even learning the same curriculum as us. Not to mention the staff is rude and uncooperative. They don't help you out or reach out to you. They lose your items all the time, I have filled out the same check sheet 3 or 4 times because they say they misplaced it. THEN a new teacher showed up finally for my last two semesters. SHE WAS HORRIBLE, let me tell you.... She would sit there and lie straight to your face, once I finally got out of that hell hole of a school I had class mates who were still there tell me how she would tell the class that I wasn't getting hired at my extern site because of my tattoos... which in fact I got hired!!!! She had also threatened to not send me on extern because I had a nose piercing, which I covered until she allowed other students to have their tattoos and piercings show, which is unfair and so I told her I wont be the only student to take my piercing out, so you can have all students follow same rules. Which she found funny which is why she threatened to not sen me to externship! Super unprofessional. Shara Heuer is the worst teacher and at first I thought she was nice, no once she came into the classroom, she thought she ruled the school and was unfair to students she did not like. Now that I am done with this school I can finally walk through my graduation( only going for my family who paid for my college to make them happy) I can tell everyone how horrible of school it is. Oh I almost forgot... I went to my graduation orientation and to sign off on my XRAY EXAM check, which you have to pass 2 100 questions quizzes then sign off and I had passed both and talked to the instructor on the phone and we discussed me coming in and signing the check and when I went in ALL OF A SUDDEN I have to redo the second quiz because they don't have it... talk about unbelievable. I was furious I had a little field day in their lobby with the counselor telling her how unbelievable the school is and its hard to promote a school that gives the run around every day!!! There is no reason to redo so many assignments or fill out a sheet multiple times, this has to be the worst school and staffing I have every dealt with...I thought high school was bad.. CARRINGTON COLLEGE IS HORRIBLE AND TO NEVER BE REFERRED TO BY ANYONE I OR MY FAMILY KNOWS.

Wow, were do I begin? Carrington College TUCSON, AZ is what this post refers to. I cant tell you about any other carrington college but I can explain what it was like for me as a student at carrington college. I had the worst experience you could possibly have. At first I go in after all the harrassing carrington calls i got after explaining i wasn't interested, i finally decided to try carrington out as I needed a school to go to for dental assisting. There is only 1 dental assisting school i found that met my scheduale which was carrington. The enrollment and financial aid staff was very very nice. I had no problems with the staff in that sense. The dean at the school is extremely rude and passive aggressive. Many occasions she answers questions that people ask with a really snotty tone and sarcasm. She makes you feel like your asking a stupid question. All of the other staff is great though. So moving on to my education portion, I looked up a ton of reviews about carrington online and they were all horrible. They all said carrington was all about making money and blah blah blah but i didn't really think to much about it until i realized that IS EXACTLY WHAT THEY CARE ABOUT. Money is number 1 as it is to any buisness. You have to remember they are a business. They say they care but they really dont. They care about you asking your mom, sister, brother, day, uncle, grandpa, friend, even pet if they want to go to carrington. On many occasions in class we sat around for an hour while the teacher showed a student around campus trying to convinece them to come to carrington. Like seriously? Im paying over 15 thousand dollars for a program i technically dont need because note to self to any incoming dental assist you DONT NEED CARRINGTON TO BE A DENTAL ASSISTANT. You can go into an office and apply. You dont leave carrington being registered LOL. please dont think you do. Anyway, so we wasted alot of time showing people around carrington dental class to pursude someone to come there. It was awful, and pissed me off so bad. All the time they push you to offer and refer a friend to carrington. ITS NOT OUR JOB TO GET PEOPLE TO COME TO CARRINGTON STOP ASKING STUDENTS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MARKET YOURSELF! Anyways, our dental programmer left us high and dry as well. It was such a bad experience. I dropped out and will never go back again. This place only wants your money. I urge you to not go here if you do good freaking luck.
