The manager Meg is basically running a scam. They have you sign a one year lease but never tells you as soon as the lease is up you either have to buy your trailer or your rent goes up by double if you are not buying. They send you a letter thirty days before your lease is up letting you know your options or you can move out. This is a older community so I'm not sure how these people expect the elderly to just get up and move. She also gossips to all the residents about each other. She will tell someone if you haven't paid your rent and what you owe. As manager you would think she would be professional but she is far from it. You will loose a lot of money moving into this community.

I have lived here for 7 years. The ads for this community are lies. There is no spa or Jacuzzi. There are only one washer, one dryer and laundry is locked by 4 pm. Pool is locked at 5. Half the lots are vacant and have knee-high weeds. Half the street lights are out. The managers are incapable of maintaining the property. The only exit is extremely dangerous as they have a block wall cutting off the view of traffic/pedestrians.

I lived at Carousel Ranch for 6 years. I don't know what the person that left the 1 star review was talking about. My rent did not go up 1 penny when my lease expired & they didn't threaten to kick me out. I just recently moved out but only because I moved in with my girlfriend. If I hadn't moved in with her I'd still be there. Most of the residents are very neighborly. There's always an exception or 2 but that's to be expected. Overall, very nice people & Tracy keeps the place very well maintained. Tracy, the new park manager is very friendly and courteous. We were always informed with as much time as possible about changes in the park, disruptions to services for repairs etc... I never heard a single resident have a bad word to say about her. If I had a question about my utilities or anything to do with the park she was prompt & clear with a reply. I appreciate that. The rent is scheduled to increase a bit next year but that's the owners, not her. She gave us all at least 4 months notice. I think she's an excellent manager & if not for the new situation I'm enjoying I would probably stay until I need assisted living. Thanks, Tracy. It was a pleasure.
