Carchedi's sales are the highlight of my month. I've been going monthly for 6 months. I kind of don't want to recommend Thom's sales, because I still have a specific list of things I want to find, but I don't want to be greedy. As his team kicks off the sale to the morning crowd, "it's just stuff, be kind." There are so many treasures for everyone to find. The prices are so fair, the best I've ever seen in all my years of thrifting and estate sales. Sundays are half off you can't get a better deal. The ítems for sale come from various estates, it's so well curated. Think the Tucson Museum of Art estate sale but better and monthly!! The people that get there early, place their markers etc. know what they're doing when they get in. You may have to wait a very brief moment for ticket writer but there's someone or multiple people in every room who know what they are doing. And you're never in a position of missing out on something, just keep looking and wait your turn, there's maybe 2 people in front of you. Common sense applies, all these people show up around the same time and will want to leave around the same time, there can be a line to check out just like at a grocery store. There's a 3% fee for card transactions so bring cash or a checkbook and don't complain about supporting small business by having to pay the fee it's better for our local economy too. For all the 1 star reviews i just have to say it makes me like Carchedi and his team even more. They make folks follow the rules and creates a space where the bullies don't win.

They have a little something for everyone! There is so much eye candy. I have found many wonderful treasures that have turned into conversation pieces when we have company. Often I have left a sale thinking there was so much more I could have bought. Tom and his staff are friendly and efficient. I love perusing the website ahead of time looking for things I hope to buy. If you are the kind of person who doesn't mind big crowds of people who love estate sales, have the patience to wait your turn in line to pay and you know how to park your car legally, then you will love a Carchedi Estate Sale.

I found about this group when they had a sale next to the new Mercantile antique mall on Speedway. They have periodic sales on weekends in the adjoining space. Full price on Saturday, half-price (mostly) on Sunday. The man who runs it announces the "rules," (which seem fair and reasonable) to the group in line before they open the doors. In general I have found them to be organized and helpful. I did encounter a ticket writer who was unnecessarily forceful about getting the item I had in my hand written on a ticket before I took two steps away from the area. Her point was fine, it was the manner in which she spoke that was a bit rude. The "hold area" person is a bit surly at times, but you just go with it. Mostly they all seem to be helpful and business-like, but friendly enough. They have helped us get stuff loaded at times, when needed -- but they are busy, and understandably can't provide a constant service to take your purchases to your vehicle. I've gotten some really good deals there, too -- they carry quality stuff!

I feel totally ripped off. I thought I could trust this guy. Instead, Carchedi breached the contract, but not once acknowledged his failure to deliver, let alone take any responsibility for his lack of effort. When we agreed to terms 7/18/2020, he did not bother to tell me he'd be on vacation for most of the month of August. There was supposed to be on-line advertising (due to COVID) through August 2020, but it wasn't posted on his website. I checked daily. There was also "Possible live September sale." Well, maybe he included one or two pieces with other families' valuables. My Uncle's Estate, in its entirety was not advertised. In short, Carchedi did not deliver. So basically, I PAID $4000 to move ALL Uncle's antiques, furniture, paintings, silver, original artwork, wall-to-wall hardbacks, and mid-century bedroom set to Carchedi's warehouse!! Three months later, I'm still waiting. No check. No inventory. No matter. We're going to Small Claims Court. DO NOT TRUST THIS PERSON.

I searched for an honest estate sales person who would keep me informed about the items that were being sold. My mother had expensive jewelry, china, art, and books. Carchedi got a fair price for everything. I was very pleased with the outcome.Jenifer B.

Would love to give ZERO stars but not able to. It has been 10 years since my mother's estate sale was "serviced" by Carchedi and it still haunts me to this day. By no means should anyone use Carchedi to sell their loved ones possessions. I hired Carchedi in March but waited until the fall to have the sale due to AZ heat. Prior to the sale, to be nice, I allowed Carchedi to store numerous unsold items from his previous sales at my mother's house. He therefore received free storage for 6 months. My mother's house was pristine and I had removed all personal things (bathroom items, clothing, etc.) thus leaving only sellable items. Everything was in excellent condition, all sterling silver was polished and the history of the artist was provided for most art pieces. I did a big part of his job. He damaged one sculpture by dragging it across the floor but tried to say it was already damaged. He hung pictures on a stucco wall and improperly repaired the holes with the wrong putty and wrong color. Drapes that I assumed would not be sold, were. The wood floors and carpet were trashed. After the sale I asked to have my mother's house keys returned. Carchedi said that he threw them away! Who does that? I was not surprised at all by other reviewers stating that he was rude and arrogant, I too, experienced that. The biggest ethical issue with Carchedi was that there was no accounting at all of the sale. I had added some of my own items to the sale and incorrectly assumed that when we received an accounting of each item I would be able to deduct those amounts from the total that then was divided between my sister and myself. We had no clue what sold, what didn't sell and what the grand total of the sale was. When I asked him for the accounting he said, "we don't do that". There is a reason he tells family that he doesn't want them at the sale! Lastly, when Carchedi initially came to my mother's house to see her belongings he asked if I wanted to sell her two front porch light fixtures that were sculpted by a well known artist. I said, "sure". I, of course, don't know if the two fixtures sold but I do know they were replaced with two cheap fixtures. Since the drapes were not replaced why would the fixtures be replaced? Therefore, I believe they didn't sell and are either at his house or he took them to put in one of his future estate sales. Beware!

Oh my gosh! Best Estate Sale I've ever been to! There's something for everyone! Antiques, furniture, household, jewelry, books, tools, they have it all!He packs in several estates so it's a fun sale to spend a good amount of time shopping. I appreciated that even though it gets crowded he didn't make us wait to go in so we'd miss out on the good stuff! And there was someone in every room to write up our ticket.Prices were great, boxes provided to carry all our purchases out.So much unusual and unique things! Best sale ever!

Total lack of crowd control. They let too many people in at once, not enough staff to write your tickets up. Today 1 person writing slips up in the back yard, had no sold stickers to put on items and could not care if while you were waiting people took your items.Crowd rude, forceful, taking your items , changing price tags and removing sold signs, I waited in line 20 minutes to put items in the hold area, then waited 25 minutes to check out, only to go back to the hold area to find out someone had taken my items.I guess they believe their items are so wonderfull you can spend all day waiting in line. The owner Tom is pushy , gets angry when you ask questions and needs to stay in the warehouse.Even at 50% off the rugs and other items are overpriced.I will not go back.

When my mom passed I was overwhelmed with her home due to her being somewhat of a hoarder and me being from out of state. Thom came in and assessed the home and pointed me in the right direction where to start. He was very compassionate and understanding. We are very happy with the results of his services.
