I have moved in about a week ago and I will say I really do like it here. I can't believe the apartment is this cheap for this side of town and it's even gated. Other apartments in the area almost go for $700 a month. The location is super nice because it's right near I-10 and it's located close to grocery stores, hospitals, entertainment, etc. I hardly hear the neighboring apartments and if I do hear them it's usually just a cabinet closing, that's about it but other than that it's super quiet and peaceful. It's nicely landscaped here too. I will say I think the wooden porch walls could be touched up or replaced because they do looks old and very worn. And it sucks that the pools aren't heated in the winter time, they should at least heat one of them. I will update more as I continue to live here.UPDATE: I really do like living here. It's a good location and quiet. I had my dishwasher stop working and sent in an online request and someone came immediately the next morning and fixed it. My big complaint is that this is a gated community and while i do like the fact the gates are kept open during the day, but at night they are NEVER closed! I feel like the gates are completely broken and never close. They worked for the first two weeks when I moved in and after that the exiting gate is open 24/7 and the entrance gate is either completely closed, completely open, or half open like in the picture. The gate has been half open for over a week now. It makes the complex look sleezy and not taken care of. What's the point in having gates when they are left completely open during all hours of the night time. Please fix this problem. I took 2 stars off because of this gate issue. We pay to live in a gated complex. I will update later on as I continue to live here and will add stars back if this gate problem is actually fixed.Also I read one of the reviews saying there's always weird people walking around at night and I'm a night owl and I never see anyone just walking around the complex at night.

The staff is very kind and caring. They remember us by name which has a great feel. I feel pretty comfortable here, no complaints at all. They keep it clean and tidy, neighbors aren't loud and it has a beautiful view in the morning!

DO NOT MOVE TO THIS SHIT HOLE. They do not lister to complaints. Not well maintained. You can not back your vehicls into your parking space. They have more excusses than answers. How can they charge you for water & gas, when your apartment is not metered. They charge you for electricity on top of your electric bill from TEP. You can not do anything to your vehicle, but if your vehicel does not run, it will be towed. They will fine you for a variety of things, like a dirty patio. Or something on your patio table that they do not like. They outsource with a company that charges you for water & sewer & gas. The apartment does not have gas. How can they charge you for water & sewer if the apartment is not metered for water. If you do a zero down, they charge you a $36.00 monthly waver fee. The water, sewer & trash is at no charge in the lease. It is a part of monthly lease.

if I could give 0 I would. charging for replacement of carpet, when it was destroyed by their negligence. They had a person who worked maintenance that did NOTHING. They knew he did NOTHING. I had 8 calls in for same issue, never got fixed until he got fired. Water bubbles in walls from upstairs unit. They are greedy. Had a leaking pipe in common area, they charged residents more for water usage. They act all nicely nice but are just greedy and negligent of renters. Then gouge you when you leave.

CONS: Management did not honor the arbitration clauses in my lease when damage was done to my car. Management tried to make it mandatory that all residents to sign an amendment in their lease increasing fees due to a change in waste management (I signed, but they rescinded that). When they do a countertop seals they do not warn surrounding residents. The fumes enter the ventilation system and get into multiple apartments in the building. I was forced to pay rent 2 months after moving out, after paying first and last month's rent and giving notice. PROS: Maintenance is easy to speak with and very responsive. Coin laundry on site was cheap. Multiple pools. Parking enforcement.

Still waiting on a call from corperate not Shilom the Dm for the property. It's pore management when you guys allow people into my apartment with no legal notice.I have contacted the BBB. Everytime I call the office Shilom isn't there or available. In my email I asked for her supervisor to contacted me and no one has! My email to the office got completely disregarded when it came to someone illegally entering my apartment. Which is against the privacy act and my lease!

DO NOT RECOMMEND. If i could do negative stars i would i signed my lease there February 2022. Unfortunately. 8107/6 i believed was the appt i was in and the other one was an acquaintance. She had many dogs n cats so there was no issue with her apt. Me i didn't like pets in my apt so out came the roaches infestation and mice the very first week i moved in. They tried to gaslight me about the horrible wet dog smell once i settled in my apt saying there was no dog on the previous tenants lease. Then couple weeks pass and the previous tenants forgot to change the address for thier monthly " chewy " subscription. Well that's funny no Pets but then i received a pets only package to my door which i returned to sender. The mice were so freaking friendly i constantly heard them at nice chewing picking at the rug. There was a roach i saw every morning i woke up i was completely traumatized. I would cook something go eat then come back to the stove with baby roaches in the hot meal i just cooked. I called the managers made a fuss they gaslit n manipulated me set up shitty sticky traps n for the rest of the months i had to live w the mice and roaches when i decided to leave i left every piece of clothing n furniture bc i was so disgusted n traumatized by the infestation. Literally save your money and mental health do not lease here it's truley disgusting. They're trying to still get thier money from me which im not paying for a roach and mice infestation apt. They've changed management bc I've called cooperate completely chewed his ass out Marcos the manger i seen him downtown lol shit his pants when he saw me. I'll spare you the roach and bug pictures they are really scary and gross.

I lived here for about a year. Other then slow maintenance at times, which they were never slow when it came to my ac or heater going out, it was a quiet nice place to live. Very close to the school which made life very easy. Marcos in the office was always quick to help and was who helped me get my apartment and made my son and I feel very welcome.

Building 13 is infested with mice. I called for a exterminator through their main service and they laid two traps. I had to go to the store myself to buy traps and I caught 7 in just 3 days. the Plumbing in the apartments all have weird smells coming up through the vents. the carpets aren't even installed properly and have portions where it lifts up and you get stabbed by the nails. When You walk on the carpet you walk over weird lumps as well? the stove grates are all at an angle, and you'll find roaches running around your apartment. Definitely not worth the price.
