These guys are pros at recycling. Excellent customer service and fair prices. Busy every visit.

I used to think this place was alright. I went there today and took several items. When the guy handed me the receipt, I noticed they were only paying 6 cents a pound for the steel. I stopped him and said "wait, for that price, just put the stuff back in my truck!" Every other scrap yard is paying 9 cents a pound right now. He told ne they would match other peoples prices. Doesn't matter though. Them trying to pay me that much less than the going rate is a sign of their business practices. Should I have to check the receipt every time? Should I have to look up what the netao markets are at every time before I go there? Isn't it their job to know what the market is at? They may be good for taking cans to them, but as a scrap yard in general, they're absolutley terrible. Pathetic really. If I could give 5 negative stars I would. I will never be back to this cheat you if you're not paying close attention kind of scrap yard again. I suggest noone else make the mistake of going here either. There's plenty of scrap yards within a quarter mile of this one, that aren't looking to short change customers. Companies like this remind me of the people you just want to stay away from in society.

Definitely thought with how many cans I had, 5 massive garbage bags full, that the pay out would be more. I wasn't expecting a lot but my estimate was $15 to $20 maybe but when it was all said and done the payout was a whopping $4.60! I'm not faulting the recycling center, the ease of the whole process was nice and if it had been difficult it wouldn't have been worth it at all but it was quick and simple so it was fine.

Every time we go here the employees are on it! They do a great job making room for whatever you bring in. It's quick too, because they know what their doing. Sometimes, too the eye of people who don't go a lot ....it's possible you may see nothing but a mess. But if you stand around for just a few minutes you'll see everything has its place. We always take in our aluminum after it's stripped/clean. It's great their huge white poster boards are posted so you don't constantly have to ask the prices. Plus, you could take a photo of the prices so next time your curious and getting ready to take a load down of whatever. Look through your phone for their prices. Best of all such an easy place to get in & out of no matter the size of your vehicle.

I've been to many scrap yards in Tucson and this is by far my favorite. They have nice workers and more importantly give me the best prices.

a minute ago-EditThe employees are mean! One employee scolded me on two different occasions. I picked up a few cans laying on site that were dug deep in the sand. No one stopped me and told me I wasn't supposed to do that. I guess they were dropped from other people bringing in their recycle. The middle-aged Caucasian man scolded me at the window and told me that is considered stealing and if I ever did that again I can never come back. He paid me out the $0.61. I felt bad, returned, and gave him back the money (so he got my cans for free). I told him I didn't realize I was doing something wrong. Instead of acknowledging the misunderstanding, he proceeded to scold me again and this time told implied that I did not have common sense and asked why didn't I just start taking all the scrap metal on site? Wow. I couldn't believe it. Who does that - says that, after I already owned up to my mistake AND gave back what he paid me? This is not the first time I have been there and been scolded. I was scolded previously for not separating my aluminum from my metal. He can't seem to say a single nice word to any one. Not a business I will deal with. I will recycle with Recyco, Inc., Arizona Recycles, LLC, or Tucson Iron and Metal. I'm a combat military veteran, not a criminal, and I didn't that he implied I was a thief and had no common sense. Unbelievable. Who says things like that to customers?

Can It Recycling is the place to go sell your aluminum cans in Tucson! They give a fair price and often have coupons--plus if you like and share on Facebook you get a little extra for your cans! Just note that they close at 3:30pm, so be sure to make it there by that time. Good guys, nice people!

Really good people to work with always treat me fair. NOW let's see if by chance an honest person found my money? Sat. I went in and sold a bunch of stuff, Two groups, bottles and plastic. i got forty dollars and I did something I NEVER do, PUT IT AND THE RECEIPT IN MY FRONT PANTS POCKET, NOT MY WALLET. As I approached the truck, I then pulled my phone out of that same pocket and am sure that's when I dropped the $40 because I went directly to the gas station, my next stop, and it was gone. Any chance in the world that an honest person happened to find it? I was so pleased to have gotten that $40 for gas, and then to lose it, OUCH! really hurts. I just moved to Tuscon and on my daily walks I noticed a lot of trash like cans and bottles. I googled and found out that Tuscon doesn't actually have recycling. Even when we put it in our recycle bins-everything goes to the landfills. Anyways I've been picking cans up and I was happy to find this one place that'll take them for money. I called and they gave me the quotes and I took my cans in! It was quick and they were so nice and friendly and even gave me a gold members card :)) they won't give you as much money as cali but I felt good doing my part and I'm glad there's a place here that still cares enough to recycle
