We breed miniature poodles and also have cats. We found Dr. Kiesel, Mary and Justine when we moved to Tucson. As you can imagine, we have to have a vet who is the best, one that is smart, accessible, collaborative and reasonable. Dr. Kiesel is all of these as well as a very nice man. Many is the time I've had a problem and he has sat with me, pulled out books and either done research or showed me things to help me understand. I never cease to be impressed.A routine office exam includes blood pressure as well as an (iPad/iPhone) ekg. This is unheard of to me and the real icing on the cake. His main tech, Justine, has examined many of my puppies. Her calm and thorough demeanor, unflappable, is perfect. She is smart and savvy. His office manager, Mary, who is also a tech, is a hoot. Personable, funny, caring, just a lovely woman.Old fashioned in their caring and pace, everyone and each pet gets full attention. Highly recommended.

This was my first time using this vet because my cat Alize had a cyst on her foot that needed to be removed surgically. I really love this clinic. The vet and the tech was super nice. They treated my cat like a queen and made us feel comfortable. Im so glad that i chose this clinic. I look forward to building a great buisness relationship with them.

(PLEASE READ EVEN IF ITS LONG) IF YOU LOVE YOU FUR BABIES DO NOT BRING THEM HERE!!! it's been a while since it has happened now but I am still very very upset and angry with this place! After what I went through review and I am really questioning on how this place is still going honestly.... I tried doing all I could to get my review seen which hasn't work so here I am now to tell you my experience. I brought in my baby who had suddenly was acting lethargic, very lazy not wanting to play or eat. We could cough anytime I did get him to get excited about something. Our original vet was booked 2 weeks out and I of course didn't want to wait... at this point I realized maybe I just should've waited. called Camino deco pet clinic and they said I could bring him in that day due to him being concerned about my pup. I was at work and had my boyfriend take him in for me right off the bat my boyfriend called to tell me how the guy clearly didn't know what he was doing considering when he got there and called to let them know he was outside with out pup he stated "I already got deuce from you" (deuce is my pups name) which he didn't, my boyfriend was waiting in the car with him still. when my bo finally went to give him or pup the man there ripped the leash from my boyfriend and and didn't ask anything or say much then "it could be two hours the most and we'll give you a call". Well that was at 1 when he was dropped off. While at work I waited and waited for a call for any updates or anything. I got off at four o'clock at that time it's been three hours so I wanted to call sunscreen they didn't seem to call and give any updates or anything. They did not answer my phone call... so I decided I would just head over there. When about five minutes away they finally called back and I stated how I wanted to know if there's any update on deuce considering you stated it's be two hours and it's been longer and havent heard anything. they then proceeded To tell me that deuce would not let them do anything or go near him. I knew that was not righ... deuce is seriously the most loving thing in the world and has been left with vets many of times before and they all have come out telling me how he's a good boy and the sweetest thing also been told how he's "a big teddy bear". So after they told me that I was very frustratEd... after three whole hours of my dog being there you didn't think to call and tell me any of this? You only told me now because I decided to give you a call?? I just said I'll be in 5 and hung up. Now here is where I lost it.... I pulled into the parking lot and what I saw I was hoping was a joke.... Definitely was not, I could see my boy in THE LOBBY by the door in the very corner ALONE! I ran up and I am not kidding you my boy is sitting there crying and shaking with not a damn person in the lobby. Once he saw me he started scratching at the door like crazy (mind you the doors a locked) I called them about 15 damn times no answer.... So I was banging on the damn door like no other. I eventually had to stop because my poor boy was getting More freaked out.... I was close to knocking down that damn door... I have videos and pictures and if you see them you can tell that my boy was terrified.... I have not ever seen him like that and that made me really wanna break that door down. I called my boyfriend to get there now and I was pro going to call the cops. This point they are holding my dog which they had to do something to him to scare him or something. Finally after I don't know how long I see the man come out to the lobby... remember above how I stated they told me how deuce wouldn't let them go ANYWHERE near him... yeah well I watch that man come to the door unlock it and open it... he was a foot away from deuce and deuce didn't do anything but still sit there with him damn ears back.... I told the man this place was a joke and no reason should he have held my dog in the damn lobby for who knows how long without giving me a damn call... and that I was going to be in contact with BBC and all he had to say was "why I didn't make you pay" well sir no you didn't because you can't... and just shut the door on me. I DO NOT GET HOW IN ANY WAY THIS IS OKAY? also like to add very next day I brought my pup to the emergency vet and they also took him back with just them he did FINE. Once again had them telling me how he's such a good boy. So tell me what the hell Camnio Seco Pet clinic did to my damn pup? Also look at all reviews and tell me how the hell this place is still in busines???!????

If you love your pet, don't take them here. Read the rest of the negative reviews because I bet they're all true after the experience I had. I read them but decided to give this place the benefit of the doubt because it's the only vet inside my pet insurance network on the eastside. This vet clinic is absurdly unprofessional and I will not be returning. If I could give negative stars I would.Right off the bat when I called to make my appointment, I was not impressed with the man, whom I presume is the doctor, as I answered his questions. He sounded completely disinterested and arrogant. I had to answer and repeat myself SEVERAL times while talking on the phone with him. When I got to the appointment, the desk lady answered and brought my beloved pet into the clinic. She seemed nice and commented how she has pets similar to mine. After that, it all went downhill. They didn't seem very busy, but it was about an hour before they even saw my dog and called me to ask some more questions about his condition and medication we had given him from a previous vet. Not once during the time my dog was inside did the doctor speak to me at all, although I could hear him talking to the his tech to ask me questions on the phone. I, again, had to repeat myself several times during this interaction. He at one point exclaimed, "They gave him steroids to the ear?!" even though I had just clearly stated 'oral steroids'. After that the tech said they will give me a call back in a few minutes. A half hour went by before I HAD TO CALL THEM to check on my pet, all the while the doctor was sending me several documents to sign about his care and the medicine he was prescribing. I refused to sign those since I hadn't even spoken with the vet let alone talked through different options. My boyfriend and I don't make a lot of money so we always like to have options before proceeding. Never once was I offered one.The thing that HORRIFIED me the most was that they let my dog run around the office unsupervised while there were at least 2 or 3 other dogs inside that I know of. I can't speak to other dogs temperaments, but mine gets defensive around other dogs when he has a leash on. As soon as I heard that, I declined all treatment, paid for the exam and then left. When I went up to the door to take my pet home, there was a little girl there, which I assume is like a daughter or granddaughter of one of the employees. I find it completely unacceptable that not only this vet clinic is letting pets run around freely, but that they are putting that poor girl in possible harm at the same time.

Irresponsible, dangerous and filthy. My 11 week old dog just got attacked by a pit here. It was completely at fault of the staff, this is the most irresponsible and scary thing that I've ever experienced at a vet. We heard the owner of the pit asking the front desk if there were dogs around because he knew his dog was aggressive (he is a responsible dog owner). We were in the private room (where it took 45 minutes to take my dogs temperature) when they left doors open for this pit to get in and attack my puppy. My family has been coming here with our dogs for YEARS and it has recently taken a MASSIVE decline. The place is just unorganized and filthy. I fear that my puppy will get some disease simply because they don't sanitize the rooms properly. There's also a general lack of knowledge, we have a special breed of dog and they gave us so much inaccurate information it makes me uncomfortable knowing they even have a practicing license. After this awful and frankly traumatizing visit we will NEVER EVER support, recommend or acknowledge this business. We're only thankful for the fact that they offered to make sure our puppy wasn't bleeding out before we left.

We cannot thank the doctor and his staff for the personal and compassionate customer service. Our baby is a 14 years old maltipoo and she needed a tumor removed from her lower eye lid. She's home resting and recovering well! Thank you doctor for giving her better quality of life and comfort on her eye! You all are wonderful at what you do!!!

Been here three times and this last visit will be my absolute last. The vet is super unprofessional and laughed at my niece for bringing her cat in who had just been attacked by a dog. He almost wouldn't let us admit our cat because we didn't have a face mask when we came. I get wanting to be cautious about covid 19 but you absolutely made the commitment to animals when you became a vet and that's a commitment you don't seem like you actually want to do. The time before this we heard him yell at one of the ladies in the office for 10 mins. I let that go because I don't know their lives. I however will not let go of the fact that they called us and told us our cat was doing fine but won't take any water on his own yet so they were keeping him over night. Proceed to the next day when my niece was anxious they hadn't called her all day to pick him up so she calls the office and gets the absolute rudest conversation I've heard. The vet didn't know his name or even care to know his name and proceeded to make fun of the name before telling my niece that her cat who was seemingly fine the night before, died. Am I convinced this sociopath who laughed at a crying girl killed our cat? Absolutely. Take your pets somewhere else unless you want them to die in the negligence of this vet.
