Caffe Luce

Stopped in for coffee. Counter service. Super friendly guy. Delicious coffee, reasonably priced. They must sell sandwiches or something here, because it smelled amazing in there... not coffee, it was garlic or something. I'm sure their food is really good too. Comfortable seating. Glad we stopped.

It's been a moment since the last time I was here (2019) and I am glad that I came back. The four of us ordered various versions of the peppermint patti and all of them were very good. The staff were very friendly and funny. I like the Wurlitzer in the corner and had fun explaining to my son how they work. See if you can find the typo in my fourth picture ;)

Loved, loved, loved my experience here! Stopped by in the morning after a train ride and the Dave Sandwich hit the spot! Was thankful they put the Tapatio on the side since I don't tolerate spice well. The Azteca Mocha was delicious -- not too sweet, subtly cinnamony. Thr employees were just so kind -- felt so welcomed after my long trip. I honestly wish I had spent more time enjoying this space!

Cute coffee shop on the corner of Fifth and Congress. Lots of tea and coffee options as well as some pastries.Ambiance is urban-industrial with seating options both upstairs and downstairs. I tried the iced Aztec mocha latte and it was perfectly sweetened with some delicious spices added. Friendly baristas but be prepared for a little wait as they appear to get pretty busy.

My favorite part of this coffee shop is the environment. It has urban chic vibes and the upstairs area that overlooks Congress is one of a kind. Although the furniture is not all that comfortable, the overall vibe and aesthetic is fantastic. Drinks are good. On my most recent visit with my husband and toddler daughter, we got a matcha latte, a white chocolate mocha latte, and a chocolate croissant. My matcha latte was good, although I wished I would have asked if it's sweetened at all--it's not. Not a big deal--just a healthier drink for me! My husband said his white chocolate mocha was the best he's ever had, and the chocolate croissant, while not warmed up, was delicious. My daughter loved it. I think some things could be improved. For example I wish they had 2% milk as an option and when we were there the napkin dispenser was empty. When my husband asked for some napkins it took much longer than it should have. The bathroom was not my favorite--I don't know if the graffiti tags in there are Cafe Luce endorsed or not, but it doesn't go with the rest of the vibe. Overall, though, when in the downtown area, this is a sure bet!

Love this place! Service was quick and super friendly - the almond-milk chai is perfectly delicious and spicy! There are tons of place to sit on each level and decor is comfortably industrial. Will for sure be back again :)

Really cool interior with two stories and ample study space. Electic vibe. Unusual menu offerings as well. I ordered the Aztec mocha latte, decaf, with almond milk and it was really good. However, there's only one barista who is also manning the cash register so you might be waiting a while for your drink. Also, the kitchen was closed when I got here at around 4 PM on a Sunday which was a bummer. I'm not sure when the kitchen closes, but that might be something to keep in mind if you're planning on eating here as well.

Located at the corner of Congress/Fifth Ave which places it across from The Hub and Club Congress. Great, industrial ambiance, with a high-ceilinged main floor and a cozy upstairs resulting in nifty, multiple separated seating areas. Convenient location if working or visiting downtown (but pretty much no street parking if solely coming for coffee here). Drinks encompass all that you might expect from a cafe and come in three typical sizes (12, 16, and 20 oz) and are priced similarly to other coffeehouses. Barrista didn't mention any kind of loyalty/rewards program and we couldn't find any mention on website either, so that might discourage some.

Cute, trendy place! My new go-to is their iced chai, I like how it's spicy and not too sweet. Baristas were all very nice. It's a good place to bring some work and get some stuff done.

Decent menu. Mocha was tasty. Ordered the ham, egg, cheese sandwich. Cook brought it out without ham. When we told him, he yelled at the cashier dude. Not the most professionalism. Sandwich was blah. No flavor.
