Cafe A La Cart

Cafe A La Cart has always been a longtime favorite of ours, but we recently hosted an event here and the staff, food, ambiance, and service just really blew us away. We hosted my sister's bridal shower at Cafe A La Cart this last weekend and it was quite literally the most perfect event space. The long foyer, multiple rooms, spacious main room, dynamic bar, and stunning patio were easy to set up in and loved by our guests. Hanna, the event coordinator was extremely helpful and attentive, as was her staff. The entire Cafe A La Cart team made us feel heard and executed our vision perfectly. The food served was delicious - we had turkey burger sliders, potato wedges and salad - our guests delighted in the food. We also had a "mimosa bar", with several flavored mimosas, as well as tea, lemonade, water and coffee. The bridal shower was an absolute dream, and our guests were beyond impressed. Thank you Mark + staff - we cannot wait to come back!

I know this darling cafe is a darling of the Tucson brunch scene, but I only just tried it for the first time this past weekend. Let me tell you, though: the hype is so real. It's an absolutely charming space, with lots of small rooms that feel cozy and intimate, as well as keep the noise reasonable, even when there are lots of diners in the space. The rooms are lovely, as is the bright back porch with its wall of windows. The ambience is truly delightful! The food and drink fully live up to the tone set by the decor and atmosphere. It's comforting, hearty food with lots of options for every palate. We got green tea and a gingerbread latte, as well as a chorizo breakfast burrito and the birria omelette. The latte was well spiced and not too sweet, which I appreciated; it worked well next to a savory meal. The burrito got bonus points for both its hefty size and the well-mixed filling. I love when you get a bite that has a little of everything in it! The birria omelette was a fabulous, stick-to-your-ribs meal that combined a classic with super local flavors. Ten out of ten, no notes! Despite it being counter service, we felt well looked-after. Servers stopped by regularly to check in! I can't wait to go back!

Got the breakfast burrito which was pretty tasty! I loved that they grilled the burrito giving the tortilla a nice crispy crunch. It is self seating and you will order at the counter with the food being brought out to you. It was very busy the day we went but we were still able to find a seat as they do have quite a few tables

My kind of place! An upbeat, bright and vibrant eating establishment with great food and large portions. I didn't mind standing in line to order and then find a table because the art was beautiful (and for sale). My friend and I had the ginger chicken salad sandwich on an almond croissant with delicious, crunchy French fries and a peanut butter cookie. Every meal that walked by looked amazing. This kind of restaurant is my favorite and judging by the line, which is fast paced, others love it too..

Really cool environment! You order at the counter and then get seated at a table. So the line looks really long from outside, but goes very fast. The food was great - I ordered the Cafe Skillet. Delicious! Would definitely come back here.

I took a friend here that came out of town and they were super busy but they rocked it.We ordered the flank steak salad (huge and delicious) and the Rotchild (braised short ribs sandwich, so good!), salmon burger (very juicy) and the Portobello omelet ( the potatoes are crispy and very flavorful).

Excellent spot. Food and service + atmosphere are GREAT! Will continue to visit, the bakery treats are outstanding too.

Super cute restaurant, so lively. The staff is super friendly and it's so nice to pick a delicious pastry.

I can't wait to go back to this place. It's average pricing comparatively to all of the other downtown brunch places, but I'll also say that this place has larger portions and great quality. There's fresh flowers on the table and a beautiful outside seating area. Great selection of coffee and pastries. Attentive staff.Yum yum yummmmm

Our first time to this cute little cafe in downtown Tucson, it was very charming inside with what looked like a great patio area too. You order at the counter when you go in. She was very friendly and helpful. They brought our coffees out first then our breakfast. The salmon Benedict was delicious, ( my wife shared with me ) I had the cafe Skillet and it was pretty good too. We will definitely be back.
