We had the New York steaks very good and tasty ! Oh yeah the beans I love them almost as much as the steak! Our server was a real sweetheart too!

Been here a couple of times now because it's really good and FUN. We have the good fortune of living only about 15 minutes away and we've passed it many times on Route 79, so recently, we finally tried it and enjoyed it quite a bit. Sure, it's not fine dining, but it doesn't have to be in order to be good.Let's start with the service, because our last visit we had Misty as our server and she was absolutely fantastic! Acknowledged us immediately from a distance, came over to the table shortly after, and from that point forward, the service was just great. She got drinks quickly, had good menu knowledge helped us narrow down our decisions, and just had a warm and friendly personality that really enhanced the experience. And the timing of the food was excellent too. My wife and I both got NY strip and both thought it was really good. Again, this is not a fine dining steakhouse but the quality and taste of the meat was really better than I expected (and my expectations were based on an assumption I shouldn't have made that it wouldn't be that good based solely on its location or ambiance). And for the PRICE? My goodness, it's an incredible value. You get a really good, juicy, tasty steak, choice of potato (I really liked the baked potato), dinner roll, cowboy beans (didn't think I would like them, but LOVED them ultimately), and a salad (not an outstanding salad by any means but it'll do the job, and again, this is all INCLUDED in the more than reasonable price of the meal. And dessert was great - they have both a really good cheesecake and I think a chocolate cake too. I had no probably with the boxed wine either.Big place, sort of a cowboy ambiance, friendly to motorcyclists (I have no opinion either way, just an observation), the bar looked like fun, plenty of stuff to keep you busy if you're dining alone, even.Between the outstanding service delivery by Misty (she could easily do well at a high end restaurant), the delicious steak, and the great value, this is going to become a go-to restaurant for us.

It's a long way out of town and definitely targeted at the local market. But it's a big as a barn and food was pretty good. Nothing fancy basic steakhouse affair. Great service for a big place. Seemed to be a number of regulars. Great Date night as drive required discussions and faith about are we there yet?

This was a great experience. It was our anniversary we were greeted as soon as we walked in the door very place. The server was very nice very funny very engaging and very helpful. I think I like the word very lolWe had appetizers. They came out fast and fresh and hot. I was really craving a bacon cheeseburger. It's delicious cook perfectly bacon was awesome. My husband had the New York. There was absolutely nothing negative about this place. You should try it very reasonably price. I would recommend this.

Best kept secret out here on Hwy. 79. Discovered this place when we moved back to Tucson area (Oracle-SBR) over six years ago. It kinda reminded us of Lil' Abners and an authentic Southwest Bar Restaurant out in the middle of the desert. They had a country western band playing, a variety of characters at the bar, good looking cowboys, () ranchers, truckers, travelers, families, etc. The grilled steaks, fish and food was excellent and fresh. Grandma still runs the place with her family. She runs a tight ship. I'm so glad we went last night as it had been a while. The place was packed and yet we still had good service and attention from our waitress (who is a granddaughter of the owner). Very personalized. Take your jeep or enjoy the nice drive out there. We are happy they are surviving and seem to be doing great despite seeing so many places shutting down these days. Thank you grandma and your family, keeping your establishment a fun place to visit. We will be back more often.

We've driven by here a few times and finally stopped in on a Saturday night. I immediately felt like we were visiting friends, even though we'd never step foot in the place before. The servers were casual and pleasant. There were a couple of large parties visiting but we never felt like an afterthought, even though the large parties had the team moving a bit. It seemed like everyone knew everyone else but we never felt like outsiders. The steak was amazing, which is a good thing since they're a steakhouse. Cooked to perfection, flavor was awesome, I had a great steak. The cowboy beans were very good. There's a decent beer selection and we had the potato wedges for an appetizer and they were very good. The baked potato with the meal was excellent, we brought it home since we had at the potato wedges appetizer. We'll definitely be going back. Highly recommended.

This review is mainly coming from the husband as he is the steak eater. He had the ribeye and would give it an 8 out of 10. He said the baked potatoes were done just right, and the cowboy beans you get as a side were tasty and seasoned well with lots of bacon. Me...well I don't eat steak, so I ended up ordering the combo sampler appetizer and a house salad. The house salad is just your basic salad and they bring a tray of all the dressings they have so you can just choose. The sampler appetizer contained everything fried...mozzarella sticks, zucchini, mushrooms, onion rings. The batter was dark and fried really well. The mozzarella cheese sticks were very tasty. We went on a Sunday evening, and had called ahead about a reservation and were told that we wouldn't need one. The place is huge, and off the beaten path. Plenty of tables, but the waitress was a bit overwhelmed and running like crazy as there ended up being some big parties that came in. However, we still didn't wait too long for anything.Laid back atmosphere, not a 5 star steak house and you need not dress up for a night out here. Very casual, come as you are.

This location is known as being a good steakhouse. I feel bad I would be cautious about using the descriptive term "good". If you're looking for a piece of meat, you're probably good to go. Keep in mind that the quality of meat is mediocre at best. The meat reminds me of food service style meats,, frozen in bulk and large boxes that we use to feed large working crews. They put a char on the meat that gives it an appealing flavor, but the quality of the meat is less than you would yet from a grocery store meat case. Service wise our waitress was juggling numerous balls. She had more tables, and she probably should have, although she was trying to be attentive. This restaurant is in a country setting and has a laid-back appeal about it. We have been here numerous times I would not rate it more than probably three stars at best, principally due to the quality of meat they are using.

Service was top notch. We had a couple beers (very cold) and ordered the half rack of ribs - so tender, so juicy, very generous portion, very happy. I had the catfish, not breaded, which was fresh off the bbq. Sides are also alright - baked potato, salad (bagged) and a roll. We loved the 6 pack of dressings they put on the table. The bbq sauce was tangy but not too. Overall, would definitely be back to a cool hang out restaurant/bar with lots of friendly folks out for a ride, drive, bike or just to eat. Heard they used to have dancing (prepandemic) hopefully it'll be back and we'll be kicking up our heels. Prices for the meals - $18.99 for ribs+sides and $13.99 for the fish. Casual attire, outdoor seating smoking area. Fun in the country
