"This place was honestly just wonderful. I went to a spin and stretch class last night and walked out feeling so refreshed. The spin class was tough but in a good way - it was well cued so you knew what to expect for each phase and the instructor was motivating but not over the top. It was a super approachable workout.Whoever thought of adding a 30 min yoga class as the second half of this is genius. The idea of a slower, super stretchy calming yoga session after an intense ride is so nice. It was exactly the right balance. The staff was all so kind and welcoming too, noticably so. I loved the vibe and the options here - even though it's a bit of a drive, I'm definitely excited to become a regular!"
"Session yoga coins itself as "the power yoga for the people." And I agree! For starters, you'll get greeted at the door with a big smile. The studio is super cozy yet bright. This studio is known for their heated power vinyasa flow classes that are heated (anywhere between 85-90 degrees). I'm a beginner, so I opted for the Yoga Basics class. It's 75 minutes long and very approachableBeginners. It's is listed as a "no heat" class, but it was in fact heated, to my surprise. Angela, led the class with great energy. I'll definitely be back to this studio, although I'd love to see more beginner classes on the schedule, as they offer only one at 8am on Sunday's. Classes are $7 cash or $8 online. I suggest paying online and avoiding the line at check in. Bring plenty of water and a towel!"
"I attempted yoga at a few other studios in town and quickly came to the conclusion that perhaps private lessons suit me better. After doing some research, my fiancé and I picked YC for their emphasis on restorative yoga as well as the option to have private classes. After our first lesson with Tracy, which we enjoyed very much, we continued with Tracy for the duration of our package. So while this review is for the private lesson experience, I can say that the studio is clean and well appointed. YC is a nonprofit studio and funds go towards assisting instructors get their certifications as well as keeping the studio in business. Additionally, they host workshops ranging from posture and balance to stress relief. The location is a bit of a commute for me, but I'd definitely come back for more classes with Tracy and I plan on checking out a workshop or two in the coming months."

I came to Tucson for a few weeks for the holiday, thought I should check out a gym to avoid the extra lbs and found Let's Sweat. It's such a great gym! It has a community feel to it, friendly people, awesome work outs andddd I heard it's a female owned business! I feel like 90% of the classes are spin but most of them have some sort of strength workout built into the end which is nice way to switch it up a bit. It's located on the corner of 6th and 6th. It has a parking lot connected to it and plenty of street parking too. The main wall is basically all windows that light up the room so it feels like you're working out outside but without the sunburn. They leave the two sides doors open so you get air (Covid perk). Highly recommend giving this place a try!

This is my new favorite yoga studio! It's super easy to sign up for a class online! It's about $8 a class and I love that they have evening classes! It's best to arrive early so you can get a good spot to place your mat. Make sure you bring a water bottle and a towel because the classes get hot! They have recommendations on their website in case you've never been to one of their classes! They check you in on their tablet before class and then you're free to go into the room and pick a spot. The instructors play pretty hip music which I love. It's pretty easy to find parking if you go early enough. It's located in between Side Car Bar and Falora!

Well, I've finally gotten off my rear and started working out at a gym several times a week at the ungodly hour of butt-crack of dawn. But I felt like I needed something to balance out the cardio and weights and have a few friends who really like yoga so......Having never done yoga I was half expecting people in dreads that don't wear deodorant but DO wear Birkenstocks. Surprise! The studio was full of people just like me that want a little balance and calmness in their lives.A & I signed up online at the drop in rate for new students joining the beginning yoga class. Super simple online registration, which I really liked. We were greeted warmly when we entered the studio and then walked out the front door and in to the next suite which houses the smaller of the two studios. We met our instructor who explained a few things to us and showed us where to get mats, bolsters and blankets. I really have nothing to compare the yoga experience or teacher to since this was my first time at ANY yoga studio but I liked it! The stretching felt good and modified poses were shown to everyone in case we were unable to do the full pose. The class lasted a little over an hour and was certainly worth the money. I love this location as well since it's close to work and I can easily make a 5:30pm class. We'll be back for sure.....even if the Birkenstock people are there. LOL

NHCC really made it painless to come in and do my renewal. They were very thorough and professional throughout the complete process. Only took a few days to get my application approved.Just wish the State of AZ did not charge so much for the card.

I LOVE this place!! My instructor today was incredibly good at what she does and so helpful in correcting my posture and pulling/pushing me into position. This is the first place I've been to that strictly focuses on yoga. Usually I will take classes at a fitness club or the YMCA, so this was such a wonderful experience. The studio is absolutely beautiful and serene. I am always worried about getting cold but the studio was kept quite warm, which is how I like it. I enjoy the Baptiste style of yoga and I'm very much looking forward to returning. The only downside for me is that it's quite pricey, but since this is my first time in an actual studio, it may be normal.

"A great deal of heathy choices to choice from. I couldn't comprehend the various items they had for sale. Nice friendly staff with plenty of free parking."
"OK - Arizona Power Yoga gets a solid 5 stars....if I could give six I would :)My wife and I have been going there for the past 8 months (or so - can't remember) and yoga has become part of our lifestyle. This is a great studio - it is a warm vinyasa yoga. I remember the first time I went - I was all stressed out from work - you get done and walk out unstressed and feeling good. It was absolutely amazing. It doesn't matter your current fitness level - you do as much as you need to do for you. Nobody thinks more or less of you if you are new and don't know poses, or if you can bend like Gumby (some people may not know who Gumby is.....Google it). Over the course of 8+ monthish, with eating healthy, my fitness level has improved, I have lost 30 lbs and for the first time in over 20+ years my cholesterol is within normal limits. The owners Ron and Anita are just amazingly nice...and ALL OF THE INSTRUCTORS ARE EXCELLENT. A great way to try this place is to go to their 'Happy Hours'. You can drop in and pay $5.00 (plus a couple of dollars if you need a mat) and try it. We started out going to the happy hour once or twice a week and worked up from there as we felt the need for more. Check out their website for the schedule because it does change and certain days have happy hour and certain days don't. If your schedule doesn't allow you to make a happy hour - just show up at another time to try it. A great thing is that there is a wide time period that classes are conducted - even a couple of days at 6:00AM and may days they schedule classes later into the evening (including candlelight classes)."
