"The best flavored and FRESH taco experience in town. Sit down or take out. You cannot go wrong with the chicken or carne asada tacos. Two is plenty for these cooks fill'em up. I have NO clue how the sushi side is... I hear it's just as fresh and good... the place is semi small. Eight 4x seaters in all. Plus two tables outside, and a few bar seats. It can get loud in here for conversations echo in small spaces. Love the energy of the crew. Taco Tuesday is always a very fast paced day.... So expect some delays with seating and food... Imagine that. Cheers and best wishes to my girl CeCe as she's moving... bummer! Do great!!"
"I hate that I love it. I knew I shouldn't go because I'd get hooked. It's just like the sushi from Hermosillo"

"First time here. Busy place, clean, good staff. Enjoyed the food. Wine wasn't bad either for being boxed. Our server was Wijit? She was very helpful and accommodating. We'll definitely be back."
"The food was decent , the place is spotless . Service was friendly and fast . A really good value for the money"
"I went to Sushi Lin three times last week. The worst part? Inconsistent. On the first day, I got a soft shell crab roll, which was fantastic. Service was great. My father in law got an order of the orange chicken, which he said was so good that he went back a second time that week, too. My husband got a few different rolls, and I got the fried rice for my little one. All delicious, though one of the rolls was too spicy my husband said. His option but not an indication of the food quality. Overall, great experience. The second time, I went with a coworker during lunch, and we each got the bento boxes. The skewer was great, and the ginger salad dressing was just the right taste. I was not a fan of the teriyaki chicken or the spicy tuna roll. The chicken was overtone and hard. The third time, we got the chicken fried rice and an order of the szechuan chicken. The fried rice was delicious. The chicken was bland. No flavor but the spice. I give it 4 stars because the good food I had was good. I'd just like to see a bit more consistency. I plan to go back to try more rolls."
"So glad I finally checked out this place, formerly Yoshimatsu. The menu changed slightly (added onigiri/omisubi) and it's now order-at-the-counter service but the ownership and quality are still high. I ordered the kitsune (sweet tofu) udon and furikake onigiri, my friend ordered the seaweed salad, salmon nigiri, and tofu onigiri. I ordered an Asahi to drink but they had just changed the tap so the lady gave me a large Kirin at no extra charge, a very nice gesture. The onigiri are very large and one makes a pretty filling appetizer. I would try the tuna mayo or speciality one next time. The food came out very quickly, the udon hit the spot though I forgot how salty fish broth can be! Almost overpowering but the vegetables and tofu balanced it out. Overall, I would get everything again, just maybe sub the veg broth. They also have cute trinkets and gifts for sale. Maybe add some authentic Japanese music to complete the experience. This is a great spot for authentic Japanese food!"
"Ginza is always the sushi restaurant I suggest when anyone asks for delicious sushi! But it had been a couple years since I had visited and I forgot how incredibly delicious everything is! To start, their miso soup is gluten free and so flavorful and delicious! Their staff is very knowledgeable about what is gluten free and what can be made gluten free. And there are SO many options! They are able to swap real crab instead of the fake crab to make rolls gluten free.Everything as beyond delicious, the staff was so helpful and friendly and the ambiance is pretty and calm.We went early (5:00), no wait. But it was full by 5:30.Can't wait to go back soon!"
"The way this was EXACTLY what I wanted. Today was a day and I did not have it in me to cook. I rarely order from Uber Eats but I had a little extra cash and decided it was worth it to just have an easy night. I wanted noodles. The thick kinda. Udon. I found this place on Yelp, browsed the menu (wish I'd realized I could've just ordered on Yelp cuz there appears to be a fuller menu on here.) I ended up getting the Yaki Udon noodle plate which wasn't too big and just what I needed. Goldilocks ya know? I also got the potstickers which were good but the best part was the sauce provided with them. Not sure what it was but it wasn't super salty. Perfectly sour and sweet. I treated myself with a bit of green tea ice cream for afterwards. I don't know if it's made in the shop but personally not for me."
"My friends and I met here for lunch and had a great time. We tried the tuna rolls, Albuquerque rolls, 3 types of nigiri sushi and the teriyaki chicken plate. Everything tasted great and we all had a great time! Everyone had a beer, wine or cocktail as well. I had a Monkey Brain Freeze which was delicious!"
"Has been a while since I was last here. So consider this an update. 10/02/2023. Ordered the steak lunch hibachi, 5piece sushi lunch that came with a California roll with sides of salad and miso soup. First, I ordered water with lemon because who wants to pay $5 for soft drink? I'm glad water is still free here. Second, the miso soup was quite tasty. Did not seem watered down. Probably the best part of my entire meal. The salad was over dressed. Take a look at the pictures if you don't believe me. The dressing did taste good, but too much! Third, my sushi lunch with Cali roll came out next. 5 pieces of sushi and their version of a Cali roll. The crab was a crab salad. The sushi rice was too moist and was not very pleasant to eat. All of the sushi rice was not very good at all. They did not bring out any wasabi and ginger but asked if I wanted any?!? Isn't that usually standard? At least they couldn't mess up the fish.Lastly, the steak hibachi came out. My coworkers also had the same. The steak tasted like yesterday's cold steak reheated and chopped into a kids bite size portion. The food was heated to that of the inside of a Star Wars Taun-Taun - Luke warm! The tempora vegetables could have been cut in half so you can dip them into the provided tempura sauce. The pieces were also very thick. A huge generous portion of rice. The 2 pieces of gyoza are probably premade store type frozen and reheated. No sauce to dip them into.My coworkers agreed that the food was not up to its past standards. We left a lot of food on our plates. One thing to note is that the prices are very high. Part due to inflation. 2 pieces of sushi will cost you $7.50-$8.50. The lunch meals are around $15 and the sushi rolls go from $10 to $22 depending on the roll. Oh and my coworker had to ask for wasabi and ginger! Why??????I am extremely disappointed in the food here today. Not sure if I will be back anytime soon. I know my coworkers won't be."
"Fantastic quality, portions and presentation. They always help keep carbs to a minimum to keep me on track with my blood sugar, which is a huger help. Always carry interesting and engaging conversations you feel like family here!"
"Sooooooo good!!!I keep coming here for the deep fried California rolls, but I just tried the shrimp tempura, and it's a new favorite!!!My partner got the gyoza, and he said it was "incredibly flavorful, juicy, but perfectly cooked"."

This was a nice surprise, who would have ever thought a Japanese Mexican fusion would work.Well it did and quite nicely . This wan my first dining experience where wasabi and salsa hit the table at the same time . I had adobo tacos and a shrimp tempura roll. Both on point. Will come back!

Pulled Up one time with the homies. They was talking Sushi this sushi that...I got the Sonoran Roll and they got something else.I tried some of theirs and they tried mine. All the sushi was amazing overall. And I've been waiting to go back for more ever since! Dude works out a truck. So, you might be sketchy like idk if I can trust sushi out a truck! But let me tell you this sushi is trustworthy! The wait was like 45 minutes which sucked but the taste and quality made up for it! I recommend calling in your order for pick up if you go! But this spot off Ajo in Tucson, AZ is legit! Check them out!!! Sushi is smacking!

Hard to be chipper/work the Monday after a long holiday but the people were quick to serve us!Ordered - kids yakisoba bento box (rice, orange slices, yakisoba, and edamame)- rainbow roll- mixed tempura- lollipop rollAll the fish was tasty and fresh. Lollipop roll needed a different sauce like maybe creamy/spicy BUT tons of fish in a nearly two inch diameter roll. Tempura was slightly slightly more greasy than I'd like but a lot more came out than expected and the veggie pieces were huge. The yakisoba bento box was plenty of food for a kid's meal.

I don't usually give 5 stars, but I think Sushi Lin deserves it. I ordered The sushi lunch special (Miso Soup + 2 generously portioned sushi rolls) everything was freshly made. I am glad to know they are open 10:30am- 9:00pm I will definitely be ordering take out. Great place to meet with others or for solo diners (sushi bar).

We were big fans of Yoshimatsu so we were hoping Maru Plus was just as good! We went around 8 pm, it was not busy so we were able to order and sit down right away. You order at the counter and then choose a table. The menu seemed similar to Yoshimatsu's with some new things too!I ordered a spicy salmon sushi roll, miso soup (*GLUTEN FREE!!*) and a salmon onigiri. My husband ordered the vegetable udon. Everything was very good! It's semi-rare to find gluten free miso soup at a restaurant, so I was very excited for that. I wish there was a larger miso soup to order. My sushi roll and onigiri were also very tasty. My husband loved his soup! Lots of different vegetables. I want to order this next time (but with rice noodles to make it gluten free), it looked so good!Staff was very friendly and service was prompt.

Absolute great find! Our first time here, we were wondering if we should make a reservation, but we didn't get a chance to...we walked in before 6 pm. We were just lucky to get seated right away. Love the accommodation. Our server was very friendly; since he knew it was our first time, he took his time to give us a little briefing on their menu. It is a small place and they can get really busy, so I would recommend making a reservation. I love the fact that the sushi chefs are Japanese, which makes this place authentic. And we loved everything we had. No complaints here. I love the location, although it was quite a drive for us. This is now one of my favorite Japanese restaurants!

I went with my bf and brother for the first time and it was a great first time. We got there when it just open for dinner service so we were severed quickly. The sushi rolls were great and a reasonable price. You can still sit at a table and a sushi bar too. Inside was quiet, a little dark but still welcoming thanks to the staff. We will come back :)

"Tucson isn't known to have the greatest sushi in the world but this place does a great job of satisfying any sushi craving. They don't have a big menu (I believe 6/7 rolls total) but what they do have, they do well. It's also one of the best 'bang for your buck' values I've found, especially for sushi. It is CASH ONLY, so be aware. I ordered 2 rolls that cost me $12 total and they were huge and filling. Filled up the entire takeaway box. This much sushi at any dine-in spot would easily be $25+. Overall, it's a good southside spot for that sushi craving. Will definitely be back for more. 4/5*"
"The service was great! The sashimi was great according to my brother, but the rolls (tempura and soft shell crab) were rolled a bit loose. Definitely was busy and had good music"
"I had an amazing experience here! Lunch special sushi and nigiri, and a squid dish. Super delicious, super pretty, very clean atmosphere. I felt comfortable and satisfied at the end of the meal."
"Saw some reviews about good udon and that it was in the list for best udon in Tucson so decided to give it a try.Parking lot is small and can't accommodate everyone inside but luckily there was a spot left when we got there.I tried their lunch special udon and California roll for $10. Not only a good price, and a filling meal, but tasty as well. They also provide free miso soup as well.I also tried their rainbow roll, pretty good. And I tried the baked scallop roll. Very tasty and a little spicy .Service was friendly, fast, and efficient.Definitely a good place to try for sushi and udon."
"Sushi is fine, their dinner/lunch surf special is my go to. The Selena hand roll and the spicy tuna are good- zero complaints. The three stars are for the service issues. Every time I go it's like there's zero sense of urgency but tonight was definitely the worst service I've ever had here.Ordered green tea, got regular tea. Had to wait 15 minutes before someone stopped by to even get that corrected.Ordered miso soup, the order wasn't put in. Got that 25 mins later. The sushi order took 35 mins to get and they didn't even drop off the soy sauce/ginger and wasabi. I had to ask for it and was told "that might be a problem because we are all out of clean dishes"For a place with ZERO clean dishes, the staff had zero sense of urgency. None whatsoever. I then heard a vegetarian at the table next to be told that they are "all out of vegetables right now."Yeah. Let all this sink in. I think this is worthy of one star but most of the time it's decent- not excellent, not amazing- but decent."
"2/22/25Ambiance Yogis Grill is a regular Beef Yukasoba fast food stop for me. Today was an off day for service. Missing was their signature Cheerful "Welcome" upon entering. It continued at the counter while placing my order. I ordered Beef Usom Noodles bowl in beef broth for my Wife and Beef Yukasoba and a plain side Tofu "no sauces" for us to share. The tofu arrived decorated in Teriyaki. We ordered dine in and received takeout. I loved my Beef Yukasoba and my wife enjoyed her Usom Noodle Bowl.Observation for my new Resturant friend who works there. There were too many employees behind the counter socializing and cutting it up causing me to repeat my order several times. Typically there are no more than two. The restaurant was not busy. This has always been a friendly fast food restaurant which I thought that greeting was a great way to begin their customer experience, not today."
"Food is delicious, served hot and promptly. I have noticed since my first time visiting Bloom that portion size and amount of protein has decreased in size and amount. Place is always clean and the staff are friendly and helpful."
"Whenever people ask for sushi recommendations in town, I add AJs to the list. Yuki is my guy! They can get very busy, but their sushi is fresh and reasonably priced, especially during happy hour (which unfortunately isn't in effect during covid). I love getting tuna and salmon sashimi. They also have daily specials rolls. I often buy fish by the pound from here to have DIY sushi at home. If friends ask where they can buy fish for at home sushi, I tell them to go here. Yuki and the staff are wonderful."
"Love coming here & stacking sushi plates. The food is always good and prices are always right."
"I have been wanting to try this place for a couple weeks, and since it is 3 minutes from where I work, yesterday was the day. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and I decided to sit at the bar. The staff is super friendly, and there is ample seating. I met Sam, the ownerand his lovely wife, and it is clear just from talking with him, there is GREAT pride in every thing that is prepared. It was suggested I try the Naufrago roll, and I asked for it to be a bit spicy. I was expecting a typical "roll"....but what I got was visually extraordinary, and a LOT of food. The flavor of the roll was such a perfect combination of flavors, I just stopped chewing and let my taste buds enjoy. The roll also comes with imitation crab meat, and ceviche on the side. Truth be told I have not tried ceviche in 9 years after a bad experience. Until last night!! I smelled the ceviche on my plate and the aroma was amazing! Hands down some of the BEST ceviche I have ever had The seasoning allowed the flavors to compliment one another without any one overpowering, and it was so fresh!. The immigration crab meat was excellent, and also prepared from scratch. Sam told me everything is prepared from scratch, and it shows. I ended up calling a co worked to meet me there and help me finish my meal. She LOVED it !! We each ordered a Naufrago roll to go!I can not wait to go back and explore more of the extensive menu! Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed. Family owned , and heart and soul put in every dish."
"Sushi rolls on point Excellent service Located in a small shopping mall but totally worth the visit"
"I decided on sushi for lunch. Was in a different part of town so I Yelp'ed it. This place popped up with good reviews.I ordered the deluxe Bento box. The tempura was hot and crisp. The soup was great too. The sushi and sashimi was so fresh. This may be the best fish I've had in Tucson. The service was quick and responsive. Took my order quickly and food arrived quickly too. They dropped off my check before I was finished so I didn't have to flag them down later. When I am back in this part of town, I will definitely be back. You should try it too."
"I've been passing by this place for months and never really had the means to stop by. We finally ordered from there last night and I was very impressed. Flavors of everything was amazing and different than traditional sushi. The soy sauce had to have been house made because it was soo good! I would definitely come back again. Only tip I'd give to to call your order in advance I waited for about 30 min to get my food but other than that AMAZING 10/10!"
"So many rolls, so little time. Found this place nearby my house and threw it out as a place to celebrate my neices birthday. It's really close to our houses, epic happy hour pricing, and pretty decent sushi overall. We ordered sashimi chefs selection and spicy tuna roll, which might have been mistaken for a spicy California roll. Either way, it was still good for the prices. Decent portions for the chicken teriyaki meal. Also, decent service, but it seemed like they were group servicing as we had to tell 2 different servers what our drink orders were. Would come back for sure!"
"Went to this buffet for lunch this past week. Had high hopes that it would be really good - not so much ! Hopes were dashed right away when we arrived ! Let's run down the specifics. When we arrived, they told me the cost, gave them a credit card - card disappear from sight ! Where's my card ? Went from front desk to server (charged) then to wrong table ! Had to go searching it out . . . Not a good start. Browsed the food - hmmmm - some looked good, some not so much, a lot smelled just plain bad ! Everything was very greasy - chicken dishes, vegetables, side dishes and other dishes (not sure what they were). Fried rice was very bland. Some dishes were barely edible - very disappointing ! Macaroons from the dessert table were not bad ! Prices would not be bad at $17/person, if food was good, but not paying anything for this ! Service was very poor also - had to ask for silverware, refills on drinks . . . Definitely, not recommending, or going back to this place !"
"Really good and quick lunch spot when you are looking for something in the neighborhood. Service has been good every time I have come in and I can always find good options that are vegetarian."
"Sushi was delish, and they are super friendly here! Had a coyote, a t-Rex and a couple mulitas. They were all delicious! We live too far away, and the cheese wasn't melty when we got home, but that's the only downside about the location for us."
"Love this sushi spot! It's my go to whenever I get the craving! Super fast and friendly service. The sushi is always top tier, I've never had an order I didn't like. I usually take it to go, but I have eaten in the restaurant before and it was a pleasant experience."
"They are pretty good, but lately the food hasn't been as tender. I think their portion side is wonderful and the shrimp is always tender but the chicken has been a little tough. Such a nice place to get to go from!!!! The veggies are always tender and delicious with a fair price for their food! Eggrolls are yummy as well!"
"love this place! i recommend it to all my friends. i bring my family here all the time. my favorite is guamuchiljto sushi and their birria tacos!"
"This place is fantastic. It's my go-to sushi place in Tucson. We usually get the Santiago or the Diamondback roll (they're off-menu) or the Crazy Boy /Crazy Girl. The rolls are a really great value and I love that each piece is small enough to actually fit in your mouth. Those gigantic oversized roll pieces that you have to bite in half to eat and that come apart are the worst! Our group also ordered the ramen (off menu) and teriyaki bento box. Both got rave reviews.I've eaten here at least a dozen times in the last 2 years and every single time the quality has been great and the fish has been really fresh. I've never had an issue with their service. Waiters don't come to your table constantly but if you need them, they're usually available immediately or after a short wait. One of the waiters I've had was not super friendly but not once have I experienced what I'd call rudeness. Sometimes perceived rudeness is just a cultural difference or a response to customer behavior or even someone just having a really bad day like we all do!The décor of this place always makes me laugh because I'm not sure if it used to be a sports bar and the new owners just adopted the same aesthetic and add a couple of Asian items to the place or if the owners just love sports and decided to ignore conventional sushi resto décor but I can appreciate both those options lol What's important is that the place is clean and smells good."
"Different menu now newer look Inside. Food is good especially the orange chicken and Mongolian beef. The lunch special only comes with 2 crab puffs. Price was right for lunch."
"Sushi-Kito is such an interesting Mexican sushi place, and one of the few we have in Tucson. Most of the rolls have the same "base" of shrimp+cream cheese+cucumber but with different toppings. Being a huge mango fan, I really liked the tajin mango roll. Similarly, the tuna mango was tasty too it's like having tuna ceviche on top of the roll. They may seem a little pricey but for the amount of food that you get it just seems fair. If you're looking for rolls with different fish inside, this is not the place. If you're looking for rolls that have seaweed, this is also not the place for you. However, if you want to try something new-ish and creative, and you want to feed your curiosity on what Mexican sushi is then def check out Sushi-Kito. It's in the Southside so knowing to say simple phrases in Spanish while ordering helps."
