"We just had another GREAT Tucson steak dinner here! Mike was our server and was simply the best. NY strip was cooked to perfection They have horseradish in two separate intensities if that's your thing Be sure to order the mud pie!Note to manager. Please consider signage saying "Users of electronics MUST wear headphones to not distract other diners." There was a clueless family whose child was watching an iPad with sound on. Rude but can be managed with assertive action. Thanks!"
"I was at the Apple Store handling some repairs on my AirPod Max. Wanted a good steak and I came here for the ribeye Cajun style. It was awesome, perfectly rare, totally tender and deliciously seasoned. I got the deviled eggs and they had pieces of bacon and pepper in them and they were amazing as well a nice whiskey to wash it down and I had an amazing meal. It was totally worth what I paid for it."

"The Sirloin Steaks were the Best tasting we have had in a long time. The meals are always prepared to perfection, the staff is always friendly and efficient, I have to rate this Steakhouse as the best in Tucson. It is quite apparent that they are committed to to Excellence without Exception, they consistently deliver this type of Dining experience."
"The good - the pistachio crusted salmon was excellent as usual as was my daughter's side of Mac and cheese and the twice baked potatoes. However the steaks were each cooked at least one level below what had been requested (manager did offer to take it back and fix). Also we had stated on the reservation it was my daughter's birthday and were asked when we were seated if we were celebrating an occasion and we again said it was her birthday. At previous celebrations there was a free dessert for the birthday person but not tonight - just the bill - so not sure if that's changed."
"We came here on a Saturday night at this place was hoping! You can smell the delicious BBQ from the parking lot and know you're in for something good! We previously had called to get reservations, but since we only had a party of 4, reservations were not an option. (They require a party size of 6 or more for a reservation.) They quoted us a 45 minute wait, but after about 20 minutes we got the text that our table was ready! We got seated in Dorian's section and he had the best recommendations creating a fantastic experience! We had the burnt ends and the baseball steak served with the hot stone! It was all so good! We will definitely be back the next time we are visiting parents in the Casa Grande area! Hope we end up in Dorian's section again, too! Cheers!"
"Very good falling off the bone ribs. Just what I have been wanting. Half an order was plentiful. Sweet potato and veggies the best. Happy service. Lots of good food!Yum"
"Affordable, great food and the staff were so friendly. I was glad to find this gem. Definitely worth it!"
"Let me get to the principal point! Recommend: Boy oh BOY do I!!Visited this restaurant twice in as little as a month, and traveled almost 45 minutes to get here. This restaurant is pricey, but I will note, you absolutely get EVERY dollar's worth as the food in ravishingly delectable, full plates no matter what you order and cooked to absolute perfection. Their customer service is beyond reproach, the owner is always walking about and the decorations throughout including the restrooms are impeccably unique to the southwest theme and charming particular points of interest like the saddle in the middle of the room. This restaurant exemplifies professionalism, remarkable taste and welcoming ambiance to an amazing degree. This has become, one of my TOP THREE restaurants in the Tucson area. You will not be disappointed!"
"This place is truly one of a kind. And it's Important to know what to expect before you go: writing all over the walls, like everywhere! License plates from across the country strung up on the ceiling. A casual and regulars heavy type of vibe. A gravel parking lot. An outdoor grill. Indoor and outdoor seating with live music offered in both settings. Delicious food, that's priced on the slightly higher end, in my opinion, but worth it. The first time I came here, we had a terrible experience. After ordering our food, the server came back and said they were all out of sirloins, which is what everyone in our party ordered. We left without eating anything and didn't return for about 5 or 6 years. We recently moved really close and decided to give it another shot as it always seems crowded. We've been a few times now and they've definitely made up for our initial bad impression. I typically go with the sirloin and it's been seasoned and cooked perfectly. It comes with a simple house salad and unlimited beans, garlic toast, and salsa. All is so yummy! Service has been friendly and accommodating. I know we will be back!"

Positives first: You walk into the restaurant smelling a wonderful smokey barbecue aroma. The staff is friendly and obliging. You are seated with alacrity. Water comes quickly, but it is tap water, not filtered at all. They will provide lemon to kill the taste. The ribs were fall-off- the-bone tender but definitely needed the sauce and the New York Steak was cooked as requested but had no flavor. If you ask for it, steak sauce is provided. The rolls are 2 in x 3 in and one per person with one foiled pat of butter. The dinner prices are pretty high for how miserly the sides are, but lunches are under $15. Although the web advertised surf n turf, it is not on the menu. All in all, go to the Texas Roadhouse for a selection of bread, better steaks and better dessert variety.

First, I'm a Tucson Native and have know about Daisy Mae's for awhile, even been there before and the food was delicious. However, I went there on the 26th of December to celebrate my daughters birthday and I left perplexed and shocked.I ordered a prickly pear margarita to start. I got what tasted like a normal margarita, I asked about it and was told, yeah... that's a prickly pear. I've had several prickly pear margaritas and if that was prickly pear - it was unrecognizable. I asked for an amarreto sour instead. That turned out ok. We all ordered and the majority of food ordered was the sirloin for 31.00 each. There was two orders of 1/2 rack of ribs and 1/2 chicken. Both of the 1/2 orders came with an ultra spicy BBQ sauce that no one liked. One sirloin came out looking like it was bearly a sirloin... it was so small and scraggly that Outback wouldn't have served it. Many people in our party had to use a ton of A1 sauce as the steak had no flavor, we could taste the mesquite, but barely. The salads were just basic a ring of red onion, one tomato, and two slices of cucumber on a huge bed of lettuce. We asked for beans and got a small bowl for 7 people. The best things were the potatoes and bread. We also asked for salsa, but never go it. Our daughter did get her complimentary ice cream sundae and said it was good!We would have complained to the manager (I did let the waiter know how crappy the food was, he said he would tell his manager, but we never saw a manager), but the service was so slow and absent that we just wanted to leave. While our waiter was nice, it wasn't hopping with customers, and we had to wait multiple times for water refill. Our check did come out with out the two drinks being charged, but they tacked on a 20% gratuity for our party of 7, which I knew about. At the end of the night, I paid almost 300.00 for crappy food and subpar service. I will no longer recommend Daisy Mae's to anyone, nor will I go there again. I could have honestly gone to Outback Steakhouse, gotten better food and paid less... same with El Corral too.

Made a reservation inside for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner with my sweet bride. Usually, we sit outside in the courtyard/outdoor patio that offers phenomenal views of the of the Catalinas. While the outside seating is always comfortable and has a great vibe of its own, indoor seating is certainly more formal, but nowhere near stuffy. I would call it a big step above casual but certainly with an eclectic and inviting feel for sure. Indoor seating: 10 stars. Service: 10 starts and this was a no-brainer as Michelle was truly provided all-star service and hustled to make sure we were completely happy. Plus, she never stopped smiling and her friendliness is absolutely contagious. Cuisine: 10 out of 10 stars again, just on the merit of the world-class Crab Cakes alone. Keep in mind we're from the Pacific NW and we know what Crab Cakes should taste like. These were the BEST WE HAVE EVER HAD; light, fresh and fluffy in the inside with perfect taste and texture. The outside was a heavenly created crunch that was delicate and delicious. The manager (Pedro) came by and could see our delight and explained the crab cakes and the tartar sauce is NATUALLY MADE IN HOUSE and is certainly one of their specialties. It's always nice when the manager checks in to make sure we are content; what a great touch. The Caesar salad was fresh, crispy and prepared to perfection as was the baked potato and sautéed mushrooms. The full bar needs no explanation...they have it all. No doubt we will be back very soon!

Passing through town, we thought to give this place a try. Reasonable prices for reasonable portions and ample choices. Good sized steaks with good marbling. I thought mine was tasty but my spouse was slightly under impressed. The baked potato tasted grainy and like it was microwaved. I also got a pasta side dish which was nice. I wish I would have gotten the coleslaw because that was a standout side. It was crispy and tangy without being made with too much vinegar or too much mayo. The staff know how to attend to your needs. Service was quick from seating to ordering and food delivery, and the drinks kept on coming. They've got a good beer selection...and the beers come big. Overall, we felt this was a great experience for Casa Grande. I have to vote the place down, though, because out of the four of us, I was the only one who thought it was a good meal :( They're in a good area and I hope they do well.

Texas Roadhouse on Wilmot, can I just say WOW. Amazing service from Nicholas!! He was very attentive and informative and always made sure we were taken care of. Actually the best service I have ever had recently anywhere. The margaritas were on point, so delicious. Price was good for the amount you get! Fried pickles were everything. And most of all the STEAK wow!!! Best steak I have ever had. Baked potato WOW. Green beans and corn? SHEESH. Anniversary dinner was a success, we couldn't have picked a better spot. This was personally my first time at Texas Roadhouse and we will be coming back. Next week, same time? Just kidding but for real. We will be back Texas Roadhouse, coming for you guys. Also loved the music and the overall vibe of the place, actually obsessed. If I could could give them 12 stars I would.

Cowboy western vibes are always on point at Hifalutin. We love to take out of town guests here because of the decor! The blue corn muffins that they serve to every table are delicious and a unique touch! This most recent visit my husband had the 10oz prime rib with basil mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. He loved the meat and mashed potatoes but felt like the mixed veggies were hard and not cooked enough. I had the steak fajitas with flour tortillas. The fajita meat had spice to it but the lemons they served with it helped balance that out. It was a huge portion that tasted great as leftovers!

"While staying at Casino Del Sol for a conference, we tried PY Steakhouse for dinner. Despite being near a loud area, the restaurant isn't very noisy. The ambiance is very nice - low lights, linen tablecloths, and comfy booths. We were greeted promptly and offered a choice of drink. Then came fresh bread and gruyère breadsticks. The bread had a crusty outside and soft inside that you could slather with butter and salt. The breadsticks had a nice crisp to them and the cheese flavor was definitely noticeable. We were given an amuse bouche of raw tuna on a crisp cracker. I'm not a huge raw tuna fan, but tried a bite and the flavor was mild and fresh. We selected the NY strip, ribeye special, with brussel sprouts and splitting a baked potato. Shortly before our meal arrived, someone came to char a sprig of rosemary and snip little bits into a melted ramekin of butter and beef tallow. Our steaks arrived cooked correctly with a nice sear. We both enjoyed the flavor of the beef and tried some of the infused butter. The staff sliced the potato in half serving each of us one half in a dish with our own plate of toppings - that was very nice of them. I love a good baked potato and this one was cooked nicely and made better with butter and sour cream. The sprouts were roasted beautifully and had no bitterness. They were served with chunks of Tasso ham, roasted pecans in a not overly sweet glaze. It was definitely a hit.We were brought a small caramel truffle each and it was a delicious piece of candy. The chocolate had a nice snap and the caramel was thin and had the right balance of sweet and salt. I would have bought an entire box. We were stuffed but ordered a chocolate lava cake to go. It was packed up along with our leftovers and our server brought over a small coffee cake as an extra treat for the next morning. The ambiance was lovely, the food was tasty and as expected from a nice steakhouse, but the service was just wonderful. All of the staff were friendly, efficient, and wanted to make sure we had a fabulous meal."
"It is a charming place that has delightfully delectable food and it's reasonably priced. First came the best warm, crispy tortilla chips with red sauce to dip. They were so perfect, we were really looking forward to the food. Chile relleno plate was superb. Difficult to decide if the refried beans or chile rellenos are more delicious. Yes, the refried beans were that good. I go to a restaurant for the FOOD, but this place has very nice servers and comfortable decor. Friend got a chicken salad(!) that she said was much larger than it looked and filled with chicken and avocado. Sister got the chile relleno/cheese enchilada plate. We found the enchilada sauce a bit smokier than we're used to. Margarita pie for dessert."
"There is a problem when the bread is the best part of your dinner at a steakhouse. I ordered for pick up and many things were wrong. The caesar salad did not come with dressing or croutons. The mashed potatoes were bland when they used to come with butter and flavor. The steak was medium-well instead of medium. The bread was the best part which is unfortunate because I used to love going to LongHorn Steakhouse. I hope this is a one off bad experience."
"So our visit to the Bistro was very 50-50. The ambience was nice and the servers were very kind. My French onion soup was delicious but my fish tacos were very bad. It had zero seasoning, not even salt. The fish was fresh I could tell it was fresh fish - but it tasted awful and so bland. The veggies were the same- zero flavor. The other thing that was a disappointment was the bathrooms did not have a changing table so I had to change my son in the car. You would think going into 2025 all restaurants would have at least one Koala Kare changing station. I would only want to come back for the French onion soup since it is hard to find good French onion soup."
"Decor was good. Food above average. Unfortunately server spilled our tray of alcoholic beverages and my husband got quite wet. Server was VERY apologetic."
"Food, service, and ambiance were all very amazing. Seats were very comfortable. Definitely highly recommended."
"Back on track One of the best kept secrets around. Oops let the cat out the bag if you go ask for Lilly she's the best they got"
"Tried this during the week in the early afternoon. I found the restaraunt to be clean. and the waitstaff was attentive. It had a nice looking bar. I ordered the captains platter which was FIsh, Shrimp, Fires and Slaw. It was excellent and I would gladly order it again. Drove back again in the evening and it was busy."
"Shooter's has been owned by the same family for decades and the place has stayed true to its roots for as long as I can remember. When you first visit you can't help but notice the exterior decor isn't exactly what you'd expect for a dive bar & restaurant - it once was a Moroccan restaurant before it was Shooters (long before I ever knew it) and they've kept it the way it was all these years.Inside, they've got all your favorite bar games, strong drinks, and whatever game you want to watch on the TVs. Food is exactly what you'd expect - it's good bar food without trying to be pretentious or fancy. It's a killer spot to grab dinner and drinks before walking the Winterhaven Festival of Lights too!"
"What a view! Service is good, but however the food is not. Pulled pork sandwich with maybe a hit on bbq and very little portion on the sandwich itself. The pulled pork sandwich was all bread. That bbq pork sandwich needs a revamp."
"Always great fun! Amy takes great care of you! Karaoke on the night we were there.Happy we live within walking distance!Already trying to figure out when we'll be back!"
"This place is like a time capsule. A classic steak house that hasn't changed in 50 plus years. Great wood and leather furniture with understated decor... that is admittedly getting a little worn. The menu is nothing exciting, just your basic steakhouse stuff. They have various cuts of beef plus shrimp, scallops, and fish options. The steak is served with a baked potato and the seafood with rice and all dishes come with a side of steamed vegetables. You also get a trip to the salad bar included as well. Most of the entrees were in the $25 to $35 range but with so much food I think that is a good deal.Everything is prepared simply but well. On my most recent visit, the first time I have been there since my teen years, I was pleased to discover a modest wine list is available upon request and they do have a pretty good selection of Mexican beers. The service was courteous and professional, though not as attentive as I would have liked... but in fairness it was a busy night. This place is a Nogales institution, so it is worth a visit if you are in the area and want a nice dinner out. The only other upscale dining options (relatively speaking) would be in Tubac or at the Rio Rico golf resort further north on I-19."
