"This is easily my favorite restaurant. I get the havarti cream cheese with the tomato basil soup. It comes with crackers on the side. It's crispy, fresh, hot and melty in all the best ways!!! I definitely dunk it and basically turn into a big kid every time I walk into this place. Service is good and they always have seating available. More of a cheers vibe, which I think is neat! "We decided to try this place as it was close to where our friends live. It was not busy at all. We were there just after 11, so we missed breakfast. Huge selection of items. We all had something different. Our friends ordered the French Dip and the meatloaf. They said their meals were good. French Dip had so much meat and the meatloaf was a huge portion. We ordered the Hit Ham and Cheese. Again, stuffed full of ham. I ordered the Cheeseburger. Again, I could barely fit this in my mouth. Brandy was our server and she was great. Very friendly and very attentive. They have tons of specials, Fish Fry on Fridays and live music on Fri & Sat, plus Happy Hour, Trivia, Free Texas Hold 'Em. Those are the ones I remember. We loved this place and we will most definitely be back!!!!!"

"Found Lucky Lou's American Grill on Yelp and wanted to give this place a try. And I give it 5 stars and here's why:Wait Time: I came in on a busy Thursday night and I really only had to wait 15 minutes. I am not sure if that can apply to everyday but the speed and efficiency of the staff and the people coming and going was quicker than any other wait time from all the other places I've been to Staff: The staff are really chill and friendly people. They all seem to enjoy their jobs and it really shows as they are checking up on us and making sure it's good. It really gives a great vibe.Atmosphere: The atmosphere is pretty great. It's got a nice comfortable feel where you can hangout with friends or loved ones. Combine that with a good staff and pretty good food, there's not much else you can ask for.Food: I ordered the cheeseburger medium rare and with onion rings with a side of barbecue wings. The cheeseburger was really good, I felt like the onion rings were much better here compared to the other places I've been too, and I have no complaints toward the wings.Sanitation: Usually what prevents the places I review from attaining 5 stars is that there's always something gross, sticky, or something is off that makes the place feel gross. I'm glad to say I did not find anything dirty coming here and sitting down. So they got a good wait time, good staff, a great atmosphere, delicious food, and it's all clean. I had no issues with my experience coming here and it's places that don't give you problems that deserve 5 stars. Would definitely recommend"

"A funky place, with a very cool outdoor mural and look. It's a combination sports bar, Saloon neighborhood tavern, it is not a dive bar and has wonderful food an outstanding beer list and a very fun cocktail list, plus wonderful staff. I have been coming three or four times a winter over the last three years I have been visiting Tucson. They are consistent with quality in all there food and beer. I usually go to a late lunch here it seems to.be less crowded and parking is easier. Everyone is understaffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. Remember they're busy because they're good. Staff have always tried to make sure I am happy. I.am older and driving, so my limit is one beer and a water. They have so many delicious choices on tap, that I get a different one each time. I usually get the French dip with shoestring potatoes sometimes i will get a burger both are wonderful. The restrooms are old but been very clean each time I have been. It's a great place with great staff and great food and drinks."

"Good value. 75¢ for 12 pitches, and you can decide the speed of the cage you go into- up to 75 miles an hour. Both baseball and softballs available. A ball hit my sisters thumb, followed by dramatic tears. And a staff member was quick to bring ice without even asking him. Showed good initiative. Then the family played a competitive game of $1 pool. Neat video games. Beer smell. Didn't have food so can't comment on that."

"Busy on a rainy Friday night. I had low expectations going in. Sat alone at the bar and ended up with the meatloaf plate, mashed potatoes, salad, and a water. Ended up being the best meatloaf I've had in Tucson, and it makes me curious to try their other food. The mashed potatoes were from scratch (you can tell by the lumps), and the gravy was tasty. They even accommodated my picky order (no tomatoes or cucumbers on the salad, and no ketchup on the meatloaf). The ketchup was served on the side and ended being a bbq sauce. Nice touch. Crowd seemed cool. This place has been here a really long time, so they must be doing something right (I think it was a Famous Sams before). Warrants a trip to Casas Adobes."

"This used to be Matty G's location. We always liked it to. But more times than not, we were the only ones there. This was our first visit to DTC. The obvious changes were the seating and added tv. Did away with at least the majority of the uncomfortable metal seats that had the high narrow back. So at least there are other options. To include some booths. The menu is a little more upscaled. At least for drinks. Still great burger options. And you can get them with 1-3 patties. The French fries are awesome! Light, crispy, fluffy. Oh my. They have an all day Friday happy hour. Love that. Most places have nothing on Fridays. They also offer a 10% military discount. Support those that support the troops!"

"We came here on a Sunday afternoon. I had wanted to come here for a while to try their pizza. Our waitress greeted us as soon as we were seated. She took our drink order. Upon browsing the menu I realized they offer so much more than pizza causing me to waiver on my pizza choice. I did decide to order the 10 inch pizza. They allow 3 toppings, but I chose 2 additional toppings for 75 cents each.The pizza was out in about 20 minutes. Time passed quickly as they have about a dozen TVs around the place. There was a basketball game I got interested in. The pizza came out with the warning, "the pan is hot". The pizza was good and hot too. There was a bit more cheese than I prefer, but not too much so the pizza was not greasy. This pizza had the perfect amount of sauce. The flavor was slightly sweet with a hint of garlic. There was a generous amount of toppings, probably because I had ordered 2 extra toppings. The sausage was like sliced Johnsonville sausage. The crust was thin, not bready or brittle crispy. There was a nice golden brown on the bottom side. As a pizza snob, I rate this pizza 4 stars. This is a good quality pizza ranking near the top of my favorite pizzas. I am listing it on my best pizza list. I will be back to experience more of their amazing munu. They have a fish fry that could possibly make my best fish fry list also."

"Very, very, very good burgers and fries. I chose the western and hand cut fries. Those fries were like liquid gold. Super yummy and fresh. The burger was lip smacking delicious. To top it off, our server was super sweet and down to earth. She was very helpful and offered lots of advice and was thorough with the best food off the menu. She checked on us often and it felt like we were her only table. It is very loud though so don't eat inside if you feel that you want to have long drawn out conversations."

Once you're in, you realize it's a pretty quiet neighborhood sports bar full of dorky old billiards enthusiasts.Very narrow beer menu, but bartenders have a few classic (and stiff!) cocktails, which they execute well. Sometimes, they'll give you a little bowl of nuts or chips or something while you're watching the game. They have pool tables, and no shortage of folks willing to play on them. I'm talking about the type who bring their own adorned and customized cues and take the game seriously. Maybe there's a type of club meeting here? Anyway, there are plenty of people of all ages here and they all have a good time. When I want to go out, but I don't want to travel downtown, this is a reliable stop."

Some mix-up between the order a the kitchen. We were here an hour before we got our orders. (Only bad thing)When it came, Mom really liked her sliders and the pickles. I enjoyed the salad with chicken. It was actually too much for me to finish! Dad loved the Gumbo and ended up taking the chicken sandwich with him. He said it tasted Very good. Because of the terrible delay, the Manager comped our meals. (Very Kind)The prices were a bit much for us, but for the Gumbo we would be back."

We went on a particularly lively day with a car show, art show, and music performance. Drink pricing and selection is quite nice too. But the food strongly drags the place down keeping it from a 4 stars. I got their "Kickass" Chicken Sandwich w/Chipotle Ranch. There was very little condiment and the chicken was just shy of totally dry. The fries also left much to be desired as the grease had absorbed into the fries and they were mostly floppy."

But I guess that is the whole point. Kinda like Hooters on steroids! Interesting to say the least.The food was pretty good, but it was hard to focus on taking pictures for this review. We ordered a barril of Dos Equis amber, but somehow got Modelo Especial. No worries - it was beer, right? The chips and guac was nice, although a little more guac is always a bonus. Mostly, I enjoyed the boistruous atmosphere at Ojos Locos, and can see myself coming back next time I am in town. It was fun!"

"Canyon's Crown is a comfortable, friendly pub. We've been here for both carry-out and dine-in and have enjoyed both. Our latest dine-in experience was great. We were seated promptly, and a very welcoming server brought us our drinks while we perused the menu. We both selected fish and chips, which--happily--comes in two sizes. I got the single filet, and my partner opted for two. Our food came quickly and looked and smelled delicious. The fish is crisp and not greasy, and it comes with a homemade tartar sauce, lemon, and a small side of slaw. The fries also were crisp and tasty, but I was too full to eat all of mine!Our server was prompt with our check and encouraged us to come visit again. We definitely will!"
