"This place is tucked away next to an ups and a 99 cent store. I absolutely can say once I opened the doors I was transported to a cute botanical garden. The vibe here is so adorable and fun, the servers are sweet and personable. The drinks are beautifully crafted and presented. The food is fantastic and everything tasted scrumptious. I'd come back again, and again!"
"Service: Great. We loved our server. She was very personable. She was literally wearing rose colored glasses!Food: Yummy. We split the prime rib. Cooked medium rare like we asked. Wine: Not much of a selection. We wanted Cabernet Sauvignon, and at first we were told they ran out, so my hubby picked the Merlot. She then told us that she found the last of the Cab and brought it to us. Pretty good.We loved it. Felt good inside. Definitely a cowboy/cowgirl vibe. I'd eat there again. I would describe the food as good comfort food."

"The food truck came to our little town and boyee! were we happy! I had just been bitching about missing good catfish and they had it on the menu ~ fresh, piping hot, lightly spicy, perfectly cooked fish, not greasy one little bit. Served in generous portions and down home flavor. It came with fries & assortment of fried shrimp & calamari with a couple hush puppies to boot. It was taaaaasty! At the last second we added an order of beignets, was not a mistake, they were fluffy, tender...just EVERYTHING. Check the pics ~ tastes as good as it looks. Nice folks, too!"
"My husband love this place and have been here a couple of times now. We are early riser people so we eat dinner pretty early since we go to bed early and both times we've eaten here near opening so service has always been so quick and top notch. The pisco sour is the best drink to pair with ceviche. My favorite ceviche is the Leche de Tigre and I also loved one that I don't currently see on their online menu that had passionfruit! For my meal, I am obsessed with the eggy pasta dish Villa Peru Linguini. This is a pricey place so plan to eat here less for a date night and more for special occasions."
"I was at the Apple Store handling some repairs on my AirPod Max. Wanted a good steak and I came here for the ribeye Cajun style. It was awesome, perfectly rare, totally tender and deliciously seasoned. I got the deviled eggs and they had pieces of bacon and pepper in them and they were amazing as well a nice whiskey to wash it down and I had an amazing meal. It was totally worth what I paid for it."
"The food, service & prices here are hard to beat, especially on Taco Tuesday! The staff TRULY aim to please!"
"A true Margarita requires just three simple ingredients: tequila, fresh lime juice, and triple sec. No added sweetener necessary.A group of us were in Tucson for the weekend, and one of my my gal pals suggested we come here to relive her college days. $92 house margarita fountain? Okay! We ordered it and we shared it with the table next to us. It was a lot of rapidly-warming margarita to imbibe.I ordered the Plato Bandera ($20.45 - "Brilliant colors of the Mexican flag paired with the sensational flavors in enchiladas; pork verde chile, beef chile rojo, and a creamy white sauce chicken enchilada"; served with rice and beans). I really enjoyed my plate and all the flavors of the dish. Perhaps I had gotten full off slamming back margaritas, but I ended up taking home leftovers. And then my leftovers went home with someone else. One thing to note: I love that they do table-side salsa. That alone gives this place an extra star. Great place! I'd stop by again for sure."
"Food, service and atmosphere all EXCELLENT!!!!We both highly recommend Mariscos Chihuahua !!!! Don't miss it!"
"Our Tubac Airbnb host and lots of Yelpers rate this #1 in Nogales AZ and though our first visit to the area and maybe the Only one haha (not much tourista happenings here ) we have no other dining to compare it to, but I can't say we disagree, lunch was very satisfying and such a deal for seafood!Shrimp Tacos $2.90 = 2 large shrimp on a single corn tortilla. Would not usually order any fried food in my taco but this Batter is light, airy and such a fluffy crisp while maintaining the juiciness of the shrimp, am I ever glad I listened to y@ll! Even better dressed up with a tango to the Salsa Bar, cabbage, onion, pico de gallo, picked onions, cilantro, and a hit of fresh lime, this dance you don't want to miss! Incredible value, couldn't touch a single shrimp taco due North at the price of 2 here. Dreaming about that magical crisp bite rn as I revisit with this review, Mmm.Cabeza Taco $2.90 meat from head of cow, another First for moi. Very tender stewed meat with more pronounced beef flavor than your regular shredded beef taco. Hubby ordered it, happy to try, and happy to return to him ;D Great to many, well made, just not for me. Ceviche Small $9.35 kinda $$ for this joint but very tasty fresh. Ordered with all the trimmings but as owner?elder server with glasses said, we can add more of the same at the salsa bar as it has all the same ingredients. So hindsight maybe you get more shrimp? with the minimal add-ins, so order the most plain version.Marisco Seafood Soup small $2.90 wow really? can't get Campbell's tomato served you for that price lol. Fills a small styro cup, clean thin tomato cilantro onion broth not fishy with a few small bites of fish and shrimp. Got small just in case it was fishy but It's quite moreish.Mexican coke reg size $2.50. Watching my glucose I took in a lemon seltzer with me and they didn't seem to mind. Soft drinks only here + house Barley& Rice Milks/ Horchata and Jamaica. We also took our bamboo cutlery as noted plastic and styro in the pics. As close as you'll get to the sea in the Sonoran Desert @CocinaLL and swimming in deliciousness :D!!"
"Today was my 2nd visit to Tacos y Mariscos Jaliscos and I will say this place is a solid 5 stars. My first trip I had the quesabirria tacos and they were fantastic. Today I had two tacos: adobada and battered, fried fish. Both were excellent! The restaurant is small and you order at the counter and they bring your food to the table (real plates - not plastic or styrofoam). We were there celebrating a coworker's birthday and everyone was quite happy with their selections. There is a salsa bar so you can help yourself to some condiments. Bonus is that the staff is super nice as well.Pro tip: order the pink horchata. It's surprisingly delicious!"
"First time eating here on Taco Tuesday. had the Fred Fish tacos and the Mini Chimichangas plate with Rice & Beans. Everything was excellent. The Chimis were perfectly cooked and it came with sour cream, which was nice. The beans and rice were spot on! Breading on the fish tacos light and tasty. Service was fast and friendly. I will be back for sure and I highly recommend this place."
"So our visit to the Bistro was very 50-50. The ambience was nice and the servers were very kind. My French onion soup was delicious but my fish tacos were very bad. It had zero seasoning, not even salt. The fish was fresh I could tell it was fresh fish - but it tasted awful and so bland. The veggies were the same- zero flavor. The other thing that was a disappointment was the bathrooms did not have a changing table so I had to change my son in the car. You would think going into 2025 all restaurants would have at least one Koala Kare changing station. I would only want to come back for the French onion soup since it is hard to find good French onion soup."

We ate at the location inside American eat company, but it's the same menu, and I cannot find that location on Yelp, so I am basing my review off the other location but I'm sure this one is just as good! We were so impressed by the beautiful presentation of the food itself. Our food was so fresh, and the shrimp and oysters were not scrawny at all. Everything is so hooked up, so although it's pricy, you get your money's worth. I enjoyed each item a lot and the hot sauce was very delicious drizzled on everything. It feels like very modern dishes and up to date techniques in preparation of all their dishes.

I heard good things about Off the Hook Seafood and had the chance to give them a try while listening to music in Button Brew House's "backyard." The menu was full of reasonably-priced seafood-comfort food. Fried scallops, shrimp, oysters, fish, and/or chicken tenders with fries or onion rings plus hush puppies and slaw. But, lobster mac in Tucson? Yes, please! After I paid, I was prepared to wait near the trailer, but they said that I should go enjoy the music - they'd find me. Nice! After just a few minutes, I received my small deli-sized container of dinner. Don't let the size fool you. The dish was full of chunky lobster pieces, smooth cheese that neither overpowered the seafood nor tasted fake, and just enough bacon to provide seasoning. It was positively delicious and so filling that I had to share some bites with my friend. I will be following Off the Hook on Facebook so I can take my partner to enjoy their yummy food. This seafood in the desert is a keeper.

I previously came here for a Valentine's Day dinner and had a magnificent experience. I came here again for dinner with the family, and we tried a lot of dishes.Trio of ceviche: we tried the villa peru with seafood, one with conchas (clams), and another seafood ceviche for the ceviche festival. All unique flavors.Papa rellena - crispy appetizer with the sauce. Wagyu Salgado - tender wagyu.Peruvian tomahawk - excellent flavors and perfect for sharing. Chilean seabass - hands down my favorite dish with the perfectly cooked fish and seasoning. Arroz con Mariscos - seafood and rice, yes! This paella was tasty. Chicha morado - purple corn, pineapple, cinnamon, and fresh lime juice

It was just eh to be real. Like, don't get me wrong, we had a big party. But there were reservations made far in advance so it's not like it was a surprise and it's not like the restaurant was packed. They took a long time to take food and drink orders and nobody at the table got refills. Two of the orders were incorrect but it took so long it was just like whatever. The food was okay, kind of bland. Not "bad", but way over priced for what it was. This doesn't matter for food quality but OHEMGEEEE there were so many typos on the menu. The table next to us got to go boxes as soon as they got their food because they waited so long.

"LOVR LOVE LOVE WE have been coming here for years!! We always get the XL ceviche and the Camaron "Shrimp" Culichi. The ceviche comes with chips, mayo, limes and hot sauce. Mayo? Yes Mayo!! You put it in the tostada, then the ceviche and a squirt of lime and hot sauce and you're taste buds will sing like Mariachis!! The Culichi comes with fries, rice and a salad. We always get extra rice and no fries. Also mui importante ~ Make sure you order extra Culichi sauce because YES it's that good!!"
"If your name is Baja Fish, customer expectations will naturally be high. While these tacos certainly look the part, the flavors are just okay. The creamy sauce tastes less Baja and more salad dressing. The corn tortillas were a bit stiff. It wouldn't take much for their tacos to be memorable. It just didn't happen on this visit."
"A busy place during weekend lunch and dinner time. The dishes are done well with a wide range to choose from. Call ahead if you have a large party for dining."
"Went with a party of nine family members. There was a pretty long wait between ordering and serving, then the wait staff brought the whole order at once. Grandkid's nachos were cold, as was my chile (more like chilly) rellano plate. Only the seafood plates came out hot. I guess they were the last to be ready. Also, some complimentary chips while we waited would have been nice."
"I had an amazing experience here! Lunch special sushi and nigiri, and a squid dish. Super delicious, super pretty, very clean atmosphere. I felt comfortable and satisfied at the end of the meal."
"We came here because I had to drop off my car at a dealership close by.What an amazing experience, this place was awesome. The wait staff was great, the food was better. I felt like it took a long time to bring out our appetizer but at least the dinners didn't come out at the same time. So I was pleased. We will definitely be back!"
"I love a seafood taco, and these did not disappoint! Although they're just serving out of a food truck, the service was really friendly, the food was made fresh, and they have plenty of outdoor seating set up. We ordered shrimp and fish tacos, as well as a quesadilla (same contents as the tacos, plus cheese and a nice sear on the tortilla). Everything was great quality and good value for the price. If I lived in Tucson, I'd be a regular here!"
"I told my husband I wanted to try a quick roadside food truck for lunch and we accidentally had the best meal yet in our two months in Tucson. The fried fish tacos were stellar and the shrimp, cheese, and chipotle tacos were unbeatable. We will be back with anyone who visits us from out of town!"
"Enjoyed our dinner! I'm "new" to the tofu scene and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I'm always worried the tofu will be too soft for my liking. This was nice a crisp on the outside and medium texture on the inside. We also had the chicken dumplings. They were ok."
"This places ratings need to be WAY higher. True, mouth numbing, sinus clearing sichuan food. We got the grilled house pot and the bamboo and pork stir fry that the waiter recommended and they were *chefs kiss.* I've never had such tender black fungus and bamboo before. Super affordable and we had rooms of leftovers so the value for the money is great. The service was fast and our waiter was very personable. He even helped us pack up our leftovers. We just moved from northern California and we were missing some good Chinese food. SO happy we found this place. Can't wait to go back!"
"I cannot begin to tell you how rare this is, but come on man. The food is what it is - mediocre but our localJoint when people are hungry. My issue is the small things - three times we have asked for .... chopsticks. We have all been in the military of deployed by a private contractor overseas. We like eating certain foods with chopsticks. And we get cheap plastic forks - no chopsticks from a place called chopstixs. Asked personally ... nope ... placed it under special instructions twice? No ... just mediocre food with cheap plastic forks. The food is overpriced, and lacking in taste - the fact they can't get something simple like chopsticks three times in a row makes me wonder what else they are missing and that stinks - it shouldn't be that way.Of course it is still better than MacDonalds;)"
"I have been wanting to try this place for a couple weeks, and since it is 3 minutes from where I work, yesterday was the day. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and I decided to sit at the bar. The staff is super friendly, and there is ample seating. I met Sam, the ownerand his lovely wife, and it is clear just from talking with him, there is GREAT pride in every thing that is prepared. It was suggested I try the Naufrago roll, and I asked for it to be a bit spicy. I was expecting a typical "roll"....but what I got was visually extraordinary, and a LOT of food. The flavor of the roll was such a perfect combination of flavors, I just stopped chewing and let my taste buds enjoy. The roll also comes with imitation crab meat, and ceviche on the side. Truth be told I have not tried ceviche in 9 years after a bad experience. Until last night!! I smelled the ceviche on my plate and the aroma was amazing! Hands down some of the BEST ceviche I have ever had The seasoning allowed the flavors to compliment one another without any one overpowering, and it was so fresh!. The immigration crab meat was excellent, and also prepared from scratch. Sam told me everything is prepared from scratch, and it shows. I ended up calling a co worked to meet me there and help me finish my meal. She LOVED it !! We each ordered a Naufrago roll to go!I can not wait to go back and explore more of the extensive menu! Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed. Family owned , and heart and soul put in every dish."
"Showed up at 11. Seated right away and brought drinks. We took a little time to check out the menu, then ordered. The waitress was kind. The food took a Very Long time to get to us. Some mix-up between the order a the kitchen. We were here an hour before we got our orders. (Only bad thing)When it came, Mom really liked her sliders and the pickles. I enjoyed the salad with chicken. It was actually too much for me to finish! Dad loved the Gumbo and ended up taking the chicken sandwich with him. He said it tasted Very good. Because of the terrible delay, the Manager comped our meals. (Very Kind)The prices were a bit much for us, but for the Gumbo we would be back."
"Taco Giro is one of the places we look forward to coming to when we're in Tucson! The food is something we can't get in Mesa!Service is great when we got there but it did take a little while to get the check when we were ready to leave. But Right when we walked in we were seated and the chips great salsa and beans were brought right out to us very quickly. We ordered the #1 and bacon wrapped shrimp with rice and beans.I have to say the shrimp plate is our favorite!!The drinks are great here too!Highly recommend this restaurant!"
"Another Incredible Meal at La Frida! We loved this place so much that we came back for a second day in a row--and once again, everything was absolutely amazing! We started with the Costilla de Elote, and it was just as delicious as we hoped--perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor. For our main dishes, we had the Carnitas Tacos, Kahlo Enchiladas, Fridachilis, and the Battered Fish Tacos, plus a Kids' Quesadilla for our little one. Every bite was fantastic, from the crispy, flavorful fish tacos to the rich, well-balanced enchiladas. The carnitas were tender and full of flavor, and the Fridachilis brought a fun, unique twist.I had the El Venado cocktail to start--smooth, bold, and perfectly crafted--then treated myself to a Piña Colada for dessert, which was the perfect sweet and creamy ending to the meal.La Frida continues to impress with its outstanding food, creative drinks, and warm atmosphere. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out! We'll definitely be back again."
"A bit pricey per plate but well worth every bite! Every employee was very friendly and accommodating and the WIDE variety of food was very fresh and cooked EXACTLY the way we did it since it was HIBACHI style! We will DEFINITELY return!!!"
"I decided to try this place after work. I was STARVING!! The place was getting packed! I ordered ceviche appetizer (fish) for an appetizer. The guy informed me of the type of fish it was (don't remember the name). It was a flaky fish. Let's just say I'll order the shrimp next time lol. It wasn't bad, it didn't taste fishy at all, but I'd be more subtle with the shrimp next time. I inhaled it all. I forgot to take a picture of my main plate. I ordered 3 enchiladas (beef, shredded beef, chicken) with rice and beans. The shredded beef was pretty darn good! My food was really good! I inhaled that also. I wanted to get a desert but I was overly stuffed. I had to sit in the parking lot for a while and let the food settle. I will definitely come back and try more off their menu. And the Horcjhata was bomb!!"
"Food, service, and ambiance were all very amazing. Seats were very comfortable. Definitely highly recommended."
"My guy made reservations for my birthday in late June and all the wait staff greeted me with happy birthday. I again ordered the char salmon and wasn't disappointed. 3rd time having the salmon, and I don't know how they do this, but the salmon is always terrific, the veggies are fresh, local, tasty. My desert was a sweet little B-day cake with a happy birthday sign in chocolate.Note: the restaurant is located at Desert Diamond, but in a section close to the event center and not inside of the casino."
"09JAN2025: The burger and wings were simply outstanding. Came in with an Instagift card, manager came from the kitchen and processed it no problemo! Overall, 5 star service, food and experience. Thanks Trident on Speedway Team!"
"We ate here this week and it was pretty damn good . The table made salsa was tasty and so fresh ! I dont like chunky salsa but this was not that , it was super good ! My wife got the lobster enchi's and the sauce was really good and flavorful . I got the molcajete with everything and it was F I R E ( AMAZING ) so freaking good and it stayed hot all the way till we got home because i could not finish it all . so good !!!Our server was Victoria so a big shout out and thank you"
"This is the most gourmet delicious vegan dish in all of Tucson The restaurant is beautiful with some of the best customer service as well! 5 Chef's Kiss!"
"Wife and I were down here in Tucson tonight for her birthday. Decided to give this place a try because of the reviews. Wrong!! The tables were dirty. The salsa had a tang to it that I don't know what they were trying to make. Took forever to get our drinks that obviously we didn't want any ice with our room temperature unsweetened tea with. My carni asada was soo thin. It was literally on the flat top for all but 2 min. Flavorless food all around. I don't know what these people down here in tuscon like. But the tables next to us obviously come to this place a lot. Don't settle for crap Mexican food!! Have had way better in Virginia tbh!!"
