"Mona's baked goods are delicious and I'm so happy we have a bakery that makes Kringle, but the recent issues on my last visit were really problematic. We've ordered pastries and baked goods from Mona's for Christmas breakfast for years without issue, but this year when we arrived to pick up our order that had been placed more than a week before, we were told they didn't have any individual quiches. No apology and no explanation as to how this happened or why we weren't contacted so we could order something else. Instead, the woman who helped us was abrupt and unfriendly. I get that it's a busy time of year, but this left is scrambling on Christmas Eve to find an alternate breakfast item for one of our family members. (La Baguette for the win.)I've never had an issue with my order in the past, but I don't think I'll risk another situation like this in the future."

Since I used to have a client who lived nearby, I remember coming here often, and have fond memories of eating pizza and working on homework here when I was in college. In a way, this place reminds me a lot of growing up in New Jersey. Every neighborhood had a small local pizza joint that they frequented. In fact, where I grew up, there were about 4 within a mile from me, and they were all different from each other. Just like my neighborhood joints, the pizza here is not the best, but it's not the worst either. It is made quickly, with quality ingredients, and it comes out of the oven very hot and crispy. Can't say I have had anything else, because I do not need to. To add to the feel, they also have a few arcade games here as well that you can play. It reminded me of my childhood."

I've been shopping at Sausage Shop for years for sausages and meats to cook at home like for gumbo and BBQ, but hadn't eaten in before. This is mostly due to working so far away and not trying them on a Saturday. I should have come sooner for a sandwich. I got the Tubby sandwich and it didn't disappoint at all. The ingredients of the sandwich all complimented each other. I got the hot mustard on the side to not mess up the reheating later. I had a feeling the sandwich was going to be too much for me in one sitting. The place is a mom & pop meat counter kind of place. They are old school, but like an old school place you get great old school service. An example of this is they have a sign to be off your phone. I'm guessing too many customers were unable to extend the courtesy of being off the phone when being waited on. Yeah don't make the same mistake I did and wait too long to try some amazing sandwiches."

The woman taking orders at the drive-thru window sounded like she would rather be anywhere else but there, displaying an unfriendly and bothered demeanor throughout the entire transaction.From the moment we pulled up to the speaker, it was evident that this employee lacked any semblance of customer service skills. Her responses were curt and lacked any hint of friendliness. It was as if we were inconveniencing her by placing an order. After each item we ordered, her robotic and annoyed voice would chime in with a monotonous "anything else?" that made us feel like we were burdening her with our choices. We decided to end our order and take our business elsewhere.It comes as no surprise that the reviews for this particular Eegees store are as low as they are. The abysmal service we received is not in line with the standards I have come to expect from other Eegees locations. It's no wonder that the store was practically empty on a bustling Saturday night in busier area of town.I strongly urge the management of this Eegees location to prioritize customer service training. It's clear that the current staff is not capable of providing a satisfactory customer experience. I sincerely hope that the management takes these criticisms to heart and works towards creating a more customer-centric environment. Until then, I cannot recommend this location. One star because 0/5 is not an option."
