"The restaurant is open to the public and since they were doing a fundraiser for the daughters school tonight, we decided to try it. The daughter had an activity till 6:30 though, so we did take out.The hostess station wasn't manned so we made our way to the bar, where we saw a to go sign hanging. We were quickly greeted by a server who asked if we needed help. I gave her my name and then she walked away and began helping other people. Luckily a few minutes later another server asked if we needed help and then actually helped us. He found our order, brought it out and opened the boxes to make sure correct and rang us up.We ordered the ahi poke flatbread and a custom pizza with olives and bacon. I had been a little skeptical of the ahi cause kale salad but I love ahi and spicy so I figured I would try. So glad I did! The kale is grilled and delicious and the ahi is generous. Spice is perfect and the crunch of the flatbread is a nice texture change. Messy to eat but worth it.The pizza was great. Perfect amount of sauce, good distribution of toppings. Huge size. A large pizza can easily feed family of 4."
"I have seen Tony G DJ for years from back when there was The Speakeasy to different events around town. He always keeps the crowd engaged and entertained playing all different kinds of music appropriate for the occasion. He is a lot of fun and you can't go wrong with choosing his services."
"This place is so cute! In business for a year now, an absolute gem! It's Nancy and her daughter running the show, and they are a great team! The class was limoncello macarons. All of our supplies were laid out, and ready to go, and we watched Nancy do everything in the front of the room, along with a mirror so we could see what's inside her bowl! We got everything ready, and had an hour to go to lunch while they baked in the oven! The macarons came out great, and just melted in your mouth! We got a cute box to put them in to take home. There were some snacks, water, lemonade, coffee or tea to sip on while we worked. This place just felt so cozy, with cute quotes on the walls, cookbooks on a shelf, some spring decor - just loved it! Everything flowed and stayed on track timewise, and I think it's great that it's a family team!"
"As a wedding planner, working with Jared was a true delight. He was prepared and his professionalism helped create a smooth flow of the wedding during the entire event. He was an incredible emcee and his personality made the wedding enjoyable. His DJ skills and system were impressive. He worked with the Bride and Groom to create specific mixes for pre-wedding, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and the reception. He was a master of getting guests up to dance and then keep them on the dance floor. I give him my highest recommendation. If you need a DJ for any event, Jared is your man! - Bliss Events AZ."
"Simply the best. My group has had used All About Parties for years and we've never been disappointed. The quality of equipment is top notch and the employees who come to our sites are always so professional and attentive. Yesterday we had inclement weather hit during the middle of our event and the attendant handled the situation perfectly. No reason to use anyone else. This crew is trustworthy and professional."
"Attended a baby shower here two weeks ago for my Wife's family , nice venue, enough room for 150 people. Would definitely consider this for a future event!"
"I've used this location on several occasions without even thinking about it for minor issues (I needed a soup toureen and some serving ware for a small at-home event) and for a major party where I rented everything from tables and chairs to serving ware, bar utensils, and flatware.I have to say, dealing with them is always a great experience. Their customer service is PHENOMENAL. I went in for my husband's birthday party and worked with a guy who wasn't a regular up front. I gave them a color that they didn't have in stock (a specific royal blue that I'd used on the invitations) and they matched that color in napkins and table cloths from a Phoenix supplier within 4 days. The only issue was that the customer service rep accidentally ordered red wine glasses instead of champagne flutes (the order DID say champagne flutes, so it wasn't me lol). We got everything home and only noticed that the glasses weren't right after the event was started. It was SUCH a disappointment, but I was overwhelmed by how quickly the manager made it right. You can't undo an incredibly awkward toast at a 40th birthday party, but he was very kind and immediately offered to credit all of the glassware back to my account.Because this was my 4th time using the company, I knew what to expect and I only wish I'd known about them (or my planner had) for my wedding. They make it easy! Whether you need a couple of table cloths or an entire party, it's worth it to go with AZ Party rentals, you will not be disappointed and, given enough time, they can get anything they don't have and they will work with your time frame and budget nicely.Basically, always use them. Don't be disappointed like I was at my wedding with another vendor who shall not be named..."
"They had a fun time we went Miniature golfing. We had a really good time it was for annivgrocery something fun to do up in Tucson. We also stayed the night up here so we'd call for a couple hours and had a really good time. It was a too crowded but they also need to fix thick stir on the green. It looks pretty bad"
"The acoustics sounded great plus I'm 6 5" and the seats are very comfortable, large, and have plenty of leg room unlike the TCC."
"I wanted to say thank you so much for willing to go out of your way and drive all the way up to Phoenix to save my sons birthday. We had company scheduled but unfortunately they got COVId and had to cancel last min. I called all over town to find someone but it was so last min. I can't thank you enough and I can't tell you how much these means!"

A great place for dinner or takeout. Conveniently located in 49ers Country Club, it is a wonderful option for the far northeast side of Tucson. The service is magnificent and friendly. There are options for any appetite, as well. The restaurant is also very good at substitutions or special requests. Another perk - the views are simply spectacular!!!!!

Tony G knows music! He does a great job getting everyone riled up and ready to sing. He isn't pushy towards anyone who doesn't feel comfortable to sing. Yet, he gives just the right amount of persuasion to those who pretend they are afraid but really want to sing. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! He had a wide variety of songs but his books could use some updating because they are not an accurate reflection of what he actually had available. You just have to ask him if he has the song you want to sing.

My family and I recently attended an macaron making class at Antsy Nancy in Tucson and had a wonderful experience! This is a place where you can learn new skills whether it's cooking, baking, or decor, they do it all. The space and staff are very welcoming and have everything you will need to complete the project. Whether it's mastering a new craft technique or just finding a fun way to spend an afternoon, this is a great place to go for all ages. The instructors are friendly, patient, and truly passionate about their craft, making each class not only informative but fun and inspiring. The owner, Heidi, led our class and made it so easy to do something that is known to be pretty hard to do. My kids had so much fun learning and getting hands on with ingredients and seeing the process from start to finish. Our macarons were so delicious and we could not stop eating them! If you're looking for a fun, creative outlet or a place to spend some quality time with friends and family, I highly recommend Antsy Nancy. It's the perfect environment to explore your creativity, make something special, and leave with not only a smile on your face but with something amazing that you made. Totally recommend it!

Jared is an incredible DJ and also just a very kind and easygoing person! He met with us prior to the wedding to discuss our music likes and dislikes in detail, and was very knowledgable when we asked his advice about certain songs and timing. At our wedding, we started the ceremony a little later than planned (due to photos taking longer than we thought), and Jared worked seamlessly with our other vendors to make sure that things ran smoothly through cocktail hour and the reception. I was a little bit stressed about it, but he has a very calming presence and put me at ease immediately, reassuring me that everything was going to work out. I would highly recommend Jared for your event. He was professional, patient, and is very good at what he does!

This was our first time renting a bounce house. Marklin was on time , set up quickly, and he was very polite. Also, the bounce house was clean and in good condition. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends.

Great customer service. I had a hard time finding a reasonable price for renting round tables, and in the short time I needed them. APS was awesome. Not only were they very competitive and less expensive than what I was able to find, they were very pleasant and had amazing follow through. They communicated every step of the way, called me before the day of to ensure delivery and were prompt in picking them up as well. The tables and chairs were clean and almost new.

DON'T COME FOR MINI GOLF!The mini golf here is not good quality!!! There is ripped up turf, there are areas with mismatched levels of turf that makes it hard for the ball to go smoothly, there's a hole in a dark cave with ZERO lighting, there's a hole that ate one of our balls (instead of going down the ramp, the ramp is broken and we saw multiple balls hiding stuck in there), and the area is just plain dirty and not well taken care of. My hands got so dusty and dirty from picking up the golf ball between holes. Either there is dirt in the hole itself or on the turf, or both. And not to mention, the score card only goes up to 9 holes! Even though there is two sets of 18 holes. Google says they close at 8 and Yelp says they close at 11, but at 7:15 an employee came up to us and said they're closed and we should wrap up. Me and my date still had a fun time while laughing at the quality, but don't come out of your way here. Another funny thing is they kept playing an instrumental version of Crawling by Lincoln Park on repeat over by the go kart racing, very odd hahaha.

"I wanted to praise this venue so highly. I would 100% recommend this over and over again. I came across the venue at the bridal show expo. I met Debi. I just kind of knew this venue was gonna be the one from there. When I met Debi she was super fantastic from the get-go. Not saying that the other people were not as great like John or Georgina. They were fantastic with my engagement photos at the venue. Because everybody at the Butte was super amazing. They helped me every step of the way. Any questions concerns it was addressed. The day of all the employees like Debi Georgina John all said hi and checked on me. They truly went out of their way. They wanted to make sure I was good along with the groom. They help me get ties and boutonnieres to people. They made sure that the ceremony ran perfectly along with the reception. They helped me out in anyway possible. They did everything that I ever even envisioned and more. But I just can't tell you how much I love Debi. Any concerns, any worries that I had she listened. She didn't judge she really helped me through it all especially when I had conservative parents who tried to put opinions in. She was absolutely an amazing person to work with planning my wedding. She made the planning process so easy I really had no stress at all. I do want to thank Tim from unforgettable events that the venue provided. He made the reception and the ceremony to remember with the music, the sparklers, the clouds. Tim listened to my little fun quirky things I wanted to add and was totally on board for it all. My family and his family loved the venue. They have never seen a venue like this, they were so obsessed. His family had been to four previous weddings before this. They said this was the best wedding they have seen. The details this wedding had was beautifully done and were wowed from the ceremony to the reception. I just want to thank you guys for making my day magical. If anyone wants an all inclusive venue, I would absolutely recommend this venue hands down."
"Five stars for Kyle and his Margarita Machine Rentals! This was the BEST addition to our party. We were provided with an aesthetic cart for the machine, mixing container, instructions- everything we needed! Kyle had great communication, was prompt, and was helpful explaining setup. We are looking forward to our next event where we can rent a margarita machine again!"
"We were in town for soccer and I needed a venue for our large group. Cactus Bowl was so easy to book online and really kind and accommodating when we were there. Super cool staff (especially Rebecca and Mike)."
"In planning our wedding the last thing we forgot to do was get a DJ, less than 30 days out!!! On our list from our wedding coordinator was VOX DJ and Jared specifically. Jared was spectacular! He was flexible with the time we could speak to him, we are from Orange County, CA and he put together a great set of music that balanced out Spanish, line dancing and top hits that seamlessly transitioned with the songs we requested too! It went smoothly and it felt like he was totally suppose to be there! Thank you Jared for helping to create a great experience for our wedding! We totally recommend him and our wedding guests would agree!"
"Painting and Vino provides an artistic experience for us non-artists. Instructors lead us step-by-step, offering tips, tricks, and advice as we paint. They partner with restaurants and bars and have everything set up for the event: canvas, easels, paint, and brushes at each seat. Servers come by to make sure we have enough wine. (Funny how our paintings look more beautiful after imbibing some wine !) This painting event was special; at Tandem American Eatery (excellent food - one of our favorites) and a fundraiser for PACC (a favorite charity).Turnout was great, with eighteen participants, and our instructor was cool, helpful, and funny. This was not my first paint and wine time, and I love that the painters are always friendly with their table mates, which really enhances the enjoyment. A plug for Tandem: My friend and I arrived early for dinner before painting. My wings were as big and tasty as they always are and my friend said her bacon blue cheeseburger burger was as delivious as I told her it would be. The burger comes with the most delicious house-made potato chips. My pal loved them."
"I had reserved my daughters quince at this location. After putting the money down and putting a little extra, I had called a few months after to make a payment when I was told that I lost my date. I asked about this and she stated that I did not give month to month payments I asked about getting my money that I put extra and she stated no refunds.. I asked why did they not contact me and she stated that they tried.. never did I get an email, or a phone call about losing my daughters quince date. A few months after this, I receive a call from the owner (surprisingly they DID have my new #) asking if I wanted to give my date away, which was for May 20 2017. The reason of her contacting me at the time was meant for another party, she had over booked my date with two other parties because she mentioned to different party events until I mentioned my daughters name. I was furious because these past couple of months I have been looking for another event hall. I stated to the owner how she told me that I lost the date and she said yes but she was not in the office at that time. To make the story shorter.... a friend posted a picture about this reception. I made a comment on how it is a beautiful reception area however, I had a bad experience with customer service... the owner commented on that post. Arguing about my contract giving my personal contract information online in social media, as I commented about this her response was she never had any contact information.... after a few replies back and fourth and no professionalism on the behalf of customer service I showed her and to everyone viewing a screen shot that she contact me on my new number...Her reasoning to argue was irrelevant and very unprofessional. Never did she try to apologize. They only care about your money but no care for customer satisfaction. Be very careful!!!!"
"The hubby and I only came because it was highly recommended by his brother. He got a strawberry raspado (sno-cone) with vanilla ice cream. They used fresh strawberry juice and strawberry as well a hard vanilla ice cream (one scoop) in the center of the raspado. He did not have any complaints and was happy he could put as much Lechera (sweetened milk) on as he wanted as that was self-serve. I elected to try their banana split. It was quite appealing seeing as they used fresh strawberries and pineapple to top it. It had granola instead of nuts and that was surprisingly delicious. Initially, the banana split looked great until I realized there were three large vanilla scoops stuffed into a hot dog sized to-go styrofoam tray. It was topped with whipped cream and a stingy drizzle of chocolate sauce and one half of a banana. For $5.25 it was not worth it. The ice cream was so cold it broke my plastic spoon and once I picked up the tray it made a mess. I had all of these ingredients in my lap, on the floor and in the car. A totally sticky mess. The customer service needs major improvement. They spoke English and Spanish but were not at all welcoming or appeared to be happy to have customers. Upon entering there are two side: the left is filled with party/event planning items and separate cashier stations (2) there and on the right is a small counter with one cashier station, small kitchen area with a small freezer for a selection of dessert and snack items.Oh, the parking area is free and there is plenty of it."
"We came here Sunday Oct 2nd to get a free ride with our GetOut Pass and loved it so much we did another ride. Basically you zipline and shoot at targets with a laser gun. It was so much fun! I recommend for all ages. The owners were really nice and recommended places to stay in Tombstone for our next trip out."
"My husband and I were married at the La Mariposa Resort. It was definitely everything imagined. A day that we'll always remember and deeply cherish.Working with Cynthia and John is easy and they are very accommodating to ones wishes. It felt more than just a consultation, we connected. It made all the difference and the experience even more spectacular. Their entire team is friendly and helpful. They worked with me on details, answered every question and never minded that I showed up to plan things out leading up to event. They even made changes the day before and some minor additions the day of wedding. For those that know me, this is a big deal for me to be able to set the ambiance. The space at La Mariposa is spacious, beautiful trees, plenty greenery, the pond, fountains, and more, make La Mariposa the place for every special event. We had an outdoor ceremony followed by an indoor reception and it was perfect. John, also the DJ put together all the music selected for the ceremony and executed flawlessly. No hiccups, as this was a concern for me and I'm sure for anyone putting a wedding together. Our. family and friends are still talking about our ceremony and setting at venue. These compliments are a reminder that we had picked the right venue. I definitely could go on about this place but I will allow photos to share to the memories that were created at La Mariposa. If you're looking for a venue for a wedding, party, Quinceñera, or any event I highly recommend this place. Thank you La Mariposa, for turning our dream wedding into a reality.Jess"
"Had a blast at a Yahmaker Paint & Sip with coworkers. The event was held at Pita Jungle on Oracle Rd. We painted the "Desert Milky Way". It was interesting to see how others paintings turned out. Will be attending another one to paint that masterpiece."
"All I can say is that balloons make everyone happier!! This team did an excellent job!! They decorated the ZBT house for family weekend and everyone absolutely loved it. We did a photo back drop for the families to take photos! Memories to last a lifetime. In addition we had 6 balloon towers. Perfect amount for a perfect weekend!"
"Last week (1/5 to 1/9) we rented approximately 50 tables for a large event at our church (St Paul's UMC). We were extremely satisfied with the customer service and quality of tables. As a matter of fact, we have rented tables from A La Carte for several years and we continue to be extremely satisfied. We highly recommend them and will use them again."
"What a relief! Vicky and Monica worked a dinner party of 35 for us last weekend. I cannot say enough good things about the service and the people! vickyrandall-waitstaff.comWe reviewed the menu, talked about food stations, and then I backed off at their urging. Vicky was fully prepared for any eventuality. And she and Monica were able to make food presentations more appetizing than the caterers! They cheerfully set up, served, replenished, and cleaned up. We enjoyed our guests! We had no worries and no interruptions! Just quality time with guests! We will hire them again!"
"Gaby and I knew each other before I even met my spouse, but even if that weren't the case there isn't another person I'd trust during the planning process. They were communicative, put out fires, helped us wrap our heads around anything and everything, and took so many things off of our plate the day of. I can't imagine doing all of this without a planner, but especially can't imagine our wedding day without Gaby"
"Great experience while traveling back to Tucson!Only gave it 4 stars because there were only two people were working and they were swamped on a Friday in the middle of the day. Parking: Ample- as it's located in the Tucson Mall just off of Dillards and food court (downstairs).Prices: Reasonable for walk-ins and appointments, personalized services that are perfectly sized for little girls like my own (2nd grader). We just chose a basic manicure and while waiting she was invited to join another girl in decorating cookies that she was able to take home for $5 more. My daughter loved that her she was able to choose the scent of the water in with her hands were prepped in. She smelt lovely late into the evening. Options: Tons of options, just like an adult nail salon but with a lot more extra love and inclusiveness. My daughter's nail polish is still on and so is the glitter on top of them."
