Let me say it was delicious and reminded me of home. I have not found a place that can even compare to burritos in New Mexico but this is one of them! If you are near by I recommend just going and trying it. The service was excellent and efficient. The staff are super kind and welcoming, and even are willing to help you decide what you would like to get. The ambiance is great too, I brought my computer to get something's done and it was a productive morning. Highly would recommend the breakfast burrito and the caramel cold brew horchata. I have NO clue how the sushi side is... I hear it's just as fresh and good... the place is semi small. Eight 4x seaters in all. Plus two tables outside, and a few bar seats. It can get loud in here for conversations echo in small spaces. Love the energy of the crew. Taco Tuesday is always a very fast paced day.... So expect some delays with seating and food... On weekdays, many of the tacos are $1.00. That's stellar. The horchata they have also tasted great. I'd definitely get it again. Lastly, the chicken verde tamale was a bit small and on the drier side for my taste. I did however love the salsas and used them with all of the food items today. The employees were also really nice and helpful. I highly recommend."

Don V. "I was introduce to this place by a very good friend of mine after a few white claws at a local bar. At first glance it looks like a typical Burrito shop with flashing lights on the windows. The place is very out dated with chairs and tables from what looks like the 90's. It's well lit with super bright white LED lights to make sure you see what you're eating as well as taking really good photos of the food. The order:I was told by the cashier to get the El bandido as it was her favorite burrito! At 1st bite it had a weird sweet savory taste which got better towards the middle with the help of the green chili Reno, sour cream and Picco de Gallo. The tortilla was super soft and delicious. We also shared a taco which consist of tripa, cabeza, lengua and some greens on top - not a big fan of cabeza but this was really tasty - highly recommend.Overall:For a burrito shop this place takes 1st place in my books. Super friendly service with great recommendations and tasty burritos with delicious ingredients. The price was on point. Will be back(on cheat day).KCYE Don"

Love so many things about this spot...the location, the storefront, outdoor seating only, smoky bbq smells, the burritos are phenomenal, the people are super friendly, everything! I went with the brisket, egg and cheese burrito and added refried beans to it. Loved every bite and was sad when it was gone. Brad H. "The chicken is very flavorful and I really enjoyed it. It is better than Pollo Loco's chicken. The rice and beans were OK, too. The chicken is a result of the originator's own recipe. The chicken is marinated and then grilled. It comes out moist and tender and flavorful. This location is fairly big with lots of tables. It has a nice eating area with panoramic windows if you want to view the Valencia traffic. ;)The server was meh, you could tell she was "just working there" and that's about it. However, an Esmeralda was working the drive-through and sometimes the counter and listening to her wait on customers was a delight. I had to get a refill on my horchata and she was just cheery and positive. If you want a good alternative to fast food chains, try this local chain for a variety on your menu. It's one of the better chicken places in town. This is basically "just around the corner" for me and it is very convenient. Over the last eight years, this has been my go-to place for all of my Amazon returns. The employees are friendly. Decent hours that are convenient. We've even sent a few packages on our own. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money.4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business.3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it.2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money.1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!"

Richard F. "On our recent trip to Nogales we looked for the restaurant where we ate on our last visit but, unfortunately it was closed. So just down the street we found this place and it turned out to be a good find. We arrived after the lunch crowd left so we had no trouble finding a comfortable booth. Our server came right away and took our drink order. She was back quickly to take our food order. We decided to order two combinations and then share. I ordered the chile relleno, taco dorado and enchilada. My wife got the chimichanga, gordita, and quesadilla. Both were served with a nice portion of rice, a salad and a hot homemade salsa. We shared and both had enough to satisfy our hunger. Everything was delicious and the hot salsa added enough spice to give it a great flavor. If you like authentic Mexican food rather than the pretend Tex-Mex this is a great place to eat. We will return for sure soon and hope they do not close in the meantime."

We got 2 chicken chimichanga plates to go. They. Were. Phenomenal. First off they were huge. Gargantuan. And oh so amazingly crispy on the outside. Topped with dollops of sour cream and guacamole like a crown on a large, crispy, golden baby. After taking a few bites, I got a taste of the chicken on its own and man that was the best chicken I've had at a Mexican place. They did not skimp on the beans and rice and they paired so well with that crunchy-shelled blimp of a chimichanga. After eating the entire thing and literally licking the plate clean I can confidently say they have the best chimichangas I've had in the valley so far. I can't speak for anything else on the menu but if you have a hankering for a beautifully crispy outside, wonderfully flavorful inside, chicken infused, absolute brick of delicious flavor, try the pollo chimi. The burritos are smaller and a lil cheaper than burritos you get at other fast food burrito places like Filiberto's, Los favoritos burritos, etc. They're not tiny but the perfect size for people like me and my kids who don't have huge appetites. Good variety of tacos as well as some sides of corn, quesadillas and beans n cheese. They also have a couple healthy wrap options (turkey and bacon with egg whites) which not sure why you would get a wrap at a burrito place. But I guess if you have a friend come along and they don't like burritos? Lols I got the mole - shredded chicken cooked in sweet & spicy chocolate adobado sauce. I love mole and this was pretty food. But I realized I prefer eating this with rice and eggs instead of in a tortilla. Flour tortilla was yummy and homemade. My kids had the bacon and hash burrito, ate it all up so they def liked it. Her warmth truly made the evening feel more personal and enjoyable. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, and while the restaurant wasn't very busy, the wait time for our food was noticeably long. With a party of 11, I understand it can be challenging, but the food came out very sporadically. Some of us had finished eating before others even received their plates, which was disappointing. As for the food, most of it was tasty, but the shrimp enchiladas were lacking sauce and cheese on the inside, which was unexpected. Good looking presentation with large cubes of red Chile . The enchilada style worth the charge smothered with enchilada sauce cheese and surrounded with extra cheese , guacamole, and sour cream . The salsa was good not hot and different looking chips but fresh .Only one salsa cup to share and no side dish so had to " double dip" chips. Should have asked for side plates in retrospect. Owners were super friendly and nice. I ordered 3 carne asada, 1 Pollo, 1 adobada, 1 Birria, 1 cabeza, 1 meat quesadilla, 1 karamelo King and a Sonora Hotdog. Only three items weren't mine. HahAll the tacos were fantastic, flavorful and juicy not over cooked meat. The only thing I was sad about was that it was all so juicy that my tortillas were all soggy. Eventhough I only drove five minutes away to eat at my boyfriends place. But maybe if I sat there and ate, it wouldn't have happened. The Karamelo was delicious, I've never had a quesadilla that had beans, onions and avocado in it. So many flavors going on! Sonora Hotdog was said to be some of the best so I ordered as is, eventhough I typically don't like mustard. But where ever they get their hotdog and buns from, the salty and the sweet along with the mustard and everything else meld so well together I was in awe. It was wonderful!Their little salsa bar was fantastic too, everything was fresh and sauces were yum!I honestly didn't think I would spend $68 with tip, but I did and I have no regrets at all.Everything I didn't finish I drove back to Gilbert with me and ate it on the way home.
