"Came in to this place for lunch and work- which was great because they had wifi. The place itself is decorated with middle eastern vibes/modern- cute. The place wasn't super busy and the service by the man at the front was kind and tentative. I ordered a platter to try a couple of things and I was very happy with it. The meat was cooked just right- not over done or anything"
"I come here sometimes if I don't bring lunch when I'm occasionally in the office. This gyro spot opened up recently, maybe a few months ago. It's great! My favorite item is the spicy gyro- the one called piccado. Very nice, it has jalapeño peppers for a nice spice. The firefighter one is very similar but has grilled red peppers instead. Both good. Service seems to have sped up since the first few times I went, it was very new back then. The staff is friendly. The place is clean and has plenty of seating. I just noticed the second level of seating today so my coworker and I ate up there. It's perfect as an office lunch spot so I wouldn't come out here unless at work, but if you're in this area at one of the nearby offices, or live nearby it's a great option for a quick and tasty meal. Didn't go crazy with photos, just a few from my meal today."

"Yelpers,Add this Greek restaurant to your try list. I had the shrimp with rice, humans, & a salad. Very tasty, rice was ok. I had take out, called and was ready as I was told"
"Such a cute place! I ordered the Vegan Wrap and it was really good. Big portion size and lots of fresh ingredients. I thought it was a tad dry, so next time I'll ask for extra dressing or hummus. Looking forward to trying all the vegan options!"
"This place was really good. Loved my pita sandwich. Next time I'm getting hummus on the side to add to it. The spicy hummus was my favorite. We also got falafels that were fresh and delicious. The chicken was okay but I prefer the gyro meat and kabob! They were getting pretty busy when we were there too."
"I recently grabbed a build-your-own bowl for lunch, and it was ready in no time. I went with cilantro white rice, mesquite salmon, black beans, and street corn--absolutely delicious! The flavors were fresh and well balanced.I also picked up a Corazón Cooler to go. While it was still tasty, it seemed noticeably smaller than the one I had when dining at the restaurant."
"Great food.Service is very good!Ambiance is good, close small indoors seating but nice, great outdoor dining! The future of parking is questionable with apartments opening across the street.I always enjoy!!!!"
"Had a lovely Valentine's Day dinner at Istanbul. They do not take reservations, so we decided to take our chances and show up on a holiday. The wait was only 20 minutes and went by very quickly. They have table seating and bar seating available. The portion sizes are large and the food is delicious. I ordered the Doner Platter with lamb and beef, rice, and a salad. It came out on a large plate filled with food. The meat had a ton of flavor. I didn't want to stop eating and enjoy all the flavors happening on my palette. This was a delightful restaurant with great food and friendly service!"
"Location: Off the main road on Oracle Road.Across the street from the Hampton InnParking: Private parking lot in small plazaFood: Fantastic food with authentic Bosnian recipes and flavors. You cannot replicate nor duplicate food like this anywhere else in Tucson, or likely outside of the Balkan region. If you are unsure, just ask the wait staff as they are very knowledgeable and impartial. Prices: Reasonable prices with small market inside that sells Bosnian goods and treats. Overall: 5- star, I think this place is a Tucson icon and one of the best places to eat."
"The food was fresh and was pretty good. I got the chicken shawarma salad and it was huge (for over 10$ it should at least be that, mind you!) with a very nice portion of meat and salad and veggies. It was very filling.I didn't look at the menu (gasp!) before arriving and was a bit caught off guard once I was inside looking at the menu while being so very very hungry (the girl at the front counter seemed indifferent to my questions). I had just made a long drive from the other side of town to this side of town and really wanted beef shawarma but they only had chicken shawarma. The ambiance is good, clean place, efficient but nicely decorated. I think the staff could've been friendlier but that's minor at this point."
"Mary had a little lamb and shared the shank with jon...and everywhere that Mary went, jon brought his fork along. Have been here many times as the food prepared by Chef Azad is a delicious culinary feast. One can see and smell the freshly prepared aromatic cuisine upon walking in. Always on the premises cooking, preparing, overseeing it all, is Chef Azad making certain food and excellent service is spot on. Plates ordered since finding this hidden gem:The *lamb shank plate is amazing! A large shank so tender, moist, and delicious with bountiful rice and salad to accompany any size hunger. *Chicken Schwarma filled with flavor cut right off the turning rotisserie. *Gyro plate so tantalizing makes you want more!*Large Greek Salad comes overflowing with goodies. Please see the photos of delightful goodies!Have always ordered to-go but I love seeing families dining in this cozy restaurant.Easy to find with plenty of parking. Enjoy!"
"This restaurant serves delicious and very affordable Mediterranean Food. I ordered the Lamb Chops and Gyro Salad. Both meals had incredible flavor, and the portion sizes were enormous. The staff were very helpful and friendly, I highly recommend this restaurant."

Tried Niro Gyros for lunch this week and ordered the gyro lunch combo. My colleague mentioned how good this place was when he use to work near this location. The food came out good and service was too. Lots of seating but not super busy inside for lunch. A lot of folks seemed to be ordering to go.

We've watched this place develop over the past few months and finally had a chance to come have dinner. Met Danny and Dennis, brothers and owners. Their parents own the other location in Tempe. Danny said it took about a year to get the place up and running. It's bigger than you think! They have a whole upstairs space set up for dining as well and you can fit a good size group for dining. You are met with a huge wall mural of Chicago on the main wall, which is awesome. The family is from Chicago! They have a big menu with many of the traditional Greek foods. We decided to split the Supreme Plate, which comes with steak, chicken, and gyro meat. The steak and chicken are grilled to perfection with the perfect amount of seasoning to bring out the juiciness of the meat. And their gyro meat is awesome! Long strips of perfectly cooked lamb and beef, cut from their huge loafs of cooked meat. The plate comes with some choices and we had the rice and chose the lentil soup and then ordered a separate side of Greek fries and Greek salad. Ok, so I already talked about the wonderful meats...the rice! OMgosh...the rice is cooked to perfection with seasonings that include sumac, which was so yummy. And the lentil soup? Ok, so we are officially hooked on the soup! It has a light curry-like flavor and almost reminded us of pea soup but it's made with lentils. Thick and creamy with bits of lentils and seasonings throughout. I think this soup will become a regular thing in our home! The plate is also topped with onions and tomato chunks, sprinkled with paprika I believe. Danny said the onions are seasoned with some lemon juice I think? My wife loved them and said they were so much better than the pickled ones you typically see. We had two pieces of warmed pita which was soft and perfect to wrap your meat into. The garlic sauce was great...just the perfect amount of garlic to make a tasty sauce and not knock you over! The salad is fresh, covered with feta, green bell peppers, and a tomato slice and the Greek dressing is fresh and good. We actually brought the salad home! The Greek fries were cooked to fried perfection, sprinkled with feta and comes with some of that delicious Greek dressing, which I poured about half the container on mine. So, so yummy!Their baklava is perfect! You are given a good portion and it isn't too sweet or soaked in tons of honey. It's buttery, just a tad of sweetness and crunchy with the chopped pistachios. Overall we have to give a 5 star review for this place. It's incredible and awesome and I hope they do well in the location. They are surrounded by businesses so their lunch crowd should grow in time...especially when word-of-mouth spreads. Our favorite new Greek place! Thank you so much Danny for talking with us and we wish you and your brother the best of luck! You deserve it!

This place was so good, I came back twice before writing a review! I ordered the Gyro Platter both times and they were delicious both times. I'm not usually a hummus girl, but their hummus was so creamy and tasteful. The house green sauce that comes with the platter is incredible. I want that sauce with everything! I also ordered the Beef Shawarma Fries which was spectacular. Although it had too much onions for me, they had shoestring fries which is the best. We received complimentary baklava since they had grand opening the next day. It was good and flaky. Overall, would definitely be returning as this is my go-to place if I'm in the area.

Pro-tips: If you're placing an order online, do not do it through Yelp, which is through GrubHub because there's an up charge. Instead, just go to the Spitz website and order directly from them.Highlights: I am a huge spitz fan! I've had them in several states and I was so excited to see one in my hometown. The food is delicious! I love the flavor combinations and the healthyish ingredients. You can't go wrong with the street cart wrap. Compared to a lot of similar Mediterranean casual places, Spitz is a much better value.Lowlights: I don't love traveling to downtown Chandler because of the traffic and limited parking, so I do wish it was in another location.

Really clean, open, and bright atmosphere with very friendly staff. I ordered the build your own plate, shawarma(chicken),steak, baba ghanoush, and spicy humus. Paid $23 All of it was very good! The baba ghanoush has a strong smoky flavor to it, which I love but might not be for everyone. The spicy humus is really tasty, not spicy at all though. Love the shawarma and steak! The pita is also really soft and has a solid flavor you would expect. Really great spot for a more healthy quick option. Just feel like it's a tad on the expensive side.

We had dinner at CharroVida to check out their new menu, and enjoyed our meal of both some old favorites and new options. We started with chips and salsa, then had Brussels and Shishitos, Yuca Street Fries, and the Pollo Al Pastor. It was all delicious! I, for one, am very enamored of the yuca fries here. They're satisfyingly crispy like thinner French fries, but have the earthy heartiness of a wedge cut potato. Topped with chickpea chorizo, peppers, and onions? That's a can't-miss combo! The Pollo Al Pastor is a huge portion of chicken, so bring your appetite! The new dinner entrees are pricier than the old menu, but the portions and quality are definitely there.

This is our go-to spot for food anytime we drive through Globe. The burgers are fresh and incredibly flavorful and the fries are exactly what you want to add to the meal. The outdoor patio has an eclectic mesh of Mario and Star Wars (search for some hidden gems hiding in the rafters)! Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food does take longer than fast food, but it is well worth the wait!

Our first time here, we were greeted and seated right away. And our server came to get our orders. They have good service and we came in at the right time, a few minutes after we were seated, tables were getting occupied. Our service informed us that food will take a few minutes, which is not unusual, because they are freshly made. It's obvious that people come here for good food, I have seen a lot of people picking up food to go. Our food came and they have pretty big portions. And everything was delicious! I wish we have enough room for dessert! They have a few on their menu and it looked delicious! Place is clean and well organized. No fancy decoration but it's nice inside. The only negative here is their parking, is a bit tight, when you have a big car/truck.

"We had the good fortune of visiting Passagio this last weekend for our anniversary. Years ago when this was Primo we had our 1 year anniversary there and a few others. It was one of our favorite places in Tucson. This year as a reconnection to those prior anniversaries we decided to try Passagio, and it exceeded our expectations.First, we were very lucky to find ourselves at the same table of our first anniversary. While we did pay the $20 to make sure we had a window seat, we did not know which one we would get and we got "our corner". The extra cost was worth it to us for a special events. The decor is now more Italian than French, but just as relaxed and elegant. The staff were amazing. Our waitress, Maria, was extraordinary. She was excited that we were having our anniversary there and was gracious and celebratory. She actually had several tables with special events and she treated everyone with the same joy and dedication. We even took pictures with different groups of us.The food also held up to our expectations. We had the bruschetta to start. All were delicious but we loved the pear and Gorgonzola. It was sweet and tart.Next we had a Kale salad and a Beet Salad. Again, the preparation for each was perfect. The kale was prepared correctly so it was easy to eat and the beets were fresh. The flavors were well balanced, nothing was over dressed, you could taste the actual salad, and everything was fresh. For the main course we had the Venison and the Scollop pasta. The venison melted in your mouth and the herbs and greens brought a freshness to the dish. Squid ink pasta can get chewy and rubbery as can Scollops. Both were wonderfully prepared. The scollops also melted in our mouths and the pasta was perfectly aldente and paired nicely with the scollops. Finally, we shared the hazelnut and chocolate desert with caramel gelato. I am not a big fan of chocolate so I loved the added hazelnut and the caramel gelato was something I could not stop eating. Just enough salt to make you want more. My spouse loves chocolate and found it a celebration of chocolate. For drinks, they had a nice selection of Scotch which is our go to drink. The wine list paired nicely with the meal, and I tried their version of an old fashioned which was perfectly balanced and beautiful tonlooOverall, the meal, the service, the ambiance were all excellent. The chef and team have done an excellent job of establishing themselves as a well respected fine dining addition to the Tucson scene."
"Decided to go to Pita Jungle after church. Weather was perfect so we opted to dine outside. Our waitress Madison was very attentive and friendly. I wanted the grilled portobello mushroom burger but didn't get it as they were out of French Fries. Ended up getting the wood-fired cauliflower taco and the large cilantro jalapeño hummus. It was delicious but a bit disappointing as there was no spice/bite to it. Besides my bite!"
"I went with the gyro and it was fantastic. The meat was flavorful and moist. The pita bread and sauce were very flavorful as well. My table was a little dirty from the previous guest so hopefully they can check the dining area more frequently in the future."
"We came for dinner on a Saturday night and was seated quickly. I think there was 1 other table besides us.We ordered the mega mix plate with a side of french fries. Everything was so delicious! Their french fries have a light coating to them and were fried to perfection. The variety of meats we got was super excellent as well. It was enough food to feed the 3 of us. Overall, great service and delicious food. They have a buy 2 get 1 shawarma free on their menu and I can't wait to come back and try it out!"
"I wish I had taken a photo before I tore into this amazing meal. My husband and daughter got beef and chicken shawarma. They were both very delicious. I got the beef shawarma plate, which was a huge portion and very delicious. I prefer this place over any of the chain restaurants. The meat was seasoned to perfection, and the hummus changed me. I will never eat store bought again! We will certainly be back."
"Great babaganoush super garlickyWonderful hummusGreat for a vegan like me!!!Really nice people working hard in a trailer"
"Hubs and I worked up an appetite after watching a movie nearby. We decided to check out Phoenicia Cafe. We were greeted and seated right away. The space itself is quite spacious and bright, with plenty of available seating. We ordered the following:Arabic coffee $4.99Shrimp ghallaba $18.99Gyros pita $10.99Baklava $2.99The coffee was fantastic. It was strong and unique. I really liked it. My entrée was the shrimp ghallaba which had shrimp, peppers, onions, tomatoes, carrots and rice and hummus. It was flavorful. The portion was quite generous, and I had to take some of it to-go. Hubs had the gyro and he said it was okay. Before leaving, I just had to try the baklava - we ordered it to-go and proceeded to eat it in the car on the way home. It was delicious! In fact, we wished we had ordered two!"
"We came here for my dad's 77 bday!It was the middle of the day and we had a very large party. All of our meals were really good, the wait staff did a fantastic job, and were super friendly. The only issue we had is they had a drink menu out and no bartender! We'll be back."
"My boyfriend has been wanting to check our this place for awhile. It's definitely a unique experience. We got the Special Mams. The food was delicious, I like the presentation and flavors. The service was a little slow but to be fair there was quite a bit of people. My only "complaint" was they got a dish wrong and also I was they would of explained what we were getting on the tray.Other than that this place was good!"
"I grew up in the middle east and their falafel balls are the closest to what I ate growing up and probably my favorite I tried in the US. Fluffy and perfectly seasoned."
"As a repeat customer, the gyro sandwiches here are wonderful. Ambience, cleanliness, and service are also consistently good. I eat here twice per month - and have never been disappointed. The Greek Salad that accompanies the gyro is always clean and crisp with just the right amount of dressing. I need to make it over for the belly dancing shows, but until then, a special thank you to Shish Kebab House for being in my opinion the best Gyro in town!"
"Pleasantly surprised with this little gem! I was able to order ahead and pull through their drive through which made it super easy to get during lunch time. The quality of the meat was very good and the gyro was filling and delicious. We also ordered the baba ghanoush which was equally as fresh and delicious. This is a great spot in the east valley for Mediterranean."
"Good lunch spot-great service since the restaurant was packed & they were short staffed! We ate outdoors under a helpful umbrella. Nice atmosphere but sorta spendy for what you get...but how many times can you eat some great food outdoors in Tubac?"
"Omg can't say enough about how amazing this new place Mandy's Wine Bar is!! Everything was delicious. 1) Bruschetta was amazing. 2) Caesar salad was phenomenal. Never have I seen my husband so excited to eat a salad 3) Hubby got lasagna 4) I got mushroom & cauliflower orzo6) The hibiscus tonic was fresh & light7) Look at the in the cappuccino 8) Lemon tart dessert was perfectionDecor was chic & beautiful. The customer service was attentive & thoughtful. I highly recommend and will definitely be back... often!"
"We ate here the first night in the area. We had the basic gyros and the baklava. The gyros were priced similarly to most Greek restaurants. The size of the gyros was large. Definitely got our money's worth. The staff was ver personable. The restaurant is decorated in a modern vacation-like motif. Very clean. The baklava was decent. I'm not a connoisseur of baklava. We are in the area for the winter. We plan on visiting again soon."
"This might be my new favorite spot! The restaurant is small and intimate, the staff is absolutely amazing and the food is beyond my expectation. We got the chefs board, tilapia, chili, stuffed with cheese, the steak and then shared the Sunday for dessert. Everything was perfect and we were all thrilled with our meal. Can't wait to come back."
"There are a lot of restaurants that don't transfer their awesome qualities in a "to go" order, it's a calculated risk patrons take. In this family run business, our risk paid off deliciously. Mediterranean menus are daunting and I am the least educated on this flavor platform, but my gosh, if you love good food, beautiful flavors and healthy eating, put this place on your happy map!We are making more thoughtful choices in our food these days with our fitness, health and just wanting to feel good- the hummus alone, was a reason to keep coming back! The meats are all sumptuous the salads, fresh, breads, perfectly done rice, we ordered many items to try, check pics!"
"What a great place to visit! They make all kinds of infused olive oil's and have tons of samples. Inside they have a coffee shop, gelato, desserts, all kinds of drinks, and hot food made to order. I ordered stromboli, Oh my gosh it was sooooo good. The dough is homemade, best dough I've ever tasted, the ingredients wowza!!! My eyes rolled back into my head the whole time I was eating it I mean my knees are still weak in pure ecstasy. I also got a tiramisu gelato, wow was it good!"
"Greek salads & gyros are our favorite here! Authentic Greek food. So yummy! Only complaint is you get a very small container of dressing for a large salad and to get a second small container, are $1 each. A little high for such a small amount. However it won't stop us from going back!!"
"I really enjoy eating at Urban Pita's downtown restaurant so when I found out there was a location closer to me, I got super excited! The food tastes so good. The hummus platter with meat is my go to. So delicious! The service was very good. One time I went, I thought I had placed an online order but it didn't go through. They got my order in and my food was ready pretty quickly! Very clean restaurant. It's close enough to work that it's now in my regular lunch rotation!"
"Why is mediterranean food so satisfying?? Happy to have a new gyro place nearby and we are not disappointed! Thursdays are usually a take-out night for us and finally saw this place up on doordash!Upon delivery, food was still hot and fresh (kudos to the driver). Our order consisted of gyro, Greek fries, and the chicken and kabob plate. The gyro was very good and the tzatziki sauce really balanced the fattiness of the meat. My only wish was that it was never-ending!The kabob and chicken plate was also very satisfying; the rice was perfect, chicken was not dry, and the kabob was tender!Top notch spot worth trying!"
"Great flavor and sear on a single Adana Wrap lamb/beef spiced minced meat skewer with greens in warmed pita $16.95 with handful of frozen fries, picked sauce, and tbsp of dressed spring leaves. Not the best value Same for $6.95 appetizer of Baba ganouj with a warmed commercial white flatbread. After asking for the check a small snifter of hot black tea is served for free, it's very good.4 for flavor, 2.5 for value. Maybe entrees are better. There was a $11.95 lunch until 3pm with free salad fries for students only, but we were past that and left school 35yrs ago haha"
"My new favorite Mediterranean restaurant! You pay at the front and then servers bring food to you. They even gave us free baklava. Food is a great value and tastes fresh. Good variety of options and quick service. Indoor/outdoor seating with a family casual vibe. Come to the west valley please!"
