"Been here twice now, 1st time for HH with a group of ladies and again last Wednesday with some out-of-town friends.Ordered the infamous Jack Rabbit cocktail and made my friend get one, too. I thought that they only had appetizers on their menu and we didn't want to eat big. They and the hub all ordered sandwiches. I ordered the hot wings which were great plus the parmesan fries. Their fries are these curly wedge things which if you get the end of the potato you get a super crispy fry. Not really a fan of the curry-infused ketchup so was sparing with my dip. The bartender/server was really friendly and funny.Love the ambiance and for a dive bar, it doesn't smell like 70 years ago. On my first visit there was a band playing very apropo music. This has quickly become one of my new faves...easy, good, and close."
"Unfortunately the restaurant is not near any attractions/businesses so it was never busy during the 2 meals i had there. I guess the majority of customers are from the nearby hotel which is a shame. People are missing out.Good food at good prices and very friendly and efficient service.Life is not fair knowing I've had worse food & service at more popular locations at higher prices, there is no God.Besides the regular menu items, they also make the efforts to have daily specials. They're keeping it real"
"The Prema Lounge is located in the lobby of the Casino Del Sol Resort. I would come to this lounge even if I wasn't staying at the hotel. The ambiance is wonderful with super cool large chairs, a large fireplace and overall beautiful decor. The Happy Hour Special is AWESOME. On weekdays from 4p-7p, all drinks and cheeseburgers are available at excellent prices. The cheeseburger we ordered was the 'Prema Burger ' was HUGE and dei"
"Great to finally be back on the Yelp-osphere! I HAD to do Edge as my first review back! This bar is AMAZING. First off this has become my regular spot to go with friends on the weekdays. David does Karaoke all weekday long and has the voice of an angel! (Really though a halo pops up and a choir sings backup during his songs.) he always seems so happy to see us and puts our songs in without even needing them written down! Bulldog the bouncer is wonderful and makes my day every time I see him. He always walks us to our car to make sure we don't get wisked away in the dark by strange men! He keeps the bar so safe I never worry about anything but having a good time. All the bartenders are magnificent, but Christina is our favorite! She is drop dead perfect and is the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She also does great pours which is much appreciated. I love seeing the regular crowd like Arturo and my man man Bam-bam. I'm not into the band dive bar scene so I don't go weekend nights because I prefer downtown, but weekdays this is exactly what I need to relax after work and have a good time. It's pretty dimly lit inside so don't get to drunk or you'll end up on the floor."
"You can be sitting in the back patio at night while a local band plays... or sitting inside staring at amazing art hanging on the walls and 4th avenue patrons walking by. Either way, I always feel right at home.Great staff, always efficient, no matter how busy or slow. I do prefer it, when it is slower. As a true dive bar, they have a $5 liquor menu all day long and yet they also have a trademark delicious fresh watermelon drink. What more could you ask for."
"Really had a great first visit here. Chatted with lots of locals, enjoyed some excellent meatballs, drank almost an entire bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, and found a great bottle of wine to take home."
"The ominous blue lights and dim, narrow driveway make The Nugget feel like some seedy saloon where you're bound to get into trouble. Once you're in, you realize it's a pretty quiet neighborhood sports bar full of dorky old billiards enthusiasts.Very narrow beer menu, but bartenders have a few classic (and stiff!) cocktails, which they execute well. Sometimes, they'll give you a little bowl of nuts or chips or something while you're watching the game. They have pool tables, and no shortage of folks willing to play on them. I'm talking about the type who bring their own adorned and customized cues and take the game seriously. Maybe there's a type of club meeting here? Anyway, there are plenty of people of all ages here and they all have a good time. When I want to go out, but I don't want to travel downtown, this is a reliable stop."
"This experience was a mixed bag of tricks. I arrived on a Saturday evening with a church group of 20. There was a sign on the door stating the debit machine was down and they were cash only just then. Some of us had to get cash from the ATM incuring a service fee. In the past they let us arrange the tables to accommodate a large group. Today the waitress said we couldn't do that. The place was practically empty and wouldn't have inconvenienced any other customers. Once we got our drink order placed, another woman came out to take our order. She asked why we didn't group the tables and we told her what the waitress had said. She told us she was the boss and that we could group the tables. By then we were seated at two different tables already and remained that way. After about 20 minutes our food began coming out a couple plates at a time. It took about 10 minutes to get the whole order out. One order was wrong and had to be remade. We were served on Styrofoam plates with plastic silverware. I ordered a tostada/enchilada combo. The tostada was perfect. It was loaded with refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded cheese. The enchiladas were shredded beef rolled up in a flour tortilla smothered in enchilada sauce and covered with shredded cheese. The dish was served with rice and refried beans. The beans were average. The rice was perfect. The enchiladas were very tasty. I loved the sauce. The tortilla was a little tough making it hard to cut with the plastic knife. The shredded beef was tender and juicy. Pros: the food is pretty good, the price is reasonable, and the portions are generous.Cons: not the greatest place for a large group, ambiance is not that great, and the restroom is shared with the bar next door. The bathroom was not very clean and the dispenser was out of paper towels.Bye the way the order that had to be remade came out just as we were finishing up so he had to it to go."
"Cool spot. The sound could be better, you can hear parts of the building rattle when the music is loud. The food and drink were pretty good. I got the Mexican Chocolate Old Fashioned and this twist on a classic cocktail was great. The chocolate wasn't too sweet and everything else went well together. The elote had good flavor, but was over cooked. Some of the parts were mushy. This could have been due to being a slow night or still working out their kitchen."
"It's a bar be it a little one. Have the Jell-O shots. That's their thing. Friendly staff, and a great story to tell."

Me and my girl came around 10:30 pm on Halloween. The vibes were fun and friendly. Kitchen closes at 11pm, Monday-Thursday. Anything you want you have to order from the bar whether food or drinks. We ordered pina coladas which were nice and strong and delicious!!! I ordered the Korean meatballs which were great; they're shareable and the flavor is gingery, spices and sweet. My friend ordered the chicken katsu sandwich, which she really enjoyed. They were doing karaoke which was awesome so many people signed up and it was a really fun night. I would absolutely come back. They're open 4pm to 2am everyday. It's nice having a spot like this in Tucson, we needed it!!!!

Hadn't been here in the 3 years since it's been remodeled. It is way more aesthetically pleasing now. The food is great and they didn't mind my low carb requests. I got two scrambled REAL eggs and 3 perfectly fried bacon strips. The teenager got a yogurt fruit bowl and the granola was served on the side...she has no real complaints other than her usual nagging. Lol. My a la carte selections were a $1 each- def not bad & the granola, yogurt & fruit bowl was just $5. We ended up taking the yogurt Bowl to go and were provided a sturdy little plastic container with a lid and plastic ware without request. So you can visualize the restaurant a little bit better you walk in, seat yourself, you can choose from booths, tables, or sitting at the bar. We chose the bar cuz I had a pretty fancy marblesque top. The color scheme is pretty awesome ranges from bright yellow, pale yellow, to tan. It sounds kind of weird but it goes extremely well. One of the cooks in the back explained that it must have been three years since I've been there because I was taking pictures and he wondered what I was doing. I told him I hadn't been there since the remodel. He explained everything that had been updated including the bar we were sitting at and the bathroom right next door. It's pretty brand-spanking-new from the floors to the ceiling. Had great but simple decor I wish I could take it home LOL.

For some reason I always gravitate to this lounge. I don't know if it's because the ambience, or because the bartenders make fantastic cocktails. Must be both. Stop and say hi to Adrienne and she'll make you the BEST Cosmo. They Also have a really good burger.

An open letter to the sassy b that sang "Ice Ice Baby" during karaoke,Thank you for letting me smack yo booty (I think you were into it, don't lie) and I was thoroughly impressed with your moves. ..... This is a good, solid dive. Not the luxurious swan dive, more of a ... one knee down on the side of the deck cause you're just learning how to swim kind of dive. Those kind of dives are way more fun anyway!

Despite being a well known dive bar on 4th ave, I hadn't been here until very recently. Upon entering, I already knew I was going to like it. With red and blue mood lighting and a packed yet peaceful vibe, I was immediately loving it.We snagged the last two seats at the bar and ordered a watermelon margarita with a tahin rim. The drink was strong and packed with flavor. Definitely didn't need a second one which was fine by me! Overall, a great experience - would stop by again on a night out!

The service and vibe/decor is a solid 9/10 but the drink i was served was WEAK. I came here already a little flush but i was hoping for a better drink especially since i asked to be surprised (. Still, this is certainly a spot/place to be. They got the hookup on Banh Mi too from Banhdicted!

I was on my way back from Kearny Arizona and decided to stop in to buy some tortillas because I've heard so many good things about them.Very short interaction with the cashier but she seemed to be very nice. The restaurant was clean and there was a nice size crowd there for a Monday afternoon on a holiday.I will definitely be giving them a try the next time I am driving through for dinner or lunch. As far as the tortillas go they were fresh and still warm when I picked them up off the shelf. The taste was very good. These are extra large flour tortillas which I am not complaining about! My only complaint is that if you are using them for burritos they are just a little bit on the thin side and have a tendency to tear.

"So we came here for my "last meal", it's a long story but it's the last meal I'm going to be able to enjoy for a while. They were super busy for a Monday night. We enjoyed our night, the waitress kept apologizing for it taking so long but we never felt delayed during our dinner. There were several large parties that our waitress was handling and she didn't miss a beat. The staff did a great job and made the dinner a very enjoyable evening, we will definitely be back!"
"It's been years since going to this casino, wow things have changed for the better. I have to say I love the fact that it's smoke free at least for now. It's not overcrowded the machines and playing tables are spaced apart to give you ample walking room. The casino was so clean I was even impressed by the care and cleanliness of the restroom. The bar area is large and has a wide variety of beers and liquor and ver friendly bartenders. I also enjoyed the wide variety of games they offer, some I haven't seen at the other casino in town. I definitely have to visit more often, we had a great time."
"We sat on the lounge side. Tons of regulars- reminded me of the cheers bar where everyone knew each other. Portions are huge and this place is so affordable. The bar tender was very nice and attentive. Amazing location right off the highway. Everything was yummy and our plates were cleaned."
"Besides what others have said, Yes, this place is a winner. A true cocktail lounge experience. A few of us from town nearby went for the music & dancing, which is every Saturday night. Really want this place to make it!!!"
"Love Linda's! Weekends are a blast from Thursday- Saturday! Music by different DJs. The staff is friendly! Linda is Amazing! This really is a local bar where everyone is welcome! The bar seems like it is always open! The regulars are always nice to new comers! You should definitely give this place a try! One of my favorite places in town!"
"Tasty burger and seasonal salad with food from Hub, and fun holiday cocktails! Service was fast and attentive."
"Jason is the best bartender ever! He is personal and has been there for years! Food is pretty tasty too and priced well."
"Walking into The Shelter is like walking back in time. A beautiful 70s lounge vibe from the gold sparkle vinyl booths to the gorgeous retro lights. This is the place for anything from cheap drinks to fancy martinis. It feels like a group of Mad Men types would walk in any minute. Bartenders here are happy to make you whatever if you tell them your preferences as well which I appreciate. One downside is that there's no bar food. HOWEVER you can order delivery or hit the vending machine. The vending machine takes cash and card and has everything from chips & pretzels to M&Ms and even smokes and lighters. TLDR: the drinks are strong and the prices are low. Vending machine in the back.IYKYK: Happy Hour is until 7pm and it is a blanket 50cents off drinks."
"I liked it--another lil alley bar to have been able to check out. On a Saturday night, it was still pretty chill although there was a DJ spinning some tracks. But lots of space, lots of uh, CO2 spewing out of the walls (it adds to the whole effect, haha), and generally a good place to go out with friends for a drink or two."
"Amazing cocktails and a chill vibe, the space is cozy but lovely and the service was great."
"Decent tap selection and friendly enough service. But only three stars bc the men's room had no soap and they allow smoking on the outdoor patio."
"Food service second to none - friendly and attentive! Menu covers all normal Mexican dishes. Although quite busy it was a very enjoyable experience!"
"Great bar and hangout location in downtown Tucson great music, friendly staff amazing drinks had an amazing time on St. Patrick's Day with family and friends. The music was beating and the drinks were flowing. Enjoy coming to hang out here. It's always a blast.Perfect place for a group of friends always plenty of room in the courtyard. With the variety of music being played, it's great for all to enjoy from old school to new school.."
"My husband and I have lived in Tucson for several years and had never been here! We stumbled upon this place on a busy Saturday night. The dim lighting and speakeasy vibes, coupled with the highly entertaining and hilarious bartenders Cassandra and Robert made this a unique and special experience. I got the Flumph which is their take on a mimosa. It was a delight and I appreciated the hints orange blossom. My husband got the Cloak of Rohan which was orange bitter forward and a definite "sipper," as it was very strong. When we noticed they had yellow chartreuse (a rare liquor find), we ordered a cocktail off the menu called Naked & Famous. A lesser known cocktail, but Cassandra was able to make it and it was our favorite drink of the night. One last thing to note is that both bartenders are creative experts in craft cocktail making and we're serving up "dealers choice" drinks all night which were unique. If you're open to trying something innovative, this is the place to check out! (Just let them know if you have any specific liquor preferences)"
"Love this place! I like going to see my friend play and sing on Sunday nights when there is no football. Owners are great and I know most of the bar staff. Very much a cheers bar. Pizza is awesome! As is the rest of the food from what I hear. It can be noisy at times but it's a bar so it's to be expected."
