"It's been a few years since I've been here, because I had moved but recently came back to the area. Sunnyside was one of my favourite places for breakfast/brunch. Unfortunately, when I cam back to this location, the service we received was quite awful. There may have only been on server on a weekday morning, but initially there were only three tables occupied at the time we were making our order. The server misinterpreted our order and only brought us a single side item instead of the meal with the side we asked for. Without checking on us, the server then just gave us the bill. We noticed the bill only had one item, so we waited for him to come back and pointed out that we actually ordered a meal. The server was not apologetic and instead insinuated it was our fault for misleading him. When the meal finally came up, he did not bring us any extra plates to help us share, which we did specify we were going to do when we ordered both the first and second time we placed the order. Our server also never bothered to come back and offer us an extra plate while we were eating and clearly having trouble over one plate. We were so put off but the poor service that we did not want to trouble our server more by asking for additional plates. It seemed like every request we made was met with a literal sigh. The food and coffee were admittedly very good, so props to kitchen for that, but the service that day was appalling. We still tried to be friendly, but our server still could not give us the time of day."
"Stopped in for coffee. Counter service. Super friendly guy. Delicious coffee, reasonably priced. They must sell sandwiches or something here, because it smelled amazing in there... not coffee, it was garlic or something. I'm sure their food is really good too. Comfortable seating. Glad we stopped."
Add sr toppings: strawberries, blueberries, chocolate chips, walnuts, bananas, nutella, berry sauce, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, bavarian cream, chocolate fudge for an additional charge.

"Great value for delicious sandwiches. My husband and I split and shared a chicken and a bbq pork bahn mi. Each one was equally yummy. Got all the toppings including some fresh jalapeno. Can't wait to go back again soon.I think it would be perfect if they had a little more help . Just one friendly staff person was working hard to keep up with the orders. It was a weekend and perhaps we were there when there was a bit of a rush at lunchtime."
"This is one of my go-to boba spots. They have many flavors and toppings to choose from but I love the Jasmine Milk Tea best. Their online ordering system it top-notch. Many times I order en route and as soon as I arrive my order is ready to go. They also support veterans. I was able to get a free drink on Veterans Day! That means a lot!"
"So we were going for sushi and this was on our route and switched it up and decided to give this place a try. I love anything healthy and protein I love. This place got it out of the park for us. From the service the staff were very friendly welcoming and helpful in helping us make choices and knowledgeable of what they had to offer. The ambiance was nice and very clean as well. Music was perfect level so we could still have conversations with each other and not have to shout. We would love if they came to Cali and opened one up by us. It would be my go to place for sure . I had the Sexy bowl which is with salmon avocado and all the other veggies I love. I was very satisfied with mine and would definitely suggest it if you like salmon. The flavors were perfect with their sauces , my husband got the new GFB Burger and my husband loved it as well. He loves pickles and they added pickles naturally my husband described it as they replaces the lettuce with pickles so he was in heaven he also did a side salad in place of a side. The dressing was delicious as well, my daughter made her own chicken bowl as she liked and was very satisfied with hers as well and my granddaughter ordered her own kids chicken bowl with sweet potatoes and enjoyed hers. She dipped away in their version of thousand island and she seemed to like it. So yes I would recommend this place for sure. So this will be our go to place when visiting Arizona in the future ."
"Love this place. Great vibes & even better coffee. Local goods too always adds a nice touch."
"As stated by my 15 year old expert in Acai cuisine, this place is fantastic. They handled substitutions perfectly and the service was helpful. Kahuna Koffee smoothie was rich and nutty. The Blue Hawaii bowl with spirulina was delicious."
"Great boba spot with good options like the Taro milk tea or Brown Sugar milk teaCute little tables and good service"
"You can read my review of their old account when they were on Kolb before the landlord decided to get rid of them and put in....a Starbucks. Yeah, we don't have enough Starbucks around here.First of all, in the column of sample reviews to my right, someone says that "they have cut the donuts in half the size they used to be." Blatantly incorrect. They are the same size as they used to be. All still the same heavenly goodness they have been."K" is her name, the owner. What a nice new shop they have. Brightly lit, more tables, more room, more room for them behind the counter, larger display cases. Now about their donuts--these ARE the best in Tucson, period. Change my mind. I've had everybody's donuts in Tucson. These are the best. There are several that are a close second. But none that match these delectable beauties.Their glazed donuts are so light and fluffy, melt-in-your mouth. Krispy Kremes dream of being this good. The Boston Cremes are a delight. Everyone that I have given one two immediately goes "Mmmmm...." on their first bite. The chocolate and maple long johns, emphasis on "long," are so good. I am not an apple fritter fan--except for theirs.Let's not forget their croissants. Their breakfast croissant is to die for. The ham and cheese croissant--yum! The pastry is SO flaky. And it is BIG.Sometimes it takes a little long to get your order filled. Here's why: * They are popular and have a line in the store and in the drive-thru. * It might be one of those shifts where Kay could not hire enough help and it's just her or just her and another employee. It's worth the wait.It is totally "mind-blowing good":5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money.4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business.3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it.2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money.1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!"
"Came here during our visit to Tucson. It was quite late (around 8pm) and the kids wanted a treat. We got an egg waffle dessert and I got the passion fruit green tea. The egg waffle dessert was spectacular and the drink was good. The place was pretty bare as decor goes and everything was self order. The owner was helpful and nice though."
"Came by the first time and ordered an Açaí bowl that was spot on! Place is super cute and the girl, I think Sophie, was super nice, polite, attentive and made our night."
"Great variety of smoothie options. Friendly and fast employees. Pretty low key afternoon made the store relaxing for us first timers reading through the menu. We will definitely return!"

I can't say enough Sunny Sunnyside Café has an awesome breakfast served daily. I normally get either the Chimi supreme or the cinnamon roll pancakes eggs, and bacon. Service is always awesome. The place is kind of the old café vibe. Try it out you'll love it.

Loved, loved, loved my experience here! Stopped by in the morning after a train ride and the Dave Sandwich hit the spot! Was thankful they put the Tapatio on the side since I don't tolerate spice well. The Azteca Mocha was delicious -- not too sweet, subtly cinnamony. Thr employees were just so kind -- felt so welcomed after my long trip. I honestly wish I had spent more time enjoying this space!

Just had the BBQ pork banh mi.The pork was cooked well with a sweet marinade that I didn't expect. The pickled veggies added a nice crunch and tang, and spice from the jalapeño, balancing everything out beautifully. And the baguette? Toasted just right, with a satisfying crunch that held everything together without turning soggy.Honestly, if you're in the mood for a delicious sandwich, this is it. I'll definitely be back for another round! Sandwich was on the small side but plenty of meat for $7.99.

My favorite boba spot so far in Tucson! I love ordering boba from here. After a bad day it's nice to get a little sweet treat and nothing beats a good boba. They have board games available to play. The service is quick and everyone there is so polite and friendly. I recommend it here. The setting is very chill.

Such a charming café. Everything good for breakfast, lunch, or a coffee stop in Tucson, AZ. We were recommended this spot by a local Tucson resident, and I let her know the recommendation was excellent. The baristas were very friendly and said my Cafe Miel order was the most popular drink. We ordered:- Hot 12 oz. Cafe Miel - Latte with Cinnamon & Honey (2 shots espresso)- 16 oz. Iced Caramel CoffeeMy friend and I were both amazed at how good our coffees were. We sat at a small table near the window with a nice view of the patio that is set between the buildings near the center of the businesses, away from the parking lot and sidewalk. There is greenery and trees and it looks like a nice little oasis. It was still too hot for us to sit outside. It was unseasonably hot for the last day of September. Luckily, inside the cafe was nice and cool. There's a comfy casual here with plenty of tables to sit and eat or drink coffee. There's a gender-neutral restroom. Plenty of parking is available for the strip mall in this center. We got a shaded spot.

Loving the heartier additions to the menu; açaí bowls, flatbread, and salads. Many options with nut butters and hummus for protein, all light and fresh ideas that lighten the vibes of your day! Blue Hawaiian lemonade (pressed coconut, tangy lemonade, and blue spirulina) is second only to the legendary watermelon lemonade of summer time. My flatbread sandwich had a fair amount of lettuce, cucumber, and tropical fruit on it- tied together with hummus. The flatbread was perfectly warmed which made it the best part, and it was large enough to accommodate more ingredients. I'll ask for extra next time. My friend tried the açaí bowl which he said was good but a little pale in flavor- likely a lot of banana mixed in. Service was timely and friendly. Currently rocking Prickly Pear Lemonade!

Ni Hao Tea combines modern design and business practices with zen and comfort. This is a difficult feat to accomplish, but somehow Ni Hao pulls it off.I took my daughter on a date and we played jenga while we sipped our delicious milk tea with popping boba.I observed several people pick up their orders via call in. The employees didn't skip a beat when helping "to go" customers vs in house tea sippers. Environment is sleek and well cleaned.Best boba spot I have encountered in Tucson. Will be back.

"We've ordered through delivery apps a few times and today is the first day visiting the actual place. Overall I love this place because of the options. I love the Green bowl and the chimichurri steak wrap is good too. Their bowls are all good in my opinion. I have not tried any smoothies or juices but is next on my list. Service is great, the guy helping me was nice. It takes a bit to get your orderAmbiance feels clean like a typical healthy juice shop. Will be a returning customer!"
"Great location and it's not very busy. Excellent customer service and super friendly staff."
"Came here for dinner because place I intended to go was closed on Sunday.. This spot has been through many different restaurants places and I've been to them all which is kind of funny to me. I did like the menu and that it had different types of dishes, not a typical "filerberto" style Mexican fast food. Ordered menudo of course but then I saw the toritos... Last time I had some was at B. K. in Tucson. Only thing I was not happy with was the price. 4 little snack for almost 10 bux.. I opted for 2 pepper and 2 shrimp. Also ordered birria flautas. Toritos were yummy, stuffed cheese inside pepper wrapped in bacon and deep fried... Yummy. Chipotle dipping sauce was not bad. Shrimp wrapped in bacon deep fried also pretty good. Was it worth almost 10 bux? No. Menudo was pretty good. Wish it was little bit more hotter in temperature. But the price was pretty reasonable. Birria flautas was pretty good also. Flauta size is very generous, stuffed with meat. Birria broth in other bad was little bit on the weak side. Almost like just broth and they added some seasoning after. Was it bad? No but it wasn't amazing.Over all service was good, food was pretty good. If I could I would give it 3.5 stars but I can't.. So I leaned more toward 4 instead of 3. I would definitely come back here and try some other dishes."
"This is a brand-new place in Apache Junction but locals will recognize that they used to be in Gold Canyon (that place is still there but now serves ice cream only). This new location is tucked way back in a tired old mall that's frankly not very inviting. That is until you get inside Oldie's. Surprise! The decor is legit 1950's with a tasteful touch of authentic background music. I stopped in one hot July afternoon (alongside a fairly decent size crowd of Oldie's devotees and was greeted by Tyler, perhaps the most knowledgeable fast-food employee I've ever met. And genuinely friendly as well. He led me through their entire menu, making everything sound mouthwatering- especially the banana split, served in a real glass dish, which he appears to be the king of the universe at making. (PS - he just might be).I've been around for a while and have a pretty good idea what a good milkshake or other ice cream treat should cost and Oldie's is ridiculous, I mean ridiculous low compared to other custom ice cream shoppes. And according to Tyler, you make the decisions, not a list of 31 or whatever predetermined flavors. So go ahead and get that chocolate/blueberry/pistachio shake if your heart desires, choose from any of their flavors (which you can sample). No worries. But my real quest this venture was to find another local choice for getting my sub sammie fix. For the size of our town we actually have several good independent (non-chain) sub shops. I like some better than others but I don't love any of them, but I'm spoiled - I've had subs at some of the greatest little hole-in-the-walls in America. And as an aside, can anybody tell me why every sub shop in AJ is hidden in the corner of some mall where it is almost impossible to find?During my informal "interview" Tyler he convinced me that they were different. For starters they let you build your own right before your eyes, not hidden behind some 8' high counter or in some back room. He even explained the importance of the way they slice the fresh-baked bun and how they layer the meat in it. And toppings? Forget extra charges on an already stratospherically prices sub like some places, Just like with the ice cream it's YOUR sub so they'll put on it what YOU want. If hungry I've been known to demolish an entire 12" sub from other sub shops for dinner, not so here, 6"down my throat was all I could handle, the other half went in the fridge for lunch the next day.The last thing that makes Odie's a standout is not only are the ice cream treats budget friendly, the subs are ... okay I'll say it ... cheap! Like you go HUH when they ring up your bill.I mention my first contact because he's the one I met when I dropped in and he's the one who convinced me to become a customer. But while I was there I looked around and everyone behind the counter was upbeat and super-friendly. AJ is known for goldmines, including that famous lost one that everyone's looking for. Well I just found a locally owned sandwich and ice cream shop that's a real treasure and once the snowbirds come back this place is going to be a goldmine."
"Amazing customer service, speak Spanish/English, great portions, tasty ice cream, fair price, friendly service, nice selection. I love the whole thing around. There is seating inside and outside. It's family friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend. My favorite was the Gansito ice cream flavor, yum!"
"Very very good turkey sandwich on warm bread with melted havarti cheese. Fruit and apple slaw sides. Almost more than I can eat. Let's support this fresh and clean neighborhood place."
"Located right in front of the Residents Inn, open long hours and a huge menu of juices, smoothies and proteins.$8 for a 32oz is great value as the chain juice places charge that for 24oz. Made fast, all fruit and veg, great selection of proteins like raw almonds, flax, oat milk, powders and more. What a refreshing choice."
"It's actually a really good place. Me and my mom have been wanting to check the place out for awhile and finally went. We didn't really had high expectations because it was a hole-in-the-wall restaurant but as soon we got our coffee and food, it surpass our expectations. I got a Ice Vanilla Latte and A Crepe with strawberries, Nutella and cream cheese. The crepe was fluffy, warm and delicious including the strawberries that were fresh. The Latte was really well balanced not too strong and not too sweet. My mom got the Chicken club and the Horchata and she said that the sandwich was really good and her drink was good too. The Restroom were clean, the atmosphere/theme is very homie. I will be coming back to get more of their coffee"
"Super easy access and friendly service. Yummy hot mocha and fresh pastries. Very reasonably priced. Support local business!"
"I was going through Tucson back to California and I am so glad I stopped here. I've never had Dutch Bros coffee before and the only disappointing thing was there aren't in San Diego to get more. This coffee was so smooth and not bitter. Definitely better than Starbucks."
"The burgers are great! If you want a really good burger at a decent price that's not fast food , this is the place. They have many choices. The service was good and the dinning area is clean and inviting. Love it. One of my new favorites!!"
"I stopped in on the recommendation of a friend. I'm trying to up my healthy eating game. The menu was full of great looking smoothies, wraps, juices, and acai bowls. I tried the super green goddess salad. It's all self serve, or you can push a button for assistance. It's funny that you choose take out or eat in - I chose eat in, but it still came in a take-out bowl, when I asked what the difference was, he said there was a lid on it LOL! The salad tasted great, I loved the picked egg in it, the creamy avocado, and the dressing had a great flavor. I do wish it had been just a little bit bigger though. The next time I'm in the area, I'll try a smoothie - they all sounded great! There are a lot of nice seating areas both inside and outside on the patio! Sometimes it's a challenge to find a healthy place for lunch - this is definitely one of them!"
"Always polite, and if you don't know what to get ask for the drink takers favorite. :)10/10"
"Love that they have an open lane so that if you have your drink, you can easily exit out and not have to be stuck!Beware though, the line is shared by dairy queen and on a busy night like tonight you can be behind a dairy queen customer , so pay attention"
"This is now my favorite water and ice cream store. I have been meaning to write a review for a while I came here a 2 months ago because I got a flyer in the mail for free scoop of ice cream. I had no idea it was also a water store, originally. Its fairly new but definetly could miss it if you aren't looking for it. It is nestled right between the pizza place and wings factory in the Safeway Plaza. I love that they sell Thrifyy ice cream (even by the gallon) you really can't go wrong with that! I used to get Sparklettes delivered to my house about 20 gallons for $29/bucks a month. Since finding out about this store I now pay .25/gallon for the same type of water. He does offer mineralized water at a little bit higher price but I like the purified water. The owner and his family are very nice people and their store is always clean. It is close to my house and there is always plenty of parking."
"Walked in and you could smell the aroma of fruit. The staff was kind and friendly. I had no idea what to get, so I asked the employee what her favs where. I risked it all and let her chose. Dang good flavors she picked. I got the island drink."
"Very nice place people very friendly and produce very tasty differently a place to stop and prices very reasonable"
"I'm not saying that all businesses need to take Apple Pay, but any brand new businesses going in should probably consider keeping up with the times and utilize current technology for their customers and target market. Yes it is my fault that I forgot my wallet at home and that's OK because I can usually use my watch or phone to pay for things at Walgreens or Dunkin' Donuts or Starbucks but they couldn't save me on opening day. I'm also not a huge fan of the level of overfamiliarity that the employees take with customers. It's unnatural and uncomfortable and you should know the limits and boundaries of people that you don't know. You're a stranger paid to make me coffee, not climb in my car and be my pretend best friend.Rant over. Coffee is not terrible but doesn't stand apart from anything else."
"Their chia pudding is great, I love that I can add this to my smoothie bowls. Also they always get my smoothie consistency just right."
"To be fair, Dutch isn't my first go to because the drinks aren't coffee enough - does that make sense? The hazelnut truffle coffee was awesome though. Bring back the amaretto! However!!!! The customer service I receive at this specific location has been consistently great. They are friendly, but not in the fake way. The outside of the store is clean."
"Great atmosphere!! Service was wonderful and drinks were delicious!!!Not near where I live but if I'm in the neighborhood I will stop by! N"
"Excellent, fast service. The drive thru lines were long so I walked up to the window. I had my iced chai latte within 3 minutes. The guy working the window was so friendly and cheery this morning."
"Great service with some of the friendliest Dutch Bros employees! It's always a pleasure to get my coffee here."
