"I ran over here specifically for the hatch chili's. I'm not sure if the market is typically very small or if it had to do with COVID. There were probably 10-15 booths of varying items. There were veggies, chili's, salsa, lotions, etc. I will definitely go back and scan the booths when I have more time."
"Just went to a wedding here and it was seriously a gorgeous venue. The views of the Santa Ritas are fantastic. There are chickens, dogs and cats running around and being adorable. There was a horse that came right up to the fence so we could pet it.The reception area was awesome, it's by a pool, it's grassy and there are really pretty lights.I know they also have a pumpkin patch and other events here so visit, it's awesome."
"We came too late, apples were already harvested. But it is still a nice place to check out. They have two different farm sites. The apple orchard, where you can get everything apple products, popcorn and donuts. The other farm has all the veggies and pumpkins, where you can ride the hayride. And go to the corn maze. Lots of fun for the kids."
"Another one of my favorites has now opened up in my neighborhood. I love shopping here at the sprouts. I always find fresh fruits and vegetables, and when they have weekly specials on their different meats, I always seem to stock up. I love that they utilize boars head meat in their deli. The store itself is conveniently located. The staff is extremely friendly in the store is very tidy I would recommend shopping here to anyone."
"This farm is sooo awesome! Fresh organic produce (and eggs) shares are available here-- for pick up or delivery. The ranch is also open to the general public 1pm- 5pm every Saturday. You can find them south of Tucson or at the farmer's market locally.I have a family member that has been paying them for farm shares for over a year and has always had positive things to say about the produce and the farm itself! They offer whole chickens, eggs, turkey and pork as well-- all free range (and very happy...so you know you're getting the good stuff, if meat's your thing).Tina and Jim, the owners, are super sweet, nice down-to-earth people. They host internships there quarterly to positive, motivated people who want to learn all the ends and outs of the organic farming business. I think this is cool that they are more than willing to share their knowledge of farming with who ever wants to learn!Overall-- Great farm, wonderfully fresh, organic produce and lots of great people working on the farm! I would have a share from here in a heartbeat, if I actually lived in the area."
"Locally produced, sustainable, grass-fed beef. I was very excited to see there was a ranch here that had humanely raised cows, in a natural environment. I bought some New York steaks from Double Check Ranch (2 lbs for approximately $28 retail price) and got out the iron skillet to pan fry them. The meat was delicious, very flavorful, and lean. Since their beef is leaner than most mass-produced beef, cooking times and temps are lower to prevent overcooking. Although pricey, I think it's worth it for both the taste and the ethics/environmental aspect of buying Double Check Ranch beef."
"Well, this was from before Covid was really raging and my hubby and I dropped in during the last 20 minutes. We were happy to see there were still vendors with goods and one super nice dude who roasts veggies had some end of day deals! I left feeling lucky, and with bags of delicious tomatoes onions red peppers and more. There weren't many food to eat vendors, but it could've been because of our timing. I'm planning next weekend to go back and I'll update my review after I peruse the goods. I'll get back soon as I'm wanting to make bake cook preserve ferment some part of summer before it's gone."
"If you are into supporting local make a pit stop here. This is the shop where the local natives sell their harvested wares. They have great products like mesquite flour, and cholla buds and if you are lucky you will be there in time for the syrup. Native seeds sends their employees here to visit and learn about the native ways. The offerings are a bit sparse at the moment but I hope they expand."
"Small local farmers market that sells some locally grown produce and also gets some specialty items shipped in from suppliers.Very friend couple that own this business and even had a table of free produce that was slightly imperfect. The wife even gave me some very ripe bananas that she had in her fridge for free; perfect for banana bread! They also offer customers a chance to put in specialty orders if there's something they don't carry. There is a small assortment of pantry essentials, fresh herbs, and lots of large cuts of meat."
"What a cute farm market. Not just produce, milk and meats but amazing jewelry. We purchased some amazing stone necklaces from Paleo customs. If you are in town it is worth a stop."

Awesome farmers market once a week inside trail dust town! Home grown honey, local produce at reasonable prices and lots of fun with the locals.Occasionally there's live music and the kids and pets have great time. Check out trial dust towns events page for when they have special events going on.

Awesome spot. I went to a wedding here and was assisting the photographer. I have been to tons of venues around Tucson, and this place was gorgeous. It reminded me of home, very cozy, low-key, and well managed. There are flowers everywhere, gardens of them, complete with farm animals, dogs, and the friendliest cat I have ever met. It is a family run affair, and the owner is a lovely older woman, who has many interesting stories and wisdom to share. If you want to get married in Tucson, check this place out.

It was a nice day trip from Phoenix, about a 4 hour drive. We started at the orchard to pick apples and grabbed some lunch from the Orchard Grill. The burgers were nice and fresh, in our opinion very worth the $10.99 cost of the meal (comes with chips and a pop). And it's beef from their actual farm! After the apple picking, we stopped by the bakery to get their famous donuts and peach slushies. Neither disappointed and I totally agree with the hype. After a few hours on that side of the farm, we drove to the pumpkin patch. $5 a person for a 5 minute hayride to the pumpkin patch from the front stand is a bit of a stretch but if you've got pumpkin patch money then I guess it's really not that absurd. Their little market is cute and the fresh eggs are a VALUE DEAL. Farm eggs for $4/dz?! Can't find that in the grocery stores. I've read a previous reviewer say that the pot farm across the street ruins the vibe but beyond the parking lot, you can't really smell it. We'd love to visit again and would recommend it to others looking for Fallsy stuff to do within a day trip from Phoenix.

This store is smaller than the other sprouts according to the manager; but I absolutely love having a Sprouts in my backyard. So many wonderful healthy choices. The store is clean, has variety and almost everything one would expect in a sprouts. And since the store is new every weekend, they always have demonstrations and samples. Just nice to have healthy options.

I LOVE me some grass-fed beef. This is always on my hit list when I visit the St. Phillips Farmer's Market. My husband and I have been getting our ground beef here for a while now, and purchased as many Groupon's as we could when Double Check was the daily deal! It is amazing how different grass-fed beef tastes from what we all grew up eating. So much better for you too! Their beef is also featured at several of the area's best restaurants such as The Arizona Inn, Canyon Ranch and Harvest. Double Check is run by educated and passionate people who really believe in the advantages of sustainable and organic agriculture. Make sure you stop by the next time you are at the market and find out what beef is supposed to taste like!

Delightful surprise for a foodie traveling from Portland Oregon. Up in the great Northwest we are blessed with tremendous farms producing lots of produce and meats and have huge farmers markets every day of the week. We are a bit spoiled. But this "little" farmers market rocks. So if you're living in the area or traveling through get on down here and dig in. Just finished off a nice organic hot tamale and purchased some white and blue corn organic tortillas, produce, dried beans, eggs, and grass fed beef.I'm finding a lot of sustainably produced local foods along with eggs, tortillas, dried beans, nuts, canned goods, fruits, coffee, pastries, micro greens, tomatoes, cabbage, brussels sprouts, more more more veggies and so on. Grass fed and organic meats--Wagu, Angus and Kobe beef, really awesome.Come on and meet / chat with the vendors and do ask questions about their sources and best practices. It is good to know WHERE and HOW your food is grown. Also do support the local purveyors providing and farmers producing the most wholesome products they can. Support the SMALL FARMERS--the backbone of our food nation competing against large corporations who care more about the almighty dollar than providing healty food for us!

(Please note that the reviews shown above for Jasmine and Bruegger's bagels have nothing to do with this native operated business. These are the Tohono O'Odham people, native to this area for thousands of years before the arrival of Europeans. 5 stars for native farm raised produce. First, to find the place, be sure to expand the map which is not very specific. When first encountered it looks like a farm implement place as many machines are stored there. It is at the first road north when going west from I-19 at the San Xavier exit toward the mission. You will see a fence on the northeast corner which can be entered from the San Xavier Mission road or after turning right on a dirt road and then right into the first gate. The store is closer to the south end of the property against the west fence. You will probably spot the plants sitting outside for sale before you see the store. (Look at the photos at the top.)The people in the store are extremely courteous (which is a Tohono O'Odham cultural trait). They will explain everything they sell, and find someone to help you if they don't know the answer. They offer fresh produce from their farms as well as native foods like mesquite flour, cholla buds. They also sell some of the grains introduced to them over 400 years ago by the Spanish. They also usually have some cookies, tortillas and bread for sale. Almost all the beans we eat came from their culture. They have been farming here for well over two thousand years and likely much longer.

"If you are a "organic" or "all natural" food eater, or maybe you like to just eat fresh produce, you need to get to the SV Farmers Market. It is twice ca week, Saturdays here and Thursdays over on Wilcox and Carmichael. If you go on Thursday you will have the full list of vendors there compared to Saturday's. I've added this as one of the top 5 places to take my family for some chow. We get out and see the animals and soak up some sun. You have a lot of vendors cooking up breakfast or brunch and fresh bread, breakfast burrito's... you name it they probably are cooking it fresh from the farm. This type of food and produce fresh is what we love in our family. If you ever can't make it, drop by the local food coop which is owned and operated by local growers and consumers alike."
"This farmers market has a little bit of everything .. lots of local farms, bakers, artists, soap makers, etc vendors. You will find breakfast burritos, tamales, homemade tortillas, coffee and lemonade on a hot summer morning.Local honey, plants, fruit & veggie farms, baked goods, eggs, local raised beef & bacon, homemade salsa, juice, handmade baskets, vintage clothing and LIVE music. On today's visit there was a lady selling aprons made from ties!! So cute!! And a family selling local honey & carne seca/ machaca (Yum!). It could be the warm summer morning but you could smell the mangos before you could see them. It's located under the shade trees at Vista Park, a 7min drive outside of Old Bisbee. Plenty of street parking, well behaved dogs allowed, most vendors accept Venmo and cash."
"This is a great thing to do on Wednesdays. Easy to park. Easy access and the offerings are great for veggies, baked goods and personal care items like essential oils. I have also seen ola ts, rugs, chili garlands, knife sharpening and crafts. I always try to bring cash but most vendors take cards. An added bonus are the businesses in this center being open. The whole scene combines to create an environment that lets you get a feel for the community. If you are looking for a fun market to visit this is a nice one."
"Had a fantastic experience here! Their curated wine selection is a standout with a great selection of AZ options; they even had some fun inspirational mystery wine bags for the adventurous. The cocktails are a delight, and the bartenders offer personalized guidance based on your taste. The inviting ambiance makes it a perfect stop. We stopped here before our dinner reservation at Maynard's Kitchen, but will definitely be back to explore more of their offerings. Cheers to a wonderful find!"
"3.3/5 starsThis is a good sized country swap meet in the town of Snowflake. It is in a large dirt lot with a few trees on the perimeter and a good sized parking lot . It opens at 8am and most booths are closed by 2 pm. You have a good number of people selling things they make such as salsa, tinctures, breads, cookies and snacks and other food or health items such as honey and CBD creams. There are others who sell crafts such as jewelry, signs, and fishing lures and lots of tools; others, it seems, sell a jumble of things they pick up at the close of garage sales. It's always fun to walk around and see what they have that day. In the summer, it gets very warm walking around so it's nice to save for last the outer row where there are trees providing great shade. Several booths with smart concessionaires sell ice cold water-which is in high demand! I recommend stopping by if you are in the area. You never know if you will find just the thing you're looking for-or it's a fun way to spend a few hours!"
"The Farmers, both owners, and WWOOFers are always very friendly. It is clear that they LOVE what they do, and are always looking forward to grow new things, experiment with soap-making, pickling, etc. They are a lively bunch with unique and wonderful personalities. I have always enjoyed my time visiting with, the occasional running into, and eating beautiful produce from Sleeping Frog Farms! Also, Check out their section of organic local produce at the Food Conspiracy Co op."
"What a fun place! We had a pleasant drive with mountain views and beautiful homes, and near Saguaro National Park. There are several vendors inside and outside carrying home decor, art, jewelry, food and pet items, and natural items such as soaps and salves, and much more. There were ponies and goats for the kids to see. In addition, you could listen to music and have breakfast or an early lunch. I also saw a diner down the read. Definitely, a great morning trip with family or friends. Can't wait to come back!"
"Nice little farmers market, glad they still have some. I drove almost three hours to get some fresh veggies and fun cool stuff. Not too many vendors but abiding to most vendors more are coming in the next month. Fresh veggies and jams and pretty jewelry.. handmade home decor and plants! Nice little coffee tent with 2$ cups of coffee. I will be back!"
"My favorite farmers' market in Tucson because it showcases so many vendors with a variety of options for local produce, products (think soaps, crafts, oils, bags), and delicious food. It's almost impossible to decide what foods to try because there are so many delicious food stalls so come with hungry bellies! Most vendors accept credit card, but if you don't have cash, you can purchase tokens to pay for your products as well. Every time we've brought visitors from out of town, they comment on what a great farmers market it is. Be sure to check the hours of operation on their website because they vary between summer and winter (and when races are occurring in February through April). Currently it's 8:30-12:30 on Sundays, but over the summer, runs 8-12."
"A very nice place but it feels like it is struggling. Wonderful parking lot and free shade. There are a number of shops here and places to eat. There are also a lot of empty store fronts.Looks like it was quite the place in it's day.The Farmer's market is nice but very small and lightly attended."
"Unfortunately we only made it to the Famers Market once while we were visiting Sierra Vista. It is a very nice place to go to pick up some local products. There are limited items available during the winter months but, you should still find local produce and other stuff at reasonable prices. I understand that there is sometimes a Food Truck there so you can also get some lunch from a local business."
"I used to love walking around shopping this market before the world changed. Even though it isn't quite as fun to drive through it is definitely convenient and I am just happy to be able to get my produce and support them. There are weeks you can just drive up and make your selection immediately and then there are times you have to wait in a long line and when you get to the front your options are very limited. Either way they post their menu on Facebook every week and the selection is still pretty great. All of the staff are always upbeat and very friendly and helpful. I'm grateful that they are finding a way to continue doing this!"
"I've been to other markets like this, but found their produce to be not so fresh. This produce is top notch, the staff/volunteers are helpful friendly and quick! Help them out by bringing your own bags or a cooler on wheels. There is no better deal out there, it's 10$ for 60 pounds, but remember larger donations are excepted if you can afford a little extra! Shop and eat fresh!"
"This service is really awesome for anyone in the community that likes veggies specifically although they offer a variety of other products sometimes too! I've heard of MOM for years and always wanted to check it out and just never did. Now with nothing but time on my hands I finally made it a priority to go. The whole set up is simple and very easy but it does get crazy! Go early because the line builds up quickly and I know they have recently implemented a newer system to try and detour the traffic from building up along 22nd. Anyway you snake your way through to the front and a friendly volunteer asks how many portions (?) you would like - it is $10/60lbs of whatever they have. After collecting your money they mark your car and you inch your way to the volunteers that load up your vehicle and you're off! Every week you can check Facebook for a list of what they will be offering so that makes it easy to see if it's something you can use or not. The boxes are pre made so there isn't any 'shopping', you get what you get. On the times I've gone I received all veggies of tomatoes, squash, grapefruits, green beans and then some sage but I have seen them offering milk and cheese sometimes too. It is an amazing deal that gets you A LOT of vegetables, saving them from being wasted, and the money goes towards a non profit that can continue helping those in need. Everyone is really friendly and they work quickly to keep the line moving, so grateful for Market on the Move!"
"We are in the process of moving back to Tucson after many years away. I had never gone to the St. Philip's Plaza Saturday Market in my previous residences, so we decided to check it out on a recent weekend when we were back in town finding a place to live.I am surprised to read some negative reviews for the market: there were a number of interesting vendors there. It is true that most were not food related: definitely more arts, crafts, supplements, etc. But still lots of fun shopping to do in an adorable venue. We talked to lots of nice folks. Someone else mentioned in a one star review "no coffee". I assume this means there is no longer a coffee vendor in the market (we didn't see one) but the market takes place in the same plaza where Ren Coffee is located and their coffee is amazing! We grabbed a cup from there prior to walking around the market. All in all a lovely experience: I'd be tempted to go a little later in the day next time so I could grab a margarita at Reforma after our shopping experience concludes."
