"20 stars for Carbon. Front office lady was so kind and helpful. I went in with muscle spasms. I first went to nextcare on 22nd. The MA was rude, hateful, clearly should not work with people. I walked out and went to Carbon Health. So different. These people from the front desk to the Medical asst and physician were so helpful. They CARE. They want to help you. Hardly any wait time. Multiple injections in my back for spasms. This is the care you expect. This is the place you want to go. They are human beings with heart and soul at Carbon. They don't yell at you. They don't treat you like a dog. Shout out the the Doc and ALL staff that took amazing care of me on 11/20/23. I will return when necessary. Professional, caring, and resolve the issue. If you want the BEST of the BEST this is your Urgent Care!!"
"I feel people who have negative experiences are more likely to leave reviews. I have been established here for over a year and honestly the quality of care and empathy is outstanding. I've never had to wait super long and all the receptionists are super friendly and courteous every time. Everyone who works here is professional and caring. Nothing but trust and respect for this establishment. Very clean and orderly."
"Some things don't change-- have yet to meet Dr Wells but i had to complete an application to be accepted into her practice!!! I don't appreciate lack of follow up after a visit with a NP or any member of a medical team-- that's what I've come to expect. Seems to be high staff turnover. I resorted to driving to the office to get a form completed. they seem to like making referrals to specialists rather than just deal with a simple medical issue. Example: had a rash on the top of my feet. Was referred to a podiatrist. Get to that appointment where I'm told that it looks like contact dermatitis and that a simple cream could/should have been prescribed by my general doctor."
"DR. kahan is a terrific doctor. i have lived her for 14 years never had any problems with him he takes his time with you, explains your problem to the fullest. you never have any problem understanding of what he tells you. he also helps you with a specialist if you need one."
"Not a good experience.I had a physical in February. I had to pay for the bloodwork I had to pay for the DEXA scan because Dr Querimit didn't code it properly. I've been going to this office for 15 years. They used to be private and then they got bought out by corporate company. So I talked with the office manager. I talked with their corporate offices in Las Vegas. Nobody seemed to be able to help me. I spoke with Dr. Querimit and she said that's the way I have to code it. But after going there for 15 years and now the coding has changed it's a little fishy. I've had the same medical insurance so I don't know why all of a sudden she has to code things that I had a large deductible to pay. They will not work with you in the office. I've been yelled at by the staff that answers the phone. Then in September, I received another bill from them. They charged my insurance companies over $700 and added another office visit because Dr Querimit asked me about some medication that my previous doctor had prescribed. And I said yes that was for insomnia and I'm not taking that anymore and she said well why don't you try this medicine. Hence the reason I got another office call charge. Pretty shady stuff going on over there now I'm owing another $324 for my co-pay thank you very much. They will do nothing so I will send them five dollars a month. I do not recommend this place unless you have lots of money to pay after you've already paid for your medical insurance."
"I was in medicine for many years and knew all the doctors in my local area. It was easy to choose the ones I wanted to see because I knew their reputations inside and out. Moving to a new city meant seeing doctors and practices I had no idea about. Luckily, I made a good friend who is in medicine here in Tucson. When I needed a Primary Care Physician she suggested Dr. Abraham Byrd at Sonora Family Practice. I'm so happy that she did. Dr. Byrd is wonderfully thorough in his care. He takes a great amount of time getting to know his patient and discussing concerns and needs. In addition, he is quite comfortable coordinating care with specialists. This is extremely important for those of us who must be managed for transplant related issues. In addition, Dr. Byrd is cut from the cloth of the traditional "family doctor" he knows his patients and allows them to get to know him. I could not be more thrilled to find such a caring, professional and competent PCP in the area."
"We see Dr. Gloudemans, and she's a wonderful doctor. Friendly, upbeat, up on the most recent research, and pro-vaxx (hooray!!). She's proactive about problems after making sure things are worth worrying about-- "let's keep an eye on this, and if there's still a problem in a month or two, come back in and we'll see about a referral to a specialist."As others have mentioned, we've had a few billing hiccups. We received a bill saying we were past due on 3 appointments' fees, despite paying all copays in the office. Luckily it was all straightened out after a phone call, but it's been frustrating on that front."
"I have been referred to Dr Yim after my doctor of 20 years at UA and Banner whom I loved was the last one out the door. Two of my very close friends referred Dr Yim to me.As a new patient they booked me at 4 p.m. 1 st appt. That was the first mistake. He was running late he came in the room like he had just run a marathon and was trying to catch up. I introduce myself I told him I needed a new Primary Care due to my doctor leaving area.I had sent all my medical tests meds anything else that he would need prior to our visit. He said" what can I do for you?""Again I repeat what do you want from me today." I said I had made the appointment 2 months ago for a new Primary Care. I don't need anything today. I have separated from my husband and my world is turned upside down. I am extremely distressed and I don't know where to go from here. I have been working very hard on keeping myself in the zone being at peace so I don't lose it. And the doctor walks in frustrated overwhelmed and overworked. Our energies did not match at all.Two ends of the scale. I am doing the best I can do to move on one day at a time. Stay in inner peace and Faith. This doctor is looking at me thinking what the hell does she want out of me? He kept saying what do you want! This is not your husband's appointment! don't talk about your husband, talk about yourself. Good life that my husband and I built for the last 19 years has been shattered. But this doctor didn't seem to understand that is not about my husband that is about me.He was talkin down and Kurt and almost raising his voice at me.I believe he was in more distressed state than I was. I said well my life is turned upside down. I don't know what to do... (I don't have a doctor that I feel comfortable and confident with someone that tries to understand me ) and that is why I can cry on a dime." Again he pipes up what do you want from me today!"I'm writing this because I want YOU to know all doctors have different standards of patient care. If you think that they're going to sit down with you and care what is going on in your life, you are wrong. You need to find someone who is empathetic who doesn't have a patient booked every 20 minutes or so. And who has enough time allotted to see behind your tears someone that doesn't grill you.I was totally misunderstood my heart has been broken by my shattered marriage. Alll he did was exacerbated with his clinical Style. When the nurse checked me into the room, she said you know he is running late today and he gives everybody a thorough visit, so when he comes to see you he will do the same for you. That totally sounds fair. I was told, he's always running late his appointments are overbooked, even the nurse said don't plan on anything for an hour after your appointment just in case. They have it worked out (so the just in case is a fact of life in that clinic). I know that if I wasn't so sensitive I could have blown it off.And just gone somewhere else. I would have stopped him in his tracks and told him you are not for me.This is a doctor that is just making his quota of patients and giving minimum care so that he complies with the corporate(Northwest) expectations of him. I'm sorry I'm a senior I am not going to put my life in someone's hands that doesn't care....At least he didn't sugarcoat it and pretend to interact with me, to see how he could help me.He gave me no false hopes of finding the right doctor. I waited two months for this appointment. It was a waste of time on both sides. I have been in this town 22 years and I have never made a complaint against a doctor. I know that there is a shortage of doctors and there's only so much they can do. But when it comes down to a "confrontation" because I can't just pipe up and say yeah my husband has had a stroke and his emotions are gone. This doctor keeps reminding me it's my appointment. How do you separate it?Without a doubt or a reservation I vote a strong No. I have cried two days thinking how could I let this doctor run over me like that without me standing up for myself. That's what made me cry for 2 days."
"Excellent doctor! It was a wait to get my first appointment, but worth the wait. Dr. Khan asked a lot of questions and was very caring and empathetic."
"I have a problem with doctors just recommending medication right off the bat. Hence the reason I haven't been to the doctors in many years. Dr. Nikki did recommend medication but she did take the time to recommend holistic ways in which to solve my issue. I get migraines, really really bad migraines and unfortunately medication is often prescribed rather then alternate forms of medication. I've had migraines for two years and haven't seen a doctor until Dr. Nikki. I have a low dosage of migraine medication that I can take before an attack is going to occur. Service wise the doctors office was patient with me as I filled out the new forms for their office and I will be going back because I did feel comfortable with the mostly female staff. Lastly, the office is located in a convenient area from where I work and live."
"Dr Weismann and Dr Moore are fantastic GP's. We've been going to Dr. Weismann for over 10 years with a tiny break in the middle when his health group did not take our insurance. The office is nice, cheerful and the staff great. Dr. Weismann is attentive and does not make you feel rushed at all. Once you are established it is really easy and convenient to get in for whatever medical attention you need. They also have an on-site lab which I love!"

Walk in labs took a long time in the waiting room but I got labs drawn after my appointment and the lady who drew my blood WAS AMAZING. Hands down the best phlebotomist I've ever had.

Dr Wells is amazing last weekend I was sick freezing, shaking and felt like I had been hit with a baseball bat. I couldn't move and had a video call with her, she took time out of her busy to help me and was excellent very caring and gave me antibiotics that worked in 30 mins letting me put pressure on my left leg as my shin had become very red and swollen.Dr Wells is amazing last weekend I was sick freezing, shaking and felt like I had been hit with a baseball bat. Changing Dr.s W/O the patients knowing nor having a choice!!And WAY TOOOO much marketing in the Lobby & Exam Rooms! This is Disgraceful!

My grandfather was a physician in Missouri, much loved by his patients for three generations.Dr. Byrd is that kind of doctor, today, in Tucson. Finest care in the West. He got me to the right specialists for a weird diagnosis and hugely improved my health. He is avuncular, calm, drily funny, and never ever in too much of a hurry for you.

Dr Yim is my favorite primary care physician. I met with a couple others when I first moved to Tucson and was completely unhappy but finding Dr Yim changed my life in putting the quality of health back into it. He listens, is patient, and tries to find a solution and I have found him to be successful every time. Even if it's trying a couple different medications to find the one that works for you specifically.

"I have been going her for over a year now for my ob/gyn visits. Debie Dolman is amazing. she really listens to your concerns and takes her time. I have had 3 other doctors in Tucson and none have found what she has. I recommend her to any women struggling to get pregnant or needing their annual women's visit."
"There are a lot of doctors offices in this huge building. We are in 225, cardiology. My wife needs a confirmation Echocardiogram to rule something out. We see Dr. Lee Ghuy. This will be a hour test, bring a book. All good."
"I've been coming here for years, great patient care! Johanna Evans is the Best! I have no complaints at all, never had a wait, always seen right away"
"Brand new 60 bed Hospital and Emergency Room at Drexel and Houghton.1st day and my mom had to check in with an emergency. She was admitted as patient #2! Great staff and lots of attention. Escorted to elevator by the administrator! Mom is getting the best help! Beautiful new facility! State of the Art!"
"I have been seeing Karen Narum in the breast clinic for 2 years. She is the real deal. She cares and takes the time to explain things step by step. I know that she truly cares. Going toThe doctor is stressful and she takes the time to ease that stress."
"I started bringing my newborn daughter here and moved my two other kids over here as well. Dr. Longoria is amazing and is so attentive to the care and needs for our kids. The front office staff is always super friendly and is always willing to work with us for appointments and scheduling. I have tried out numerous doctors trying to get a good one for our kids and I have finally found one that I will be sticking with. If you are looking please give them a try."
"We had the opportunity of driving to an urgent care on Broadway close to our house. Instead we drove to MHC Healthcare Quick Care because they are open until 8pm. We got here at about 7:30pm and they were able to see us within 10 mins. SUPER AWESOME! The medical assistant Nan and NP Tricia were so helpful! Truly compassionate staff!"
"When I moved to Green Valley 2 years ago I had several health issues requiring prescriptions and monitorin. Imagine my surprise to not be able to locate a single doctor in Green Valley Az for senior healthcare needs. I contacted Banner and was able to schedule a new patient appointment 13 months out from the time of scheduling. I reserved the appointment then found ZocDoc on a google search and called Lisnet's office at Milagros In South Tucson. Got an appointment within a few days. I was very impressed with her knowledge, professionalism and thoroughness. The only drawback for me was needing a ride to her office from Green Valley. Lisnet made some medication changes and ordered tests I needed. She immediately referred me to specialists for specific testing and they were quick to book and good. The only reason I stopped seeing Lisnet was the 13 month appt with Banner in Green Valley finally arrived and I went as it was 2 miles from home. The MD I have been seeing is alright but not as good as Lisnet. If you are at all able to get an appointment within her, you will not regret it."
"I've been to many doctors around the world: Dr. Brian S. Donovan, M.D., is among the best. He's so compassionate and wise you'll think he's a concierge doctor coming to your home. If you want relief from the corporate, faceless number machines around Tucson, Casalim and Dr. Donovan are you answer. I made the change and couldn't be healthier and happier."
"Dr Woods and his team are very attentive to my concerns and health. Northwest Health has a large network of specialists.Dr Woods spends a good deal of time with every visit. I've been his patient for 5 years since I came to Tucson. I'm extremely satisfied with the quality of care he provides."
"The staff here made me feel at ease. I'm not one to go to the doctors office often and when I do, my anxiety tries to get the best of me. All the staff from check in to treatment and check out are wonderful. The feeling of acceptance and kindness really went along way to reassure me that I was in a good place. I definitely do recommend new patients come to see what good things are big done here."
"The most infuriating part about this office is their phone system never works you will never get ahold of anybody today I tried twice today learned that after 24 minutes on hold the system hang up on you I also learned that none of the buttons work because if you press one you will not get to make an appointment if you press two the recording will not step stop playing if you press zero you were either go nowhere or get disconnected. Literally the only way to do business with this places to walk in the door and talk to whoever is behind the desk I don't know how in the world pharmacies with prescription issues get a hold of this place. I guess now I'm driving across town to make an appointment. however I love my doctor so I really really wish they would read these reviews and address their phone system!"
"Dr Eltahahir Mohanad is the BEST. He's very caring. He's Awesome! I highly recommend him for all your foot issues. He's also very sweet and kind. His medical assistance are so sweet and kind also."
"I didn't even get to see the doctor and my experience was bad. I called them and gave my insurance info. No issues, no questions, no concerns. I showed up for my appointment and my insurance IS accepted but only a certain, exclusive type. I've never met nor called an office before that didn't know what insurance is accepted and what plans within that insurance is accepted. I wasted my time coming here. I needed a primary care doctor for an urgent medical need and now I have to start over. Dissatisfaction is the mildest feeling I have. AVOID."
"This location is fantastic. They have a lab on-site so you can get bloodwork done without having to drive to another clinic. The staff here is friendly and helpful. Every provider is kind and takes the time to listen to any concerns. Very rare these days"
"The line to get your prescription is always very long, but El Rio does a great job staffing the centers. Friendly and helpful!"
"I absolutely love Desert Bloom ! The staff here is all very friendly and welcoming. I see Taber - FNP and she is INCREDIBLE ! She is so knowledgeable always has your best interest as priority and most importantly makes you feel so comfortable. She treats you like family always remembers you and greets you with a smile. I had to stop coming here for a year due to insurance conflicts and could not find a practice as amazing as this one or a Primary OB-GYN as wonderful as her. All Dr. and NP at this practice provide the same high quality care. I will never go to anyone else. Thank you Desert Bloom for providing such amazing service !"
