Dain H. "This is an easy going spot relatively close to downtown and Lost Dutchman state park. We enjoyed the hamburger steak and chicken fried steak, which each came with potato hash, eggs and toast. Both highly flavorful dishes and recommended. Sometimes they run out of the famous chicken fried so be sure to get there early. Awesome quick service and value all around!"

Alex C. "I used to come here when it was Chaffin's Diner and I was so pleased to not only see they honored the old layout but revamped it in a 50s inspired decor which made my heart sing! The powdered blue bar stools and benches were paired with chrome and blonde wood. I also loved that the menus' stay on the tables and it removes an air of pretentiousness this place could have. If for no other reason, you should come here for the decor alone. So many revamped places get gentrified and the charm and history bleached out to a horrifying blandness. Ugh. Anyway! Onto the food. I started with an Old Fashion which was $5 on happy hour. I always find this the best and quickest way to test a bartender's skills. I was not disappointed! It was actually one of the best I've had in Tucson. It was perfectly balanced and not too strong on the whiskey flavor or orange. My friend and I split the Cauliflower Poppers and Three Sisters Burrito. Both vegan! I was slightly annoyed that they came out at the same time, seeing how the poppers were an appetizer. I soon forgot my annoyance as I tasted the poppers first. Seriously, how is this vegan!? The batter was light, very crispy and the buffalo sauce a perfect blend of spices and vinegar. It was listed as vegan but I didn't know the ranch was too AND made in house. It was very good too. The Three Sisters Burrito was phenomenal. I was blown away again. It comes with tempura battered squash. It was again very flavorful, perfectly cook and it was a miracle I didn't eat the whole thing in one bite! Oh happy tears!! They truly understood vegan does not mean bland and I'm so thankful for that. They have other vegan options too! I cannot wait to come back. One last note, THANK YOU so much for labeling V for vegan AND VEG for vegetarian. It gets frustrating trying to find vegan food with its lumped in with with vegetarian offerings."

This is a cozy/delicious little option that was quite the surprise after having tried a few other locations in SC that were all closed. Food was simple but amazing...all made to order. What a great find! It'll be bookmarked once this review is done! Well done - enjoy."

Abigail A. "If you want a great selection of beers on tap for a cheap price and some decent grub, Single Jack Restaurant should be on your radar. The have a full bar, but if you're looking for good beers on tap, you can get options like Dargoon IPA, Blue Moon, and Orange Blossom. 16 oz will cost you $4 while a 25 oz will cost you $1 more. A flight of 4 samples will also cost you $5. They also serve moscow mules and other speciality cocktails.Single Jack has two menus, where a majority of the options are themed around mining. They have classic options like pasta, burgers, wings, and sandwiches. They also serve enchiladas, tacos, nachos, and some other classic bar foods. If you want something more substantial, there are steak options. When I went to this restaurant, we all ordered the Boss's Burger, which is a homemade beef patty with onions and jalapenos mixed in. It comes with classic toppings on the side, free cheese options, and 2 free extra sides. Any addition toppings will cost $1/topping. It then comes with either french fries or curly fries. I chose the Boss's Burger with pepper jack cheese, bacon and guacamole with curly fries. They give a substantial amount of curly fries with the burger and garlic aioli on the side. The patty was large, cooked well-done, and slightly dry. Service was a little slow, but there was only one waitress. If you have plenty of time and want to grab some beers and food with friends, this is a great option for you!"

My mainstay is the American which comes with bacon, eggs, hashbrowns and toast and it is always consistent. Spouse is a little more adventuresome and experiments but again never had a bad experience. It's not nouvelle cuisine but you can count on it being good.Service is always good, and your coffee cup never runs dry.The building and interior have been around for a few years, but it is always kept clean and presentable. Parking is good and 3 sides of the building with easy access to the main street in Coolidge."

All of the previous reviews were outdated but we went with our gut and let me tell you...this restaurant did not disappoint at ALL!! First off HUGE shoutout to our server Noel! Noel was nothing short of exceptional! From the time we entered till dessert we had nothing but the best service! Noel was extremely knowledgeable regarding the menu items as well as the desserts! I couldn't have picked a better place to go for my late birthday lunch! The ambiance was very appealing! Intrigued to see this place at night with the fire pit aglow during the fall/winter seasons! We felt as if we stepped out of the desert for a short period of time! The name Legends says it all! From John Wayne to Willie Mays...they graced the presence of this fine place! I wish there were more advertisement about it as I've lived here in Casa Grande for a year and I literally happened upon it through Yelp, but the reviews weren't too inviting as they were outdated. I can definitely say we will be back!!"

Huge portion of grits and it was good. Also had a single pancake. I mean, if you're going to eat at Joe's *Pancake* House you better have a pancake, right? Yep, it was good.Joe's is another good breakfast (and lunch) diner here in Tucson. I recommend it.Side story: My everyday drive is a Corvette. I was wearing my Corvette cap. When I went to pay my bill, Brandon, who took my payment, nonchalantly said, "You know, we have a valet service that you could use next time and you won't have to worry about where to park." LOL Yes, he saw my car and saw my hat and put 2 + 2 together. So funny! Love that.I'll be returning. But I won't be taking advantage of their valet service. ;)5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money.4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business.3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Alicia C. "This is a great little spot. The place is much larger than it looks on the outside. It replaced bread and butter cafe. The menu is great as it has breakfast in the morning and does lunch at lunch time but does breakfast all day regardless. The breakfast menu is a classic diner one with shredded hash browns. The pies are a delight here. They have many different pie slices every day. I went to lunch with someone who ordered actual lunch and I got breakfast and they had everything available on the menu for both. The owner was our server and she was incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful. They were very busy at 1200 on a Tuesday. I would definitely go here again. Also, they have Cholula and Tabasco for those worried about hot sauces. I know there are a ton of mom and pop shop diners that serve breakfast, dinner, and pies and so many of them are good, but this one has heart and they stay very busy. I was extremely happy with portion sizes of my breakfast and lunch including the sides. You can always go to a well known spot like Denny's or IHOP but you just aren't going to get the same service and love in your food like a diner like Margie's. I will definitely be going back."

We sat outside on the deck, beautiful sunshine to keep us warm along with plenty of heaters on this January night. We ordered a couple bottles of wine for the table, simple wine but tasty, extremely reasonable at $24 a bottle. It is unassuming from the parking lot, Once you set foot inside you find a small diner with sock hop music playing. The owners son manning the grill and a friendly waitress ready to take your order. I have visited a couple times and both times I had quick service and excellently cooked meals. It takes a minute as there is just room for the one cook, but it's worth the wait. My favorite is the "Mikes Favorite Philly" It's a wonderful sandwich cooked in garlic butter and red wine reduction. Torched cheddar at the end provides a perfectly textured sandwich. My server was friendly but not only that, the entire staff worked so hard to take care of all the customers. In fact I couldn't remember which one was my server was because so many others stopped by to refill coffee or something. Price was very affordable.
