"Came here for dinner after visiting the Cozy Claw next door, and soooo glad we did! The food was awesome, everything tasted great, we got the margherita pizza, eggplant hero, and garlic knots. Our kids split bowtie pasta with marinara and a slice of pepperoni pizza, which they both LOVED. The service was excellent and super friendly, great relaxing atmosphere, and it smells amazing inside. They were even nice enough to cut the slice of pizza into small pieces for my toddler! Wonderful all around, will be back for sure"

"I decided to try this place after work. I was STARVING!! The place was getting packed! I ordered ceviche appetizer (fish) for an appetizer. The guy informed me of the type of fish it was (don't remember the name). It was a flaky fish. Let's just say I'll order the shrimp next time lol. It wasn't bad, it didn't taste fishy at all, but I'd be more subtle with the shrimp next time. I inhaled it all. I forgot to take a picture of my main plate. I ordered 3 enchiladas (beef, shredded beef, chicken) with rice and beans. The shredded beef was pretty darn good! My food was really good! I inhaled that also. I wanted to get a desert but I was overly stuffed. I had to sit in the parking lot for a while and let the food settle. I will definitely come back and try more off their menu. And the Horcjhata was bomb!!"

"I will randomly crave this place at times and luckily its no too far from me. I have had their fresas con crema, frozen fresas con crema, escamochas, and ice cream. Everything taste wise has been pretty consistent. They serve Thrifty ice cream which is my absolute favorite. The escamocha is always pretty good and the fruit tastes fresh. The fresas con crema, both regular and frozen are bomb. We always make sure to add condensed milk, granola, and coconut.Service is ok. Sometimes they are friendly and sometimes they are not. Dining area has been clean the times we have stopped by. Prices are reasonable!"

"If you're looking for some high quality chocolate and don't mind spending a little money this is the place. I was out looking for a gift for my wife and she loves chocolate, I ended up at Monsoon and was quite impressed with their selection and quality. These chocolates taste amazing and look like little pieces of art. They packaged them up in a nice box and bag. I was worried they didn't label the flavors but they have a nice little online flavor guide. My wife was so happy with the chocolates and I'm sure we'll be back soon."

"Mona's baked goods are delicious and I'm so happy we have a bakery that makes Kringle, but the recent issues on my last visit were really problematic. We've ordered pastries and baked goods from Mona's for Christmas breakfast for years without issue, but this year when we arrived to pick up our order that had been placed more than a week before, we were told they didn't have any individual quiches. No apology and no explanation as to how this happened or why we weren't contacted so we could order something else. Instead, the woman who helped us was abrupt and unfriendly. I get that it's a busy time of year, but this left is scrambling on Christmas Eve to find an alternate breakfast item for one of our family members. (La Baguette for the win.)I've never had an issue with my order in the past, but I don't think I'll risk another situation like this in the future."

It may be useful for first-timers to know that this is indeed a little market & restaurant that's focused on very high quality food at very fair prices... it's by no means a formal or even semi-formal dining experience -- just a simple market ambiance with great people and fabulous food.I ordered a couple of entrees for take-out and it's true -- the portions are enormous(!!!), one could easily make two or maybe even three meals from the kebabs alone. I ordered one chicken and one teka (lamb) kebab and they were cooked and seasoned perfectly -- large tender pieces of chicken and lamb, melted in my mouth, small sides of sliced tomato and cucumber were fresh, ripe, and flavorful (it's more of a side to cleanse your pallet than it is a small salad, as a few other reviews have complained about). It's the kind of yummy goodness that you just want to keep eating even though you were full ten minutes ago! As for the market, it too is small but there are some excellent bagged spices that are much cheaper than you'd pay at a regular grocery store, and a nice selection of big bags of rice, steamers, tea pots, etc.If you like baklava, don't pass it up!Highly recommended and I plan on being a regular!"

"Sydney's pies were the best choice for our wedding desert! We decided to go with pie for our wedding instead of cake, and we are so glad we did! The process began with a private pie tasting, which was delicious and surprising, we ended up picking some flavors we weren't expecting. We chose a selection of 150 mini "party pies" in six flavors, and one full size pie to use for a "cake cutting" moment. Sydney's pies were delicious and the talk of the night and next day. We had hardly any pies leftover as people went for seconds and took some home as well. She even had options for our gluten-free and dairy-free guests. Everyone left happy, and especially us! You can tell that these treats are made carefully and with a lot of love. We would recommend Sydney's Sweet Shoppe for all your pie needs, especially if you're looking for a unique wedding dessert!"

The building is absolutely beautiful, it looks like a Mexican Hacienda, or what I imagine one would look like. Everything was clean and bright and welcoming.I came in and immediately asked for help because I had forgotten my nephew is vegan when I chose the restaurant. There were several servers at the hostess stand, brightly decorated in St. Patrick's Day accessories. They immediately started to look through the menu to try to help me find things that he could eat, and although there is not a vegan menu, per se, and no dishes that are specifically vegan, not only did we find plenty that he could eat, but the chef also offered several suggestions for what he could make for my nephew off- menu. This alone endears this restaurant to me! But all of the staff were helpful, friendly, and present, without being intrusive.I liked everything. The chips were colorful and good, the salsa was also good. The soft corn tortillas were absolutely delicious. I don't know if they make their own but I can't imagine that anything frozen would taste that good. I had Chili Rellenos, and it was amazing. Great consistency, beautiful presentation, and the chili sauce was the best I've had in a very long time. The rice was fluffy, flavorful, and not greasy. The beans were a really nice consistency and flavor, again not too oily and nothing unnecessary added. Nothing was too salty. In short, my meal was delicious.My sister had a sandwich. She was very happy with, which came accompanied by some fabulous fries. I had a couple, I'm partial to fries, dusted in cornmeal, so I was happy. My nephew had a delicious salad, and the chef added some avocado for him. We also got a side of guacamole for him , he was extremely happy with his meal.In short, I will definitely be back to this place. Great service, great food, accommodating, chef, beautiful atmosphere. Bravo!"

Last nachos were not offered on the menu. The dessert was amazing to end the dinner. If your visiting or from tucson and you haven't been its a must. Have to have it on your bucket list and if you miss it something is definitely wrong with you. Your missing out on amazing sonaran mexican food. The elote had good flavor, but was over cooked. Some of the parts were mushy. This could have been due to being a slow night or still working out their kitchen."

"I've been to many Rita's (mostly in GA and Long Island NY) I've always enjoyed my visits. This one was no different. The gentlemen behind the counter were very pleasant and put up with all of my "can I taste that one" without nothing less than a "of course" and a smile. I ended up getting a large mango/orange/mango ice. It was delicious and refreshing (I forgot to take a pic but it was piled high) and my friend got a cotton candy misto or blended I think and she enjoyed it. The sitting area was nice and clean. The bathroom was also. They even have a walk up window if you didn't want to go inside. This was another great Rita's experience in the books!"

"I love this spot....especially bc it's close to my house. It's a small dessert boba spot and wverytime I go there is this super sweet pregnant lady behind the counter rocking and rolling. My favorite usual is a mango taro smoothie with extra boba. It tastes just like fruit loops. It's so good. Now they will tell you that custom shakes are non refundable so mix and match at your own risk. Buuuut the mango taro is MY fave. I can't remember if they sell hot drinks...I don't recall. They have ice cream...it might actually yogurt...I haven't partaken in that yet. I tried the passion fruit Panna cotta for the first time and it was good. I love passion fruit and custard desserts even though the texture isn't my favorite. The Panna cotta was good to me. And they even gave me a free passion fruit yogurt to try....that's my breakfast today. I added in some granola and demolished it. So good. The Dessert Queen is my go to for boba. The service is always kind, quick, and welcoming. The store is always clean and they have games and stuff to encourage people to hang out. It's a really cute spot. Check them out!!!"

When dining in, there are fresh toppings to load up tacos and tons of drink options. The have a drive thru for quick visits and staff is always super helpful. I've noticed that tables inside could be cleaned in a more timely manner, but we'll definitely keep coming back."

It's well lit with super bright white LED lights to make sure you see what you're eating as well as taking really good photos of the food.The order:I was told by the cashier to get the El bandido as it was her favorite burrito! At 1st bite it had a weird sweet savory taste which got better towards the middle with the help of the green chili Reno, sour cream and Picco de Gallo. The tortilla was super soft and delicious. We also shared a taco which consist of tripa, cabeza, lengua and some greens on top - not a big fan of cabeza but this was really tasty - highly recommend.Overall:For a burrito shop this place takes 1st place in my books. They have a multitude of other treats (savory and sweet) and beverages as well (coffee, fruit juices, horchata, etc). The woman behind the counter was very pleasant and quick to assist us. The woman taking orders at the drive-thru window sounded like she would rather be anywhere else but there, displaying an unfriendly and bothered demeanor throughout the entire transaction.From the moment we pulled up to the speaker, it was evident that this employee lacked any semblance of customer service skills. Her responses were curt and lacked any hint of friendliness. It was as if we were inconveniencing her by placing an order. After each item we ordered, her robotic and annoyed voice would chime in with a monotonous "anything else?" that made us feel like we were burdening her with our choices. We decided to end our order and take our business elsewhere.It comes as no surprise that the reviews for this particular Eegees store are as low as they are. The abysmal service we received is not in line with the standards I have come to expect from other Eegees locations. It's no wonder that the store was practically empty on a bustling Saturday night in busier area of town.I strongly urge the management of this Eegees location to prioritize customer service training. It's clear that the current staff is not capable of providing a satisfactory customer experience. I sincerely hope that the management takes these criticisms to heart and works towards creating a more customer-centric environment. Until then, I cannot recommend this location. One star because 0/5 is not an option."
