"So trucking good!!! Ha! This food truck caught my eye driving thru the streets Gilbert. So I had to stalk it down to try it! They post their whereabouts across their social media pages. The tacos are delicious, they have a lil twist to them. The tortilla is a little thicker than the usual but makes perfect sense to hold all the goodness together. I got the platter so I could try EVERYTHING. I'm not a fan of mole, yet their mole braised pork tacos were so good! The pork belly taco was also great. It was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside! Shrimp taco, amazing! And had to try their churros, also didn't disappoint. This truck craters private parties or events! Can't wait to book them one day."
"What a great idea to have a Friday meal on the go. You can order for two or four people. You simply drive up and pick up your meal. You can also choose extras such as soup or dessert. The portions are large enough for even a couple more people. Everything was tasty and fresh. The chicken was juicy and tender. This is not always the case with chicken breast. I don't think I could even think of any way to improve on this meal. Now we will see what's in the menu for next week!!"
"Visited their truck at the Queen Creek Food Festival. Ordered the pull pork fries, and really liked it. First the pork was very tender, and burst with flavor. Second, the fries had it's moments also, and it with stood the BBQ sauce and did not get soggy. It was a great meal, and would like to see their truck there more often."
"We had Mama's Rican Kitchen cater our Winter Wonderland Event at work for 40 people. Deanna is delightful to work with on accommodating since we had 5 different food allergies to work around. She and her assistant came, set up, and even bought plastic utensils to match our color theme. We ordered:Caesar's salad, Arroz con gandules, empanadas, tostones, pernil, pollo and two cakes (confetti and pineapple upside down). Everything was delicious. Why 4 stars? I know our office is difficult to find sometimes, but they were 30 mins late and pushed our schedules around and we had to start and missed some team members."
"A huge shout out to JP and his wife! We used them for our wedding celebration at the beginning of December.JP is the best and provides excellent customer service from the get-go. Yes...he is and will admit he is more expensive than some of the other home taco grill people out there, but...I say you get what you pay for!We had chicken, pastor, carne asada, and veggie tacos, quesadillas, rice and beans, along with all of the fixings including chips and salsa! The food was amazing and not one complaint from any of our guests. We had 60 people in attendance and there was more than enough food for everyone to have as much as they wanted! And, we had leftovers, which they pack up for you. Only one small complaint from us...not our guests. We had asked to have dinner ready by about 4:45 and it wasn't ready until closer to 5:15ish but none of our guests complained and once dinner was served...it was so great. Their food is so good! Loved that things were mild for the non-spicy people and those who love spice had options to rev up the taste buds! JP takes care of everything! And once they cleaned up, you never knew they were there! He supplies everything and asked for nothing from us. We had a larger area on the side of house for his set-up and the way they had it arranged, there never was a long line for the guests. We may have pictures, which I'll post at a later date...we are still going through over 500 pictures from our wedding and celebration! Thank you JP! It was a fantastic experience!!!"
"I have had the pleasure of enjoying her mouthwatering meals on more than a handful of occasions now, but most recently I had appetizers and dinner prepared by Roxanne of Stillwater Catering this past Friday. As always it was flavorful and delicious! Previous events have included breakfasts, lunches, appetizers, dinners, pies, cookies, cakes, other treats & desserts and things I can't even remember. It's all been handcrafted and ALL made and from SCRATCH with fresh ingredients, intention, creativity, and the purest love put in every dish!!! I've never seen someone really enjoy preparing every single part of your meal as much as she does!! Even the way she sets up the atmosphere, it's not just a meal, it's an experience! (Wishing I had taken pictures but was so in the moment I forgot!!) From the simplest of things, to things I've never seen or heard of... It's ALL amazing! With that being said, I admit I am also the pickiest of eaters and I dislike most everything!! (not proud of that) but she has been great about it and making amazing dishes for us all but including small altered versions of it for just me! But seeing how much she puts into it all, I've even branched out and tried new things with her and somehow she makes everything I usually don't like taste good to me too. I already can't wait until the next time! I'm not quite done-- it gets better! Beyond her delicious food, Roxanne herself is the sweetest and kindest person you'll encounter!! In life, but also especially the service industry! I HIGHLY recommend Roxanne! You'll be so glad you've chosen her for your taste of heaven on a plate for any and all your events. Best wishes to all reading"
"Found this hidden gem walking through the Proper Shop and was just amazed at all the gluten free vegan options they had! With gluten and dairy allergies it's hard to find specialty desserts that actually taste like they should. The owner and her husband were very sweet and even gave some samples for me to try. I was so overwhelmed I wanted everything! Ended up with the blueberry cheesecake, pistachio rose crème pot and toffee. Needless to say, they were all to die for! Don't walk.. run to this place!!!"
"Had Big Daddy BBq ( catering service) as part of the Bluegrass and BBQ event at the Lavender Farm in Oracle.Went with friends and loved the catered meal. The BBQ meat was nice and smoky. Sauce was a mix of vinegar and sweet. Needed a bit more mix of spices but still delicious. Potato salad was fresh, cornbread was quite dry. Would try again at the next catered event."
"In home meal prep! Chef Kade does an awesome job helping prepare meals in our home. Preps, cooks, cleans does it all. Tailors all meals to personal preferences. We've had Chef Kade for 4 separate meal prep days and are very impressed. Would highly recommend for anyone with busy weekly schedules or in need of assistance with dinner parties."
"Matthew kitchen is the best. I highly recommend themMatthew kitchen is the best. I highly recommend them"
"If I could leave more than five stars I would. From our initial consultation with Doug I knew we were going to have an elevated experience. I could go on and on about the responsiveness, professionalism and attention to detail (intricately folded napkins, drink pairings, ect) but the food itself was the real deal. No smoke and mirrors, Max surprised us with delectable & mouth watering food for HOURS.We were served several courses of small plates poolside and accommodated a later than anticipated dinner service. At no point did they rush us or make us feel less than royalty, they made sure we took our time and enjoyed our evening. (Doug also gave us a lesson on opening a bottle of champagne with a kitchen knife, although optional.. 10/10 recommend)Do yourself a favor and skip the fancy restaurant, call these guys and wow several of your friends with this experience. Our menu was custom and it was so affordable. Doug and Max made this not only a fancy dinner, but an evening we won't soon forget. Thank you gentleman!! Will be talking about this with our friends for years to come."
"Was lucky to have them cater a promo event at the workplace. I admittedly have limited experience with sonoran dogs but this met my cravings well! A bacon wrapped frank topped with green salsa, cheese, and mayo--yum! Two aspects that would have made it better: if the buns were toasted and the cheese melted. But the awesome workers were meeting such a high output that these two things were likely not feasible in a reasonable amount of time."

So I'm tasting this food truck that is parked outside of Rift Wine Bar. I have yet to have a negative food experience here, and this is no exception. I'm a kid who always orders dessert first if the mood is right...I made the correct choice here. OMG, I want to go back and try the other 2 dessert options. The entire bar started asking what it was I was eating when I opened my order, and I would have politely shared if not for the COVID situation. The sweet lady running the food truck was absolutely amazing. She remembered my name and brought my food to me, I don't get this great of service in real restaurants sometimes, lol.I can't wait to come back the next time they're here!!

Wow! A friend let me know about this catering company. They have something called a hump day drive-through. You have to order on Tuesday night and then on Wednesday you pick up your order sometime between four and six and take it home to eat. Let me tell you this food was so good! I wish I had taken pictures but I forgot and we were all so hungry, I promise to do it next time. This week special was tri-tip - cooked perfectly and sliced thin, baby back pork ribs with barbecue sauce - excellent falling off the bone, green chili scallop potatoes - really good and u unique twist, Julienned mixed vegetables which were scrumptious and a fabulous salad too! This was my first time so a little nervous but oh my the food was so tasty and delicious. The staff I had contact with were friendly and kind. Great option if you don't want ti cook on Wednesdays! Can't wait to see what is on the menu for next week (hint: they post on Fridays)

I'm leaving this as a 5 star review because I didn't try their food and I don't want to mess with their scoring but I think it is important to share that I was very excited to give them a try tonight.I instead gave other food trucks my business because they were wearing masks while I saw at least one if not multiple people not wearing masks while working this truck. They were by no means the only ones not wearing masks but I think that is kinda wild while we are still in a pandemic. Just food for thought for the owners. It might be a statement or just lack of care but it kept me from wanting to buy food from them so I don't know if it was worth it.

As a confessed east coast foodie snob whose been spoiled beyond belief with vast varieties of home cooked ethnic grub, adjusting to AZ's significantly less diverse food scene has been rough... even nearly 10 years later. That's why I was happy to find about this up and coming catering/family lunch and dinner spot through a friend of a friend about a month back before they officially launched on Yelp. After my experience, I had to come on to share. Still delivery only vs. brick n mortar, Mama's accepts all forms of payment and does catering specials both large and small (think wedding to family meal for 4-6 people) and will also delivers individual orders thru doordash and her own IG/FB pages, text or phone call to listed number directly with zero to small delivery fee depending on your order size and location. Whether you have or have not had Puerto Rican food before, and no matter how high your standards for food in general, Mama's food is an undeniably delicious experience and great foodie newcomer to the very limited scene here in the east valley. Her pastelillos (empanadas) are divine pockets of meaty cheesy (or request to skip the cheese if you must!) goodness...all of her variations on rice are beyond flavorful with the perfect not-too-soft/not-too firm Goldie locks perfection...and don't get me started on her meats! Via my recent tailgate catering experience, I've tried the beef pastelillos, bistec, pollo and steak guisado, arroz con pollo, and fried chuletas (pork chops) and all are moist and tender with the right crispiness in the right places! I ordered the roasted pernil picnic family meal as extras to feed the fam after the party ended but my family ate it before I could try it! As if that weren't enough, Mama Deanna Navarro's story of moving to the valley from Cleveland, Ohio as a single 30's something mom with 2 daughters and working her way up to management levels at a big local bank before leaving the role 2 relocations later to return to the valley and pursue her passion of bringing her late grandma's recipes to life beyond the corporate potluck is almost as heart warming as her Boricua spin on her chicken tortilla soup (also tried this as an add on extra for family dealAnd it was excellent)! Huge bang for your buck (same prices as Hawaiian bbq Or Chinese and similar set up as entrees accompanied with salads and rice and beans and some delightful fried appetizers and Puerto Rican pu-pu platter type options) and I felt the portions larger and way more tasty overall.I highly recommend. Tip: if you have preferences or sensitivities, let mama know ahead of time as her seasonings are delightfully present. If you like it more bland, less salty for your high blood pressure, or extra spicy to an AS standard, just let her know! Mama prides herself on caring about what you like and catering to your needs so be picky!

We hired Perfect Saiz catering for my husband's retirement party. The food was incredible and the service was top notch. Our 60+ guests were impressed with the food and service. I heard nothing but positive comments all evening. JP and his crew were extremely professional, kind, and made sure everything was taken care of. I highly recommend them and will definitely hire them again for future events!

I hired Roxanne/Stillwater Catering to cook onsite at my house for a 2nd wedding reception (1st reception was out of state). Roxanne was so easy to work with to create the perfect passed appetizers, dinner and dessert for our event. She arrived with one other lady about 5 hrs prior to event time, and once she started cooking, the house smelled amazing (prime rib)! From the appetizers to the main course, the food was absolutely delicious. It's a scary thing hiring someone that you have not used before, as you don't want to find out at your wedding reception, that the chef wasn't that great. It's been 2 weeks since Roxanne and her team catered my reception, and I still hear today how wonderful the food was and how nice and accommodating all the staff was (4 more ladies showed up later). Staff was amazing and super sweet, but honestly...the food...all the food was so delicious; I couldn't be happier. The prime rib was the best I have ever had! I can't recommend Roxanne enough, and I will definitely use her for any future events I have.

My husband and I were so happy to find this little dessert shop tucked in amongst artist galleries in downtown Tucson. Perfect place to stop after dinner or before a theater event. Their desserts on display were gorgeous and the taste was even better. We tried the Peanut Butter Pie and the German Chocolate Truffles. Very tasty and rich and my husband and I were very happy with our selections. I will definitely go back!

"Chorizo Benedict - spectacular! Beautiful weather and we sat outside on barstools looking into the restaurant...I really enjoyed the activity of the staff and all the patrons - packed house!!! The food delivered such a wonderful experience :-) Finally, the Military Discount made for a great time Thank You!"
"I've never had a bagel I didn't love from Bubbe's. I drive clear across town for them because they're that good. Service is always fantastic, even when they're packed. Seating is limited but when you can find a spot outside, the vibes are immaculate on beautiful fall & winter mornings in Tucson."
"Things started off good with Dana being responsive and great to work with. However, when it mattered most, Dana fell down. He showed up an hour late to deliver the food for the baby shower I was hosting which meant we were setting up the food table while guests were arriving. He also made a last minute change to an ordered dish and the plates were sloppily presented. Overall the food was acceptable but nothing special."
"The paella was absolutely delicious and Fabiola and her staff was very professional. I would highly recommend."
"I'm giving this five stars because the food is really really good. The ambience however could use some work. It's one very big room with very bright lights. The service was good. The young waitress who served us was very pleasant, but she spoken a very quiet voice. She was hard to hear. The prices were reasonable. And I would definitely go back again."
"Might be our favorite in Tucson.Wide variety of toppings and that crust is just sublime.... crispy on the outside with a perfect chew. Their wings and salads are also exceptional. Hot tip: don't stress parking; take the CLITT from the Mercado before or after some shopping."
"We tried this restaurant our first week in town after a relocation move. We were craving Mexican food. The place was busy but we were seated promptly and served chips & salsa along with water. We ordered drinks first. I had the shredded beef chimichanga and we split a cheese crispy. Everything was great, beans, rice, chimichanga, and crispy. The restaurant had a nice vibe to it, clean and inviting. The staff was very friendly and kind. Our order was presented exactly as we ordered it. My only "con" was the prices. One beer, ice tea, chimichanga entree and cheese crispy was $48 before tip. I know pries are higher these days, but for the size of the dishes, this was higher than most other places. Overall, great, but the reason for the rating I gave was the high prices. We will return."
"OH.MY. Goodness. This place makes BOMB tacos. They're setup as a pop up tent, NOT a food truck! I had one taco in each of their styles on corn tortillas:Al Pastor- Marinated porkBarbacoa- Marinated braised beef Rajas- creamy tomatillo-poblano peppers, oinons, queso fresco & crema The beef was perfectly tender and had great flavor. I'm normally just meh on pork, but the flavor and texture of those were perfect. Pork was deff. my fave.Fresh horchata with just the right amount of cinnamon. I'll be tracking their tent down again."
"Review update: This review is for the Bodega and their food menu. I've reviewed them previously (also 5-stars) for catering orders. I can't believe it took me so long to actually go the Bodega and check it out. What a gem! The shop is packed with goodies, all either made onsite or from other local bakers and purveyors. You'll find an array of baked goods, bread, confections, locally made chocolates, cookies, biscotti and much more. There is also a freezer packed with take home meals that range from meatloaf to soup and even pies and danishes. Additionally, there is a small selection of books, jewelry, and other craft goods. The Bodega has a couple small tables if you wish to enjoy your meal there, but the business is largely set-up for takeout. Their food menu is fantastic. They have various salads, a burger torta, soups, and more. We ordered the ahi tuna which was served on a bed of warm kale with pears and ginger, and a chili sauce. It was so flavorful! We also ordered the salad duo which was served with a three bean salad and a fennel salad. I love salads and these were perfection! Super fresh, crunchy and flavorful. We also ordered the St. Patrick's Day corned beef meal with soda bread. It was divine! Everyone in our family raved about it. It came with easy warming instructions as well. You can taste the love in the food here. Gallery of Food is a true gem!"
"Worked with La Chica Loca for two family parties that we hosted. Everyone raved about the tacos and sides! They were easy to work with and very professional! We also referred them to a friend for a wedding and she said La Chica Loca was a hit! Don't forget to stop by the Gilbert Farmer's market and sample their yumminess!"
"There is a pitmaster in the house! Had there Bbq today and it was legit, thick pieces of tender juicy chicken, awesome hot links, multi colored beans cooked perfectly, pulled pork with a grest smoke ring and tasty char, coleslaw bomb, 5 stars hands down the best bbq meal ive had in Az so far"
"I've been seeing the FB invitation for a month now and finally made it in.I got a cinnamon roll and lemon cake. The cinnamon roll is huge! Glad hubby wanted to share! Bruno our boxer was more than willing to help us out too!Not sure as to what to expect- walked into a huge area for everything listed on flyer. Keep an eye out- there is going to be a lot of fun things happening beginning in August!"
"The food sucks. They do wildland fire catering and it tastes terrible. I'd rather stave. Undercooked meat most nights. Are they trying to kill firefighters?"
"Our company, Baird Wealth Management was looking for a caterer for an anniversary luncheon. The food was delivered on time and hot. Communication was good throughout the process. Auque can make anything if not on her menu.Everyone loved the food and many commented that they would like her to cater in their homes. The fried chicken and corn bread were the favorites and the BOOM!Don't pass up this caterer. If you are looking for homecooked, down home food, Auque can cook it up for you."
"Great choice if you are looking for a great food! We ordered from them for our little event. My wife lived their food so much she is looking for an excuse to start another gathering so we can order more food from them. Their prices are fairly good for the portion of food you are getting. They are very friendly and understanding when you tell them about your event and what you need for your party. I highly recommend them for your next event."
""Chris's catering along with Marcos outrageous cake was perfect. The catered dinner with Chef Chris' included rosemary lemon chicken (knock out!) and killer side dishes (Peruvian potatoes with all sorts of yummy herbs, grilled red peppers and asparagus) went over early well with our diverse crowd. (It's hard to meet everyones needs but I think he actually did!) The appetizers were stylish healthful and so plentiful that they could have been a meal within itself. Great portion sizes and the price was very reasonable. Our office wished Chris and staff could cook for us every night."-- Lauri K ."
"I had big jakes at a wedding a couple weeks ago and it was fabulous! So yummy with all the toppings you could ever dream of. Highly recommend!!"
"The owner of this truck used to cook out of a kitchen in a dive bar a while ago and it was always a treat to have some delicious late night food after working at the brewery down the way. Now his truck is parked around town throughout the week and it is awesome when it's in your neighborhood. He can make a variety of food and it is all GOOD! I've had his lo-mein and fried rice, wings and recently his pastrami eggrolls. We ordered 1 order of eggrolls and then luckily changed our mind at the last minute and shared two amongst four of us. Basically they're pastrami, swiss and kraut in wonton wrappers deep fried and served with a side of 1000 island. They are so great and go very well with several beers. We were so excited to see this truck at Danny's and hope they continue to go there in the future."
"Now, she lies in response to my review. I, too, have all emails to back up ALL of my allegations. She received a check for the remaining 8% and she know it. Here is the email to prove she received full payment. From Susanna..."And to top it all off, you know I don't accept checks. More complaining from him as well. I dont accept checks because they tend to bounce or the account all of a sudden gets closed. And I get stuck with the fees."Never was I told you don't accept checks until the day of the event. You can clarify the funds are there by a simple phone call to the bank. If you choose to not cash it, that's on you. But, I follow through on signed contracts unlike yourself. What a joke. Anyone interested in seeing emails backing up ANY of my statements may contact me here. I would be happy to share and prove my dissatisfaction with her I professionalism. The BBB also has this."
"My master's program at the UofA through CAPLA often uses the Blue House to cater our events.. food is always impeccable, with tons of vegetarian options! Food is always beautifully plated, and freshly made. They make a mean cheese/deli platter options, as well as wonderful veggie platters. I also really enjoy their chicken/mozzarella kabobs and dolmas platter!"
"Billy and his talented team catered our wedding and did an incredible job! Our guest list included vegans, cattle ranchers and everyone in between, and he created a menu that not only pleased everyone, but they RAVED about the food. The staff were extremely professional and absolutely lovely. I would highly recommend Tucson Creative Catering. Pro tip: don't micromanage the menu...he will come up with a delicious medley of offerings that will be a huge hit with everyone."
"Placed an Ubereats order and the food was delivered within 15 minutes. It arrived warm and smelled delicious. They had a special of buy one get one so we ordered the thigh and breast combo with rice and macaroni salad (Mexican style!) as sides. And an extra side of refried beans. Each order comes with three tortillas. We choose flour. The chicken was very flavorful the bean tastes like my grandmas beans. The macaroni salad had me feeling like I was at a quinceañera everything was very authentic tasting."
"Amazing!!!! Located at a Circle K's parking lot on the far east side of Tucson, this little place always has a steady run of traffic. Why? Because it's good!Operating out of food truck that doesn't move a lot (they do special events and catering, though), this unassuming place throws out some great Mexican food. Don't let the name fool you. There are also burritos and quesadillas, as well as birria tacos. You want vegan? They've got that, too. There is a table available if you want to dine al fresco and watch the traffic go by (there are also the Rincons and Catalinas to look at). Now, let's talk the food - we had carne asada, as I arrived too late for shredded beef or birria. My husband had the taco plate - three tacos, picked onions mixed with white onion (the onion was a negative for him) beans, rice, hot salsa, and limes. I ordered the carne asada burrito and a bean and cheese burrito for us to split. Everything was delicious! The meat was in small, flavorful pieces. The tortillas were incredible, and the burritos were grilled on a flat top after being filled. And, they probably weighed over a pound each. Worth the wait? You bet it was! We will return, and we'll try to get there early to be able to try the shredded beef."
