"The mesquite bbq sauce was outstanding. I ordered the 4 piece bbq. I got brisket, pulled pork, tritip and hot links with four sides. This is enough food for at least four meals. It came with 4 sides. Everyone was a home run. Perfectly cooked with a great Smokey flavor. I got onion rings as one of the sides and they were just like I like them. Great batter that didn't fall apart. I took the beans and Mac and cheese sides home with me.My friend got the catfish special and ate it all. Said it was one of the best catfish dish he ever had and it came with coleslaw and ff. He did mention that the ff were a little soggy but good.The person taking orders was friendly and very helpful. She explained the daily special and said it changed daily ( the daily specials are on their website ).We ate on their patio because their small dining room was full. Very nice patio. My friend said that the restroom was very clean and heated on this brisk day. I would highly recommend it for fans of Texas style mesquite bbq."

Ordered the burger of the month which was a Poblano burger, food arrived quickly & I really enjoyed the crunchy/crispy edges of the 2 smash burger style patties. I prefer a more well done burger & this one was perfect. Bun & toppings were fresh, it wasn't a towering huge burger & didn't fall apart thanks to the large toothpick holding it together. Inside the restaurant was quiet & clean, about half full. I'd recommend this to any burger lovers & Will be back to try more from the menu. It was $14.99 for just the burger which is a little pricey, but it was an outstanding burger."

Definitely got our money's worth. The staff was ver personable. The restaurant is decorated in a modern vacation-like motif. Very clean. The baklava was decent. I'm not a connoisseur of baklava. We are in the area for the winter. We plan on visiting again soon."

The Chicago style beef sandwich is my favorite. I get it dry with the sauce on the side. You can get sweet or hot peppers. "My first visit to this spot.. I found parking on 4th Avenue and picked the closest place to grab a bite. It was about 6pm so the bar was not packed or busy with the younger crowd from UofA but they were getting ready for a comedy show later in the evening.I grabbed a seat at the bar .. the space is dark and goth .. black leather bar stools & a fully stocked bar. Plenty of seating and a stage in a side room for shows.I opted for the Prickly Heat cocktail .. the bartender said it was hot .. it was spicy hot .. jalapeño & habanero hot with prickly pear sweetness and a tajin rim... so good and the prettiest shade of pink. From the food menu of tacos, burgers, appetizers I decided on the Royale burger & a side of tots. It came out quickly and wow it was juicy, flavorful and served on a buttery bun. Great burger!!! The tots were great too, not greasy at all, they were served with ranch and ketchup. Unfortunately I had to drive back to Phoenix and hate driving through the dark desert so I didn't stay for another cocktail or the comedy show but I will definitely be back."

There's a nice outside seating area with heat lamps and an outside bar. Our service was good, and the food was great! My friend didn't love her PB and J sliders, but we had beers, and happy hour pretzels with cheese that were thick and fluffy, there was an herb in the cheese sauce that I would have preferred not be there, but it was still so good! I had the juicy lucy and cole slaw - the cole slaw was thick cut and creamy - excellent! The burger was cooked perfectly, and the melty cheese inside hit the spot along with the beer! "Ok. The reviews aren't lying. There are some challenges. The ladies that work here are very friendly and deserve all the praise. Food is typical for a spot like this. Not Michelin Chef but also not Applebees. Fair enough. My service has always been excellent. As someone who is trying to convince my sports fanatic friends this is better than cogburns. I would say it fails. ONLY because the projector and TV situation is not a priority. Went to watch college football playoffs and the projector was down. I heard this is normal. Unacceptable to any true sports fanatic. Sports should be the priority. You couple this with good service and you'll get my money 4/7 nights week. My recommendation is to ownership. Invest 1000$ in upholstery for the booths. Fix the projector and it's going to pay for itself. Marina and the other gals are exceptional. 4 stars for service. That's it."

"We stopped in after setting up our both upstairs. One of the owners are a sweet couple and so so friendly. They had karaoke which made it fun. I had the cod dinner and it was awesome. We are from the Midwest and have had a hard time finding a good beer batter fish fry. My husband had the Hatch green chili burger and also enjoyed his food. We were impressed by both the owners stopping at our table to welcome us and thank us for stopping in. It was truly a great experience. Our waitress was also very attentive. Everyone was wearing a mask and it was a clean place."
