"Excellent little gem for scrap metal in Tucson. Forget going to the big box stores when this is available. Love that they offer this at an incredibly decreased cost to the public; they'll even cut metal for you to your exact size.Their formula is based on weight. For example I was looking for stainless steel. You can buy it at $.50 a pound or, non-magnetic at $1.50 a pound. I do cast iron restoration so this just might be my newest go-to place. Super friendly service and a welcoming mindset to the whole public. Once a month they open up a different section to the 'artists' where the other side of the reclamation yard is available for projects. They have much more odd sized metal pieces there. Pretty cool place considering the point to revive metal for a reduced sale price. Way to think eco!!"

"I had a wonderful experience with these guys, from purchase to delivery. I drove out to the Rita yard because it was a Sunday and they were the only place in town open. I brought some rocks from my yard, handed them to the guy behind the counter, and he said this looks like a Coronado 1/2 inch blah blah blah, and showed me what he was talking about and they looked very similar. I had done no prep work and thus had not measured a single thing - I asked the guy helping me what a ton of gravel looks like, and he said he was like a bath tub full, which was helpful but I think that his bath tub must be a jacuzzi tub with jets because we def do not have the same size bath tub! So anyways, I ballparked and said gimme 7 tons of gravel for my side yard/dry lake thing in my yard. He said if you get home, you can measure and call us back, and we can change it. Naturally I completely did not, so 7 tons of gravel it is! So anyways, the delivery guy calls me right on time (Thursday at 1015, for delivery around 1030-11). So the deliver guy gets here, and I said look, I would love if you could split the gravel half in my front yard, half in the back, but the back yard has a real obstacle course with a gas line, some telephone poles, etc. He says hey, let's give it a try, worst case scenario we have to put it all in front. He did some serious gymnastics and got the truck practically on my side yard which was amazing. Then he brought the truck round and dropped the rest in the front. Smashing work, and is definitely going to be a life saver! All that to say I am super thrilled with these guys - very friendly at all points, and I am super pleased with the product. Will go here for all my gravel/rock/boulder needs."

"I'm really unsure on how they're rocking a 3 star rating. Make sure to bring two things with you if you're looking to purchase stone to cover areas like your front or back yard: Measurement in sq ft, and a sample of rock if you're trying to match. I did both and ordering was a breeze with fair prices, ended up with 9 tons of half inch rock. They setup delivery for the date and 4 hour time window requested. They were great to call me the day before to verify the order and call prior to the delivery. They got a flat tire and were a few hours later than expected, but they were polite and communicated consistently to update me on the plan. Definitely would recommend and would be a return customer!"

"I stopped in here with my dog (love any store my dog is welcome). We walked around just to check it out. The prices didn't seem like a deal - seemed average to high. There was a table with stuff people were picking over. I didn't stop to rummage with them. The style also seems average for the most part - nothing stood out as anything other them boxy, 1990s furniture. I didn't find a few pieces but you have to walk slowly to find them. Staff was friendly, no one offered to help me find anything or asked if I had any questions."

Good price and nice selection.Kind of funny, but they sell their bricks and pavers to Lowe's and Home Depot, so for those who like to shop at the "main store", both of the aforementioned are the middle guy in this equation. Save yourself some time and effort and more importantly money, and buy from the supplier.They are located just a hair past Castro Electric, and then turn left down pond lane."

"I stopped by today to get some sand but they were already closed (closed by 2 on Saturday) but outside there was a manicured display of gravels, and also a shelf full of soils, composts, sands, and gravels. All were labeled with more information than you'd even think to ask, as well as with the price! Next to this display is a box full of business cards. They also display free shipping on their signage. So you could effectively make your selection, and then just call to order and have it delivered. I'll be ordering the sand I need soon."

Because of the way they saw and stack the lumber in the same order, it's possible to get pieces that are consecutive, allowing great grain bookmarking. Each piece is dated so you know how long it has been drying, and the price is marked as well."

"To the many that might consider this business be aware, this is NOT your Big Box store! Therefore, come with your visit knowing that this place is ALL EXTERIOR, sun and rain worn, period. This place shouldn't be expected to come with perfection, anywhere! It is a USED items 'store' per se. With that in mind, some items have reasonably decent prices (you have to look!) and many others are a bit on the top end which dissatisfies many. Take it for what it's worth...I found all employees polite and assistful. I didn't try bargaining but I suppose it's worth a try. Items are somewhat unorganized but if you ask someone, they'll guide you to a specific area if they've got it. Not a bad place by no means, but prices could be a tad better IMO. I enjoyed my visit, and now know the majority of their stock. It's worth a visit just so you know their inventory since there aren't many of these store around town per se."
