"We love Gilbert and the food scene! Liberty Market has been on our list and we finally came for breakfast on 7/13/24 for my birthday. They open at 8am so we surprised to see how busy they were at 8:05am when we arrived - about 80% full inside. The hostess said that there is often a line when they unlock the door. We understand why. There's a lot to like about the Liberty Market. It's historic, the atmosphere is fun, there is inside & outside seating, the onesy bathrooms are all decorated different, everyone is so friendly and customer service oriented and the food is great! We ordered the demi-breakfast - one with pancakes, sausage and fried eggs and the other with blueberry pancakes, bacon and scrambled eggs. The eggs were yummy with a nice orange yoke. We are really fussy about pancakes and these are in our top three! We liked the sausage, but loved the bacon. Our server, James was terrific and we also really enjoyed talking to one of the managers named Harry. Harry was great to give us a little historical background on Liberty Market. We plan to come back on Tuesday for my husband's birthday breakfast! The cinnamon roll looks pretty good! We may have to try them! Our"
"I recently went to Prep & Pastry for their Galentines event. The whole place was set up with pink table runners and matching pink silverware and plates, which gave it such a cute vibe. The strawberry chai tea was the best I've ever had, and I definitely hope they keep it on their regular menu. The little tea sandwiches and sweets were also delicious. I hope to see more themed events like this!"

"Not sure how I feel about this place anymore. THEY DON'T SHOW PRICES ANYWHERE, why? Please post prices on the website or something. Also, I had about 5 drinks of my 20oz coffee because it's all ice. I'm all about supporting local businesses, and I get inflation, but I feel a little cheated."
"We stopped into Crackers & Co for brunch. We felt fortunate to sit down right away since the parking lot and restaurant were both pretty full. The service was friendly and efficient. I had the 2-2-2 breakfast that came with eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Their menu is fun and creative. I saw a few things I would like to come back and try."
"Absolutely delicious and the ambiance matches the food perfectly.I dragged my mom here the other day when P&P was closed, and I was reminded of why this place is so well love here in Tucson. My chai was spiced and like a warm hug.My chicken was perfectly fried and everything on the plate made sense and was delicious. And I will have dreams about their chocolate cake Not a single complaint. Our meal was amazing."
"It's a restaurant based on bread. Once you understand that- then you can digest all the offerings. The name sounded Italian to me so I was thinking pasta and my daughter kept saying they have really good sandwiches. We came the night before on a drive by and people were waiting outside in a cluster. It was pouring rain so we were not going to do that. (We called the next day for an early reservation to get in and try the place-which was successful!)Their main thing is these clever flavor combinations of Bruschetta. You can order a board of four flavors-each one cut into 4 slices for the table to try each flavor. Philly 5/5Pear/fig jam/goat 5/5Pepper jelly and cheese 5/5BLT? 5/5They had a lot of wine for sale in there like wine store. We didn't get anything to drink but water. Probably a good place to wine taste. For our mains we all got a different sandwich on focaccia. (Ciabatta is the other option) the Focaccia was super fluffy and delicious. Tuna was delicious.Turkey looked amazing and the few tastes I had were great. The French dip I had was messy. Okay in flavor but too little meat, too much aioli, and maybe not the right choice. I had to switch to fork and knife and eat only one side of the sandwich (removing one bread half.). I love French dip and so maybe the ciabatta would be better but maybe a different sandwich is the way to go.We had a very welcoming staff and waitress. Put us in a cozy booth by the kitchen. There is a big bar that is open to outside seating and tables as well."
"It's been a few years since I've been here, because I had moved but recently came back to the area. Sunnyside was one of my favourite places for breakfast/brunch. Unfortunately, when I cam back to this location, the service we received was quite awful. There may have only been on server on a weekday morning, but initially there were only three tables occupied at the time we were making our order. The server misinterpreted our order and only brought us a single side item instead of the meal with the side we asked for. Without checking on us, the server then just gave us the bill. We noticed the bill only had one item, so we waited for him to come back and pointed out that we actually ordered a meal. The server was not apologetic and instead insinuated it was our fault for misleading him. When the meal finally came up, he did not bring us any extra plates to help us share, which we did specify we were going to do when we ordered both the first and second time we placed the order. Our server also never bothered to come back and offer us an extra plate while we were eating and clearly having trouble over one plate. We were so put off but the poor service that we did not want to trouble our server more by asking for additional plates. It seemed like every request we made was met with a literal sigh. The food and coffee were admittedly very good, so props to kitchen for that, but the service that day was appalling. We still tried to be friendly, but our server still could not give us the time of day."
"Good food as always but something has changed as the food looked and tasted different today and we've been here many times. Has the chef changed maybe? New owner? Anyway, still good ambiance and good service."
"I had an impromptu lunch here a few weeks ago with a friend, and while it wasn't my choice to come here, the food was a pleasant surprise.I was in the area and needed a lunch spot and asked my friend to choose, so this is where we ended up.We walked in, and this place was packed with people, so that's a good sign! Means meals are being made and lots of them! Which usually means fresh! I, unfortunately, have some tummy issues, and for some reason, there seems to be a pattern that when I do eat spicy Mexican, things start to go awry. I love Mexican, but my tummy puts up a protest, so I try to limit my intake.Anyhow, I was a little worried I would have a flare up, but I tried to stay positive. What caught my eye was the special of the day of tamale de elote. I love tamales and usually can handle those as they tend to be milder and you can choose to add spicy or not. I think this dish came to $8.95 or so and came with 2 tamales, rice, beans and chips and salsa, and the portion was large.I really liked the tamale de elote and had lunch for the next day too and no tummy flareup! Win-win! This is a grab and go place with some seating inside and outdoors. I'd definitely come back for their tamales again!"
"Teaspoon is one of my favorite spots to go for breakfast. It's worth the wait everytime. I went twice over the last week and Tyler was my server the first time and Benni was my server the second time. Both these gentleman were amazing, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu. I went to have drinks and Benni gave great recommendations on the cocktail menu. Tyler was great with espresso upsells - the red eye was great! Add avocado to the crab cake bene - Tyler insisted and he was right! It's an nice restaurant with a lot of light and the option to sit in or outside and at the bar. Would definitely recommend from anything from a date to a quick bite solo. I'll definitely be back for bottomless mimosas!Egg parfait, breakfast pizza, herb French toast, crab cake bene, and bubble waffle are my recommendations!"
"AWESOME Everytime. This food is amazing. We are from NM and this is truly New Mexican food to a tee!"
"Reviewing The Oink Cafe Tucson Rating: 5 out of 5 Address: 7131 E Broadway Blvd Hours: Everyday 7am-2pm Happy Hour: Mon-Fri: 7-10am ($5 mimosas, bloody marys, specialty drinks, and draft beers.) Also, $2 off flights.Number of people eating: 2 adults and 2 children.Atmosphere: Very clean inside and inviting, wasn't busy at all for 12:30, few families eating. Music they had playing was at a comfortable volume. It was relaxing and AC worked well so it wasn't hot inside at all. They have a nice seating area outside as well if you choose. Staff: Got greeted right away, seated quickly, our waitress was Ciarra and she was absolutely lovely and checked on us frequently and was very friendly and always had a smile on her face. There was 2 other guys working and they were very friendly and nice as well. Even had couple small conversations with them as well. Food: 1. Carne Asada Benedict: Little spice to it, perfect eggs on top, very very delicious! Fries were fresh and hot and the ranch was very good with it! 2. Waffle with toast: Very tasty, waffle was nice and airy with a little crunch to it. Kiddo loved it and ate all her food which is rare 3. Veggie Omelet: Added mushrooms to it. Was tasty but needed salt, overall very tasty. The biscuit was fluffy and tasted really yummy! The hasbrowns were so-so. 4. Chicken strips and fries: Chicken strip were juicy and not dry at all, fries were hot and fresh as well. Total before tip for number 1 & 2 with drinks: $32 Total before tip for number 3 & 4 with drinks: $30"

We needed a place to have lunch for my husband's birthday and decided to try Liberty Market. For a Sunday, it was super easy to book. I found an open reservation for 12:30 and got in to a table quickly. We were in a booth for 2 kids and 4 adults and just fit. My dad ordered a burger, my mum the Asian salad, my husband ordered the breakfast burrito, the kids did a Mac & cheese and a grilled cheese whilst I ordered the chicken pasta. My mum is especially picky but really enjoyed her salad. My dad thought the burger was good. The burrito was lacking flavor and didn't have much meat in it. My pasta was okay, I just wouldn't order it again. My kids absolutely loved their meals, one even quoting that it was the best grilled cheese she has ever had. We wanted to try the cinnamon roll but it had already sold out. We added one latte to our order and that latte was great. The bathrooms were clean and had a baby change station. Service was great- a manager even came by to share her bright smile and happiness with us. I would definitely come back and try more items on the menu.

The whole experience was very good! Out waitress I believe her name was Madison, she was very sweet and did her job well. The food was absolutely amazing and delicious. I loved how the biscuits had herbs and cheddar inside them, gave it more flavor! My girlfriend loved her omelette as well. We came around 10:30am and it was a tad busy but not bad and the flow of the workers seemed relaxed and not rushed at all. We will definitely be back again. Also, very clean inside and outside. Very pleasant experience.

Barista Del Barrio is simply the BEST burrito in Tucson! Their coffee is very high quality as well (I love the peanut butter flavor!) I always go here post Tumamoc Hill and it hits the spot every time. The owners truly care about the community of Tucson and I love that it is a family-run business. Also the outdoor seating area is so cute, really captures the eclectic vibe of Tucson!

Great food! The spicy breakfast skillet is delicious! Large portions of carnitas and sauce. Great service too! Very personable. We went on a Sunday at 1030 and it was busy but we were seated right away. It's larger than one might expect inside. Great spot

"Brunch goes with drinking culture like peanut butter goes with jelly. Not only did brunch popularize day-drinking, but it's also the genesis of several popular daytime cocktails, including the Mimosa and Bloody Mary. It is actually attributed with spreading the practice of mixing alcohol with juices. In the early to mid-1900s brunch offered a platform for socially acceptable day-drinking." ― boredwalk.comWhere else can you buy a quartz crystal, a cactus Christmas tree ornament, and a strawberry hair clip with your brunch?Flowers for Alvernon ($10 - Agave tequila, grapefruit, fresh mint, lemon, agave hibiscus syrup with a Tajin rim): The perfect drink to start your summer's day. It's been a while since I've had a well-balanced cocktail and who would have thought that this cozy eclectic brunch spot in Tucson would have me enthusiastically cheersing with everyone at the table? The flavors worked and kept me cool while we dined al fresco under a giant yellow umbrella. Blackened Shrimp and Grits ($15 - Buttery country-style grits with blackened shrimp and creole sauce): Who wouldn't want a plate of crusted seared shrimp and buttery grits? This hit all the savory notes I was craving that morning and thinking about that gorgeous char on the shrimp has me salivating as I type up this review.Leave your diet at the door. Their menu has so many great items that I wanted to try, so I guess that means I'll be back! Don't forget to stop by their gift shop on the way out. I saw plenty of things that are perfect for gift giving.

Cool spot with a good vibe. I've been here a few times for various occasions. The Monday/Tuesday late bruschetta board and bottle of wine is a great value. The bruschetta has a few different types of offerings with various toppings. Happy Hour is before 5 PM and it's a pretty good deal. The service here is good most of the time.

I can't say enough Sunny Sunnyside Café has an awesome breakfast served daily. I normally get either the Chimi supreme or the cinnamon roll pancakes eggs, and bacon. Service is always awesome. The place is kind of the old café vibe. Try it out you'll love it.

We walked in a bit disgruntled from an earlier experience elsewhere and walked out raving Maynard's fans. So grateful to their team for creating such a lovely experience for us and redeeming our night out.The patio is lovely. The asparagus ferns created such a whimsical, fresh feeling. The food was heavenly. We all tasted each other's and ranked the dishes. Here are our rankings:1. Swordfish 2. Arroz Y Pollo or Hiyashi Chuka Steak 3. Vegan MoleAs for the desserts:1. Passion fruit/pineapple custard- YUM 2. Blue Corn Pound Cake Our waiter was delightful as well. Didn't get his name, but he was tall, tatted and charming. Will definitely be back next time we're in town!

"Let's talk food - that's what we go out to dinner for, right? We ordered: Cadillac margaritas Quesabirria & Ramen soup Ouesabirria taco with caldo Street tacos - beer battered shrimp and Jass (asada, green chili & cheese) The food was AMAZING! Our margaritas on the rocks were perfect - with house made mix that's not too sweet or tart. I can't begin to say how good their Birria caldo & ramen soup were! I always think the Birria I'm eating is the best. Well, I was dead wrong because the Birria here is the best. My husband's Birria ramen soup was loaded with juicy beef Birria, consommé, and ramen noodles. My taco was stuffed with meat & cheese and came with a cup of consommé for dipping I also had two street tacos and the shrimp were huge! Our server was Martha and she was so friendly & attentive. We sat on the patio and it was a bit chilly outside, but we were under cover and it was pretty cozy. We come to Tucson every year and we will be back here. We were also very impressed with their breakfast menu which has a bunch of Mexican breakfast/brunch entrees that looked and sounded delicious. We'll be back!"
"Cafe A La Cart has always been a longtime favorite of ours, but we recently hosted an event here and the staff, food, ambiance, and service just really blew us away. We hosted my sister's bridal shower at Cafe A La Cart this last weekend and it was quite literally the most perfect event space. The long foyer, multiple rooms, spacious main room, dynamic bar, and stunning patio were easy to set up in and loved by our guests. Hanna, the event coordinator was extremely helpful and attentive, as was her staff. The entire Cafe A La Cart team made us feel heard and executed our vision perfectly. The food served was delicious - we had turkey burger sliders, potato wedges and salad - our guests delighted in the food. We also had a "mimosa bar", with several flavored mimosas, as well as tea, lemonade, water and coffee. The bridal shower was an absolute dream, and our guests were beyond impressed. Thank you Mark + staff - we cannot wait to come back!"
"My buddy and I wanted someplace healthy shortly after lunch on a Sunday. It was busy but not so busy that we had to wait for a table. The server was patient and attentive. He had some strong recommendations, which is always appreciated, as I rarely order by looking at the menu.I had the Ahi Tuna Melt and it was pretty good. I personally would have appreciated some jalapeños, or hot peppers. They had a relatively large selection of healthy-type foods. I say "healthy-type" because they looked healthy-ish but I haven't tried them, yet, so I don't know.I could definitely see going back!!"
"Food was amazing, service was attentive, and the ambiance was great. We were outside in January, so it wasn't too warm out. We were visiting from out of state, and I can confidently say that my partner and I will be coming back next time we're in Tucson."
"We love us some Poco and Moms! Been here multiple times and it's all good. Drinks, food, apps, vibe... everything! We love the patio when the weather allows, which is often. Never had a bad experience with service either. We'll keep going as long as they keep doing what they're doing!"
"Mojo Cuban in Tucson offers a vibrant and authentic dining experience. I had the vaca frita--crispy yet tender with a smoky depth--paired with rich black beans, perfectly textured rice, and crispy yuca fries with a bright cilantro sauce. The bar is a highlight. Service is top notch, offering an impressive rum selection and a fun flight option. I requested a double caipirinha, which was full of flavor and made with love. After making my somewhat laborious drink without a wince, Alyssa gracefully shared insights that deepened my appreciation for the food on the menu. The bar experience was refreshingly engaging, and watching her hustle to share a menu she loves was a pleasure. After a perfect meal, a Cafecita, made with local Decibel coffee and some sugar, was a delicious send off. With a welcoming, bilingual atmosphere that takes care with their offerings, Mojo Cuban is perfect for any event from family brunch to an adventurous night out."
"Manuel's Mexican Restaurant is very clean, very cute, and very nice with a super friendly service. I like all the decorations on the wall. The wooden tables and chairs are beautiful. There's a gorgeous high ceiling skylight at the center of the restaurant. Food are freshly served, delicious, with generous portions and affordable. This is the locals' favorite place and I'm excited to recommend it to you!"
"Oh Ghini's! One of the best kept secrets in Tucson for years now.Just incredible food every single time. Croques to die for!You will have to wait especially if you go for brunch on Sunday at least 30 minutes. A small price to pay."
"What absolutely delicious gem of a restaurant! We stopped in for lunch today and got the quesabirria tacos and the chilaquiles with green sauce and carne asada. We shared, and both dishes were fantastic! The sauce on the chilaquiles was very rich and flavorful, standing up well against the eggs and carne asada. The quesabirria tacos were really excellent too -- and I say that as someone who's gotten quesabirria tacos at easily two dozen different restaurants in Tucson. The tortillas were really strong, and had crisped up nicely along the edges. The birria and consommé were both packed with flavor! I savored absolutely every bite. I was also impressed by the beans; I'm usually not a fan of refried beans in general, but these were really well-cooked and well-seasoned. I finished every bit! We sat outside, but I will also say I really liked the decor inside. The colorful paintings on the walls and bright blue and white tiles make for a really charmingly happy vibe!"
"The surprise wheel chose this place for us. Nice little breakfast, brunch, lunch and bakery place. Noticed lots of baked goods being picked up while eating breakfast. They have a nice outside seating area, but it was wet and chilly the day we were there. I had the huevos rancheros. It was delicious. My wife chose the chorizo, potatoes and eggs. She enjoyed them as well. I was surprised at her choice. She rarely has that meal. Nothing was left of either meal. Small area inside. You order at the register and your food is delivered to you. If I find myself in this part of town for breakfast, I'd surely try it again. Oh, and they have some good smelling coffees. I did not try any as I had my share of caffeine already."
"Seafood with a kick.Service and ambience:This is clean and nicely decorated restaurant in a heart of Tucson. We received five star service from all the staff members. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We were the last guests before closing time, yet we were not rushed and received all the attention we needed.Food and drinks:The food was one of the tastiest Mexican style seafoods we have tried so far! Great combination of flavours and fresh ingredients. The seasoning was the hero. Great balance of spices and citrus notes. You must try their ceviche and hot molcajete! Simply delicious. As for the drinks, they offer set cocktails menu but you can opt for a beer too.Pricing:As usual, seafood prices are on a higher end, however, the quality of dishes at this restaurant justifies the price tags."
"One of my favorite local QC spots. Amazing paninis and such a good Caesar dressing. Everything on the menu is good. The patio is so nice when the weather's good."
"Great food.Service is very good!Ambiance is good, close small indoors seating but nice, great outdoor dining! The future of parking is questionable with apartments opening across the street.I always enjoy!!!!"
"Outstanding. Everything we ordered was super flavorful, with nice presentation. Combine that with attentive staff and quick but not rushed service, overall I would highly recommend."
"Stopped in for coffee. Counter service. Super friendly guy. Delicious coffee, reasonably priced. They must sell sandwiches or something here, because it smelled amazing in there... not coffee, it was garlic or something. I'm sure their food is really good too. Comfortable seating. Glad we stopped."
"We love this place. Sophia K is our favorite server, she always takes great care of us and is very friendly and helpful. This is our favorite place for breakfast, I just wish they would bring back the pasta breakfast dishes."
"Just an average Mom/Pop Cafe.Seems like a neighborhood joint.Decent enough breakfast."
"Great food great service and wide variety. Never a long wait. Quaint atmosphere. A little out of the beaten path."
"We went to dinner last n 2/17 for our anniversary. The view was incredible, the service was super attentive. We really enjoyed the pianist. As for the food, the prosciutto wrapped scallops were so flavorful and tender! Hubby loved the lamb shank and I was blown away by their beef Wellington. Just a fantastic experience overall."
"Pretty good, I went some time ago and forgot to write my review. The service felt pretty rushed and slow but still the server was kind. I understand it was probably the end of someone's shift. The food was expensive but good. You pay for quality ingredients. We had the Thai noodle peanut bowl with egg which I think would have been better with chicken. The happy hour spiced nuts were very good. The butternut squash soup was VERY sweet if that's your thing. Heavy on the brown sugar or maple syrup maybe. Very good but sweet, I like it a little less sweet. I would suggest trying it though when its back in season. The seasonal butternut squash salad was interesting and the horseradish sauce was not my favorite. I really love the concept of True Food. I want to go back and try the sourdough pizza next time. The patio and nice and a good vibe for friends or a casual happy hour lunch. I would recommend going with friends but it's not really a place I would rate as a top Tucson restaurant. It's a chain. It does have lots of options which are good for larger groups or picky eaters. Try it out! I want to give it another shot."
"A truly neighborhood place. Great for breakfast. They also serve lunch but I've never been. I love the French toast with some fresh fruit. Yummy! The waitresses are extremely busy but very nice. The ambience is simple. It's not a large dining room so it's designed to hold as many guests as possible, but it has a great energy!I wouldn't suggest to drive from across town, but if you're relatively close, give it a try. Doubt you'll be disappointed! Might even see you there!"
"The food here is incredible! The service impeccable! Highly recommended. The staff is Johnny on the spot. Try their Chile Relleno with beans. Or their Chicken Fried steak! Super delicious ."
"El Sol is a vibrant gem that transports you straight to the heart of Mexico. The beautiful murals outside and authentic Latin paintings inside create a welcoming and lively atmosphere. The Saltillo tile flooring and bakery vibes make you feel like you've stepped off the street and into a charming Mexican bakery. When it comes to food, El Sol truly shines. The chips are made from scratch and are nothing short of amazing, perfectly complemented by salsa that might just be the best in Arizona. The carne asada here is a bit unique compared to other places but is absolutely perfecto. It's no wonder I find myself eating here two or three times a week. The option to order a burrito in a bowl without the tortilla and add an egg for a protein boost is a thoughtful touch that caters to various dietary preferences. The service at El Sol is as warm and inviting as the food. Being family-run, the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff make you feel like you're dining at a friend's house. They ensure you're well taken care of and add to the overall wonderful experience.El Sol is a delightful escape with its beautiful ambiance, exceptional food, and welcoming service. For its authenticity, flavor, and heartfelt hospitality, I'd give it a glowing 5 stars. It's a place you'll want to return to again and again."
