"We visited El Coronado to celebrate my grandpa's 94th birthday, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The service was fantastic--our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive, especially after learning it was my grandpa's special day. Her warmth truly made the evening feel more personal and enjoyable.The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, and while the restaurant wasn't very busy, the wait time for our food was noticeably long. With a party of 11, I understand it can be challenging, but the food came out very sporadically. Some of us had finished eating before others even received their plates, which was disappointing.As for the food, most of it was tasty, but the shrimp enchiladas were lacking sauce and cheese on the inside, which was unexpected. Despite these hiccups, I'd still consider giving El Coronado another try, especially with a smaller group.If I find myself back in town (we drove in from Phoenix), I'd stop by again."

"We came by on a Saturday afternoon around 5-6pm. It was quite busy. Its a relatively small indoor dining area with about 10 tables. They have a separate, outdoor dining area but today was exceptionally chilly. I'm a snob for authentic Jamaica. I loved their Jamaica, do not pass it up. My fav so far would have to be the carne asada baked potatoe. You select your toppings at the salad/salsa bar. They even offer adult beverages with 3 beers on tap and Mexican bottled beers. We ordered the arrachera steak To-Go. It included 1 Chile relleno, side of refried beans, and tortillas. For the price, I wish they threw in a 2nd piece of the steak. I would like to return to try the mula and the tinga. Minus 1 star for no toilet paper in 1 of the 2 stalls of the ladies' restroom."

"My sister and I were at the dispensary and I had a spectacular salad here a month ago. Omg! La gourmet is my new favorite salad. Capers, almonds, pecans, artichokes hearts, roasted red peppers, sun dried tomatoes, 3 Kalamata olives, feta, on baby greens, a vinegaette. Just scrumptious. So delicious!I've been back for this salad twice! I love it. Last time I missed sun dried tomatoes. I would love to ask for extra greens next time. So yummy."

The staff were really friendly, the atmosphere was fun, the pop tart was delicious and the patio was perfect for two young boys and their monster trucks. I loved that the table tops aren't metal so when it gets hotter you're not having to deal with a burning metal table. We bought a shirt and a sticker, and are excited for a new small business to support that's so rad."

"Finally made it around to Casa Marana with some friends and it's honestly such a nice vibe! They do a great job decorating for the holidays and it was pleasant to see a lot of seating for groups, but also a lot of space to play their games. Speaking of games, they've got some really fun ones: beer pong, ping pong, darts, miniature shuffleboard, pool, and a bunch of board games! I think the best thing is that you can bring in food to eat while you drink and be merry!"

"I popped in here because it happens to be super close to my house, so I had no expectations. I think the vibe is charming. I love the video games at the tables, not because I have any experience or interest in video games myself but because it's a great idea and implies a certain nerd clientele that I feel at home in. I started going to trivia with a friend for a couple months and had a nice time.I'm gluten-free, but I was pleased to find that there are plenty of cider options, both on tap and in the fridge. I like that there is an eatery in the same building, and I love their Italian salad. I keep meaning to try the gluten-free pizza crust, but the salad is too good.The thing that keeps me from going there more often, particularly during high traffic times, is the lack of mask policy, or even a mask recommendation. I'm especially unnerved by the fact that none of the bartenders I've met wear masks, and that's a highly communicative position that I'd be most worried about, both for their sake and mine.The other thing that makes me a bit nuts is that I don't think their menu pricing and their final bills align. I mean, check out that "itemized receipt.""

"We came here Friday night just before Halloween around 7:00 pm. I already had heard about this bar being a mortuary back in the day. We walked inside and it's dark, you see tables with original pews I assume and a candle on each table with flowers in vases rotted years ago. Customers were dressed up goth having a ghouling time. It was everything I imagined it would be. Staff was friendly and my drink was strong. When we left a couple hours later the place was packed. Really cool bar not just in downtown but in general, come on a mortuary bar. Gotta love it!"

He was friendly, attentive, and really knew his cocktails. "This was my first time visiting a Los Betos. I know they use to be something else and I probably visited. But, still my first for Los Betos. Ordered two fish tacos and two shrimp tacos figuring this would be a light lunch for me and my wife. Boy was I wrong! The tacos were high! Full of flavor and both fish and shrimp. Both green and red sauce served on the side. As with keeping with the times, one server and one cook/chef. Went the drive thru way. The server was very nice and we spent some time talking while the food was prepared. Got them home and the wife said, I thought you said a light lunch! Excellent value for the money. Wish I had gone here before. I will be returning. Great service and great food. This was the one on Golf Links near Kolb. Great place."

"I had had their beer a few times in Tucson, so when on a trip to Las Cruces and I needed a lunch spot, I was reminded of them through the EPA's map of EV charging.I had the chicken fried steak which came with a salad, sliced of bread, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Everything was delicious, and it was very reasonably priced. I feel like they could get away with charging a lot more.Beers were good. I had already tasted the pilsner several times, so had an IPA, a milk stout, the black lager, and the hefeweizen. The black lager was probably my favorite, but I like that style.I'll be back!"

"We stumbled upon Public Taphouse after a write up in Tucson Foodie and could not wait to give it a shot. First off, they certainly specialize in wine at this location more than they do beer. They had a small selection of craft beer in their fridge and two that were on tap (In addition to a hard seltzer). While initially worried, I had no problem finding a beer to enjoy. While the selection was limited, it was very well thought out and I found a new hazy IPA to enjoy. While we did not try any on this visit, they did have a large selection of wines and I would be that they would meet your "vino" expecations.What a cool place! The quant and intimate atmosphere was definitely the highlight. The room is no bigger than a living room and that provided a chance for the bar tender to mingle and get to know the patrons. Personally, it was a refreshing look when compared to other bars around town.Go here because you want a "different" experience. If you are looking for walls of beer and taps, TV's on the wall, or food trucks... this isn't the spot (although there is always a time and place for that!). What they lack in volume & selection they make up for in thought & care. I'll be back for sure."

"What makes Sonora Moonshine special to me is that after my first visit, I couldn't stop thinking about when I'd return. Very good, relatively upscale Mexican food. And better cocktails than most of downtown, all in one place! What I loved: Brilliant seafood options, but also some heartier dishes. The octopus and shrimp in salsa verde was outstanding, but the aguachile en salsa negra stole the show with its refreshing tartness. Their rendition of queso fundido is so rich, topped off with a generous heaping of juicy birria. They also serve one of the best pork belly dishes I've ever had! What I liked: Service is friendly and attentive, and the expansive patio is romantic to me. Cocktails are phenomenal and express a certain authenticity. Their take on the negroni, with an extra burst of floral flavors. Their take on a spicy margarita was perfection. I'll be back to try more, and I'll be back to visit their speakeasy, Prohibicion. You can't miss out--this is better than most of its peers across Arizona!"

My fave was something that reminded me of chermoula and the other salsa of note was the blueberry kimchi concoction which tasted more like something I could drizzle over some vanilla ice cream. I ordered 2 tacos, the grilled shrimp and the cauliflower with curry sauce. I appreciated the option of having a cabbage wrap instead of a tortilla. The grilled shrimp was delicious and the cauliflower was fine but way off the taco path more so eating it off of a cabbage leaf. It was good though. For my beverage I had a unique iced tea, berry and prickly pear? Super refreshing.*Ambiance - cool-casual vibe, not intimate, low-key lively, conversational art*Service - Hostess service was fine, prompt. Our server was ok. Our service was interrupted by an "incident in the back". That's fine but we didn't know so we asked another server to let our server know that we ready. Boy, I didn't know that the blatant eye roll was still a thing and that this dude couldn't be bothered to simply reply "sure thing", "yes, of course", or "yes, I will let them know". Before that happened, we were having a conversation about the decline of good service and that no matter how fabulous the food was, if the service came with entitled attitude, it wasn't worth going back.*Edit - Restrooms - Hubby said one was gross and clogged so my friend used the other that didn't have paper towels or soap. She ended up using the lime slice from my tequila shot to somewhat wash her hands. You gotta stay on top of that cuz that can be an experience killer. The service was excellent and the attentive bartender even checked on us as we were sitting and chatting. They have a large selection of drafts as well as can choices including cider. The wine selection is also well thought out including some bottles from local vineyards. What I love most about The Broadway is it's casual, welcoming, hip vibe truly encapsulating the funky area of Tucson, the mid-century modern design epicenter of days gone by! There bathrooms were clean and they also have a nice seating area indoors and outdoor patio area.The service was fast and efficient.It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. The parking is easy and plentiful. I'm sure the place can be very busy and parking might be a hassle. That just means it's good. I went twice for a late lunch and it wasn't that crowded but I'm sure during regular times it would be. I enjoyed their Carne asada tacos and tacos Al pastor pollo asada both times. The chips and guacamole and salsa bar we're all good."
