It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. Having said that the service was fast and efficient . It's also about being realistic about the food. It serves Indian food,( including vegetarian choices.) naan, chicken Tiki Masala,lamb, goat, and vegetarian dishes.Classic Tandoori Chicken, curry chicken mandaras. The staff were monitoring the food in the line constantly while I was there even though it was two o'clock.It's still It's a great place with lots of choices good food, wonderful staff and a nice atmosphere. It would be a great place to take people who have never experienced indian food before to go to a buffet and have plenty of choices. It definitely can accommodate larger groups."

"This is an attractive restaurant with a modern feel. We arrived for an early dinner on a Monday and the place was nearly empty. Our food arrived quickly and was quite typical and ordinary as far as Indian food in most of the US is concerned. The Lamb Rogan Josh and Lentil dish we ordered were fine. Not great but as you would expect. The interesting stand out was the plain Naan bread which was truly excellent. Too bad it arrived about five minutes before our mains as this gave the bread a chance to get a bit stiff before we could enjoy it with the meal. In short, this is a decent restaurant but did not stand out from the many Indian restaurants we have tried around the US.w"

"I tried to check in after I got home but Yelp wouldn't let me. We went here after a hike at Saguaro national park and had a delicious lunch with friends. The food was delicious and the beer selection was very nice. The restaurant itself was very nice and clean. Bathrooms are single use multi gender style but also very clean. The inside of the restaurant although nice was very echo type and seemed loud. Our waitress was amazing and kept our drinks rolling and updated us on the food as it was getting prepared! Great customer service!"

"On a visit to Tombstone, my boyfriend and I stopped by Big Nose Kate's Saloon our first night in town. It was one of the places that popped up most frequently during our research for Tombstone. When we walked in, it was a large saloon with lots of photos, signs to read, and lights all around. It was really cool! We asked for a table and were seated right away.We each ordered some food and got some whiskey that was supposedly the go-to of Doc Holiday. The ambiance of the saloon alone was a lot of fun to experience while we sipped on our drinks and waited for the food. After a few minutes, everything came out. The menu is akin to a classic American diner. It was yummy and did the job after a long drive!We actually enjoyed our first time enough that we returned the next day for lunch. One of the guys at the saloon actually recognized us from the day before and greeted us very warmly. This time my boyfriend and I got to sit on the stage area which was nice to overlook the rest of the saloon. We had some food and drinks which hit the spot as before! Near the end, we asked if someone could take some photos of us by the piano. We ended up having a whole photo shoot with costumes and props! It was a lot of fun. Overall, I had a really good time at Big Kate's. The food wasn't life changing per se by the drinks, ambiance, and kind people made it an invaluable experience. Would definitely come back!"

There were a few TVs out there too with the games on. I had the Baja bowl and was impressed with the portion size. I couldn't eat it all and I left stuffed. They did not skimp on the chicken which I really appreciated. The chicken could've used a tad more seasoning and was on the verge of being dry but overall I really enjoyed my meal. The cilantro and pink onions really made the dish. Service was a little slow but we weren't in a rush and enjoyed the ambiance."

Also we had stated on the reservation it was my daughter's birthday and were asked when we were seated if we were celebrating an occasion and we again said it was her birthday. At previous celebrations there was a free dessert for the birthday person but not tonight - just the bill - so not sure if that's changed."

I was kinda disappointed with the fish. It wasn't bad, just sort of plain with not much flavor. I should have gotten the chicken. I finished up with a cup of Joe and the brownie brownie dessert without ice cream, drizzled with chocolate sauce.....soooo good. Maybe next time I will try the ribs."

"This place is truly one of a kind. And it's Important to know what to expect before you go: writing all over the walls, like everywhere! License plates from across the country strung up on the ceiling. A casual and regulars heavy type of vibe. A gravel parking lot. An outdoor grill. Indoor and outdoor seating with live music offered in both settings. Delicious food, that's priced on the slightly higher end, in my opinion, but worth it. The first time I came here, we had a terrible experience. After ordering our food, the server came back and said they were all out of sirloins, which is what everyone in our party ordered. We left without eating anything and didn't return for about 5 or 6 years. We recently moved really close and decided to give it another shot as it always seems crowded. We've been a few times now and they've definitely made up for our initial bad impression. I typically go with the sirloin and it's been seasoned and cooked perfectly. It comes with a simple house salad and unlimited beans, garlic toast, and salsa. All is so yummy! Service has been friendly and accommodating. I know we will be back!"

"My first visit to this spot.. I found parking on 4th Avenue and picked the closest place to grab a bite. It was about 6pm so the bar was not packed or busy with the younger crowd from UofA but they were getting ready for a comedy show later in the evening.I grabbed a seat at the bar .. the space is dark and goth .. black leather bar stools & a fully stocked bar. Plenty of seating and a stage in a side room for shows.I opted for the Prickly Heat cocktail .. the bartender said it was hot .. it was spicy hot .. jalapeño & habanero hot with prickly pear sweetness and a tajin rim... so good and the prettiest shade of pink. From the food menu of tacos, burgers, appetizers I decided on the Royale burger & a side of tots. It came out quickly and wow it was juicy, flavorful and served on a buttery bun. Great burger!!! The tots were great too, not greasy at all, they were served with ranch and ketchup. Unfortunately I had to drive back to Phoenix and hate driving through the dark desert so I didn't stay for another cocktail or the comedy show but I will definitely be back."

Yes, the refried beans were that good. I go to a restaurant for the FOOD, but this place has very nice servers and comfortable decor. Friend got a chicken salad(!) that she said was much larger than it looked and filled with chicken and avocado. Sister got the chile relleno/cheese enchilada plate. We found the enchilada sauce a bit smokier than we're used to. Margarita pie for dessert."

Everything was clean and bright and welcoming.I came in and immediately asked for help because I had forgotten my nephew is vegan when I chose the restaurant. There were several servers at the hostess stand, brightly decorated in St. Patrick's Day accessories. They immediately started to look through the menu to try to help me find things that he could eat, and although there is not a vegan menu, per se, and no dishes that are specifically vegan, not only did we find plenty that he could eat, but the chef also offered several suggestions for what he could make for my nephew off- menu. This alone endears this restaurant to me! But all of the staff were helpful, friendly, and present, without being intrusive.I liked everything. The chips were colorful and good, the salsa was also good. The soft corn tortillas were absolutely delicious. I don't know if they make their own but I can't imagine that anything frozen would taste that good. I had Chili Rellenos, and it was amazing. Great consistency, beautiful presentation, and the chili sauce was the best I've had in a very long time. The rice was fluffy, flavorful, and not greasy. The beans were a really nice consistency and flavor, again not too oily and nothing unnecessary added. Nothing was too salty. In short, my meal was delicious.My sister had a sandwich. She was very happy with, which came accompanied by some fabulous fries. I had a couple, I'm partial to fries, dusted in cornmeal, so I was happy. My nephew had a delicious salad, and the chef added some avocado for him. We also got a side of guacamole for him , he was extremely happy with his meal.In short, I will definitely be back to this place. Great service, great food, accommodating, chef, beautiful atmosphere. Bravo!"
