Just completed a near perfect end of ten arrows, 299 out of a possible 300. Was so dang close to me second 300!
After a few Saturday lessons and shooting during lunch, I've learned a ton from all the guys and gals from Bull Basin!
Time to start competing I think!

I wanted to try my hand at an archery hunt with my HAM javelina tag, as opposed to using my firearms. I'm not sure what made me pick Bull Basin as I live almost 90 minutes away, but I had a good feeling. I called ahead to see if they had the bow I'd been shooting at a friend's (and had my heart set on) in stock only to find out they no longer carried the brand. I let the gentleman on the phone know that I was interested in buying my 1st bow and if he could work with me to pick something out, then I'd gladly make the long drive. He assured me I'd be in good hands. I got there, mentioned that I called ahead, etc. The young man I spoke to, Antonio, immediately got me started on trying out a bow he thought I'd be interested in (they have an indoor range) Fast forward to over an hour later and I've made up my mind, and he's working with me/dialing it in/sighting it in to me and I couldn't be happier or more excited. I left with a new bow, arrows cut for me, a release, etc. Great experience! I've made the long drive back to them a couple of times since; for broadheads and a repair job. even though I have plenty of shops closer. (They even saved me by doing me a HUGE favor when I forgot my trailer keys at home)They took great care of me each time and I will always return to spend my dollars here; as I do with any place that takes good care of me (shout out to Healy Arms in Tempe, forever my lgs even though I live crazy far)It was tag soup for javelina, but I didn't want to go home empty handed on day 4 so I did manage to take a nice Jack rabbit with my new bow (awesome shot if I may say so myself) :-)Thanks Antonio, Jesse, and Rich for all your help. You guys are awesome.I'll be back in a few weeks for more arrows, etc!

I still can't believe this place is in business! I still haven't forgotten how they sold my brand new Botech bow with new sights to someone else when I was deployed. They never tried to make it right. They did not give a crap that they sold it. I will keep telling everyone who will hear me that they have the worst customer service. I will continue to inform the public to not use this place they will sell your brand new out of the box items to other people with no remorse, and will not offer you a new comparable item. They will blame you for not picking it up on time. Even if you explain to them that you were deployed to the Middle East serving your country and that's why you didn't pick up your new bow you left with them.

Stopped in here the other day because their business webpage clearly states they will meet or beat anybody's price on the optics (see attached photo) I went in to look at some binoculars and when I asked the staff about price matching, they told me in no uncertain terms they absolutely do not price match on optics. So I made a trip across town for nothing and I'm definitely disappointed in either the false advertising or the staff who don't know what they're talking about. They missed out on a $1000 sale and my future business.

I just hit my 1 year anniversary with Bull Basin archery and never thought twice about where to start my journey in shooting.I love lessons from Stretch and Meaghan (instructors) and now it's mostly keeping form and practicing. I'm ready for competing thanks to everyone here and can't wait to represent.I've uploaded some pice of my groupings and my average score per end is now 29.93 over 500 arrows!I now shoot a PSE Phenom, much to the chagrin of Stretch... It's deadly accurate.Woot to Bull Basin Archery!

So after after three years i decided to try my luck with this place after my last and worst of three reviews vanished. I called in and asked if they had a range to shoot in (i already knew they did) but they dont know who i am on the phone : ) They tell me of course! How does that work i ask as far as payment and such? After some light friendly talk i drop the bomb. Can i use my crossbow at your range? He says oh yes any time. Then i said "but i saw a bad review that said one could not use crossbows at your establishment (sad face) lol. Oh no, thats not true sir. So next day i walk in without my bow and ask if the range was open for use and i get a nod and go back to to the car for my things. For a min i thought "this is it, i can now shoot some place close to home" but i ill be damned, because once i walked back in with my crossbow he stood up and shakes his head. No no no im sorry but we dont allow crossbows in our range. Why not i ask. he says because that are not safe or responsible. If somebody got hurt it would be on us. So in short i was lied to once more. Next time im going to record the person telling me it's ok to practice with my crossbow at the "bull crap basin" so i can reply it right in the store for them to hear.

I was brought here for my bachelorette party a few years ago and it was such a great experience! Our instructor was so friendly and kind. I knew that when I was ready to buy a bow, I'd be back! Well, today was that day. I walked in, and not one person greeted me. A couple guys hung out behind the counter talking to customers and each other as I wandered around in the back corner. After 10 minutes I gave up. Feels to me that this may be a place you need to walk into with man to get service. There are a couple other places in town I'm going to check out but I'm bummed that this place was such a let down.

SO FUN!$25 for rental/person (for the day? They didn't really seem to be keeping track of time). It came with a bow, 5 arrows, and some targets. The staff was very knowledgable and helpful. We got a mini archery lesson before we started too! The front is the shop where there are all different types of bows, arrows, targets, parts which can be bought. The back has 2 sectioned off lanes where the targets can be moved to different distances. Overall, this was a really fun experience and I would definitely come again.

All I can say is, "WOW!" I've driven by this place a hundred times and thought about stopping by, but never did. Today, I needed a little help with my bow and some arrows worked on. The two gentlemen whom helped me were great, genuinely concerned with helping me out and did so in a timely manner. Don't go to Sportsman's Warehouse. They might have the gear but their customer service stinks. Even though I must drive from Marana, I'll be going to Bull Basin for all my archery needs. Joe

Service is horrible. Called the other day to ask what they charge to put a new string and cables on my bow. No answer mid day... sent a message on Facebook asking the same..... no answer, even after they looked at my question. Resent another message a couple days later with the same result. I'll be going somewhere else.
