Bubbe's Fine Bagels

Great little bagel shop. We've been told these are the best bagels in Tucson and we can't complain. We haven't tried many other bagels around town, but the bagels and schmears are good. We haven't had anything more extensive on the menu, but honestly, who needs more than that? Good to know before you go: this is a small shop with a counter for ordering and no inside seating. There are some concrete planters outside a few small cafe tables and chairs. Seems to be mostly a to-go place. Worth it.

The bagels are amazing. They have a slight sour dough taste to them. They are always extremely fresh. They use the best cc to bagel ratio too! I haven't ever had a sandwich from here but I did try the lox and salmon bagel, highly recommend. The service is usually fast but they're never very friendly but I usually just stop in and order Togo so it doesn't really bother me. I can't stop thinking about their monthly special dill pickle cream cheese wish that would come back!

Tasty bagel options with many delicious shmear options, too, and coffee! We tried the cinnamon sugar bagel with honey lavender shmear, and the sesame with garlic chive shmear. Lavender was strong but tasty!

We ordered bagel & lox platter as well as whitefish salad, egg salad, coffee jugs - bagels were great as well as everything else we had. The whole process was easy - from ordering to pick up; customer service was excellent.

This bagel spot was great, quick kind service and delicious food. The bagels were nice and chewy and the cream cheese was tangy and smooth (& with ample portions of cream cheese!)We got a cinnamon raisin bagel and a poppy seed one to try. The flavor of the cinnamon one was more mild than I usually like, but overall still good!

Fantastic! Great bagles, great service! We will be back! The orange juice is also amazing!

How can you not love Bubbe's? Get there early to get a good selection. Amazing bagels and bagel sandwiches. Good cream cheese choices. Just overall awesome. We always get our bagels here!

Love the jalapeño cheddar bagel! I got the ham and cheese on the jalapeño bagel and it was delicious! It was enough for lunch and I felt satisfied. The food is great but customer service was not. Maybe it was an off day but I felt very unwelcomed. The guy who did ring me up in the end was friendly, but the gals who I ordered with were unfriendly :( The bagels are worth giving it another try though

Everytime I go to this place there is a line. I always consider that a good sign. Mind you it isn't a big place as there aren't any inside sit down options, just a cute and bright lobby. If you take a minute to look around you will see the bagels being steamed and they, a rack with coffee mugs and recipe books, and a plaque that says voted best bagel in Tucson awarded in November 2022. I've been here a few times and it has always been a great experience. I've only ever gotten the everything bagel but they have several bagel and schmear options and a seasoning option as well. For December it was chocolate chip bagels and cannoli schmear which sounds great if you have a sweet tooth, but I'm a savory person.The bagel can be made toasted as an option and this place doesn't skimp on the smear like a lot of other bagel shops in town. In fact, you are guaranteed to get the schmear on your hands as it oozes out the edges of the bagel when you bite into it. I've tried both the garden schmear and the Calabrian pepper and both were good. The bagel itself can be described as dense, soft but still light and fluffy. The seasoning on the everything bagel is spot on. Having said all this, I still reminisce about my adventures in NYC and having their bagels and cream cheese which, so far, has been untouchable despite the many places I've had bagels in the USA. Must be the water, right? However, Bubbe's iis the next best thing when you are in Tucson. They do serve bagel sandwiches and I'm thinking of trying the Rueben bagel next time. They also serve coffee which I've never tried but I like their creamer options especially their alternative choices like oatmilk. This is a place I can happily recommend.

Excellent bagels (about $18 for a "baker's dozen").In house sandwiches made with their bagels(like their Reuben) are fabulous!Best to go mid-morning while all varieties arestill available. Interesting smears available also.Ambience is good and the service great.Check them out!
