Carlos and the team is phenomenal! They go above and beyond my customer service expectations! You immediately get greeted by the team and feel welcomed which is amazing. The team is very friendly and knowledgeable. I love bringing my vehicle here because I know they do great and honest work.

The guys at Brakemax were excellent. I was in and out in timely manner, the technicians were all courteous and very knowledgeable about my car. The manager, Hector, took great care of me and was very informative on the problems I was experiencing. I didn't feel talked down to which is a great feeling, and they broke down the problems I was experiencing on a scale of importance though recommending everyone. The manager was easy to talk and friendly towards all the other patrons. I recommend bringing your car here for all your needs, no matter how little. Thank you Hector!

Scott Is amazing. I had trouble with my insurance company and He got on the case and got everything taken care of. When it came time to get my Windshield done he sent Jose to do the job. Jose is the Ultimate Professional with many years on the job and you can tell the skill he has in his hands in minutes. When the job was done he made sure ALL of safety equipment worked. I couldnt be happier. Thanks for the great work!

Last week I encountered the absolute best auto/truck service that I've every experienced in my 73 years on this planet. Hector and his crew of dedicated professionals managed to keep my anxiety in check while they worked through a very vexing brake issue on my 1997 Dodge Ram Commuter Van. The mechanic that I used in the S.F. Bay area did a very shoddy job, I was scheduled to return and wanted the situation corrected for my safe passage.They bent over backwards trying to find a solution to a very complex problem and finally succeeded providing for our safe journey home. These guys are simply the best.

Amazing Customer Service in a time of need! I had some issues with my 2014 Chevy Cruze; it had broke down a few blocks down and I wasn't sure what I could do from there. I was able to give BrakeMax a call to see if I could at least have it towed to their location to keep my vehicle in a safe place. Hector was able to negotiate with me a reasonable pay schedule that was convenient given my circumstances and he was also able to offer having my vehicle diagnosed so I can wrap my head around what the issue could be with my Vehicle. They were able to give me an accurate diagnosis of the situation the very next day for a very fair price and now I'm steered in the correct direction for keeping my car maintained. I will be doing further business with BrakeMax in the future. Highly recommended if you're in a pinch and need some car help!

Crooks tried to charge my lady friend $6000 for a center carrier bearing that's normally well under $800 plus they did charge her $438 for a new battery and when I threatened to call the cops and press fraud charges they reduced it to $209 proving they're criminals that gouge the public and belong in prison.

This use to be a great location. Not so much. I've been unhappy with them for several appts. I keep trying to give them a chance as they use to be good. Employee retention (front desk) not stable- I like to make a relationship with my service person. Often I show up with an appt and told that we only have 2 mechanics- xyz all called in (yes this has happened 3x in the last year; I've been lied to- don't get me started; belittled because I am female and don't know anything (however knew more than the front desk person....); and today a simple oil change told 90 mins with an appt because not enough employees but they take appts seriously..... at 75 mins- my car hasn't moved an inch and i asked for my keys back and they reminded that they are real mechanics not just oil and lube and my car was just pulled in- I told them it was not- unless it just happened in the last 39 seconds , and then they said my car will be next the mechanic was just finishing up on X car and had x to do on tires; so let me get this straight you tell me 90 mins and you don't even start work on it until the 90 mins... no one came to talk to me say at the 45 min mark to say hey sorry we are behind - we r not gonna make it- is that okay. Drove to another shop as a walk in and they already are working on my car ( 15 mins after I left your shop) . No it's not just an oil and lube shop- thank you very much.

Brake Max on Thornydale and orange Grove. Damn Tony, my daughters car overheated after repairs. She was crying. Thank you for loaning her your personal car so she could make it to her first day of her new job! That was amazing!! Thank you Tony!

The service at the Thornydale site is impeccable. I have had a great experience with this shop and hope this helps people decide on a car repair facility like this.

Gave them a call in the afternoon and they were able to get someone to come straight to my house to do a chip repair next morning!Scott Faulkner who is the director of this business came out himself to give service. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything I needed to know clearly. He worked quickly and even gave my whole windshield a nice clean - it's sparkling now!I included a picture, but you can barely see any sign of repair in it! I circled it for anyone trying to find it.I couldn't recommend this business more, plus the price was right as they were cheaper than Safelight was offering (though I'd rather give my money to a smaller local place anyway!).Thanks for coming out! I know who to call if ever my windshield needs service again!
