Borst Automotive

We were in need of a routine servicing after moving to Tucson four months ago. Then an engine warning light came on and it was time to go. Borst is located nearby and a family member gave them a great recommendation. We were scheduled and it was a great experience. The staff was efficient and friendly. Everything was taken care of and some additional maintenance was suggested for later. We will definitely continue using Borst in the future.

I used to go to AAA but I just found my new car shop with Borst. They are very communicative, quick, and friendly. My last repair at AAA took two week and they still couldn't find what was wrong with the start/stop function. Borst found the problem in one day and it only took them 1 more day to fix it. The whole time they were texting and emailing me reports on their progress. I also like that when I go in for quick repairs they have a waiting room upstairs that offers free coffee, tea, cocoa, and cold sodas. They also offer discounts if you are costco member. They are great and I will be using them going forward.

They were friendly and give you an out-the-door price. No surprises. They take photos and send them to you to show you exactly what they are looking at. No work is done before your approval.Did it come to more than their original price? Yep.They replaced the harmonic balancer (crankshaft pulley) and serpentine belt. It wasn't till then they would know the power steering pump was 'belly-up'.They topped all the fluids off and were taking the car to the carwash. The fluid all leaked out before they could even get to the corner of the building.Oh, I could have said, "Don't fix that.", but have you ever tried to drive a car when the power steering isn't working? It's much different from the older cars that had no power steering to begin with. It takes 3 men, a boy and a small dog to turn the steering wheel.In addition, it probably would have destroyed the new serpentine belt in a hurry.

Very dissatisfied with this business. My husband brought his truck in for a COMPLIMENTARY FREE OIL CHANGE that was supposed to be FREE AND LEFT paying $240.00 for a differential change which entailed only 3 quarts of FLUID and minor labor. When we called they said there was NO CHARGE FOR ANYTHING AND WE LEFT HAVING TO PAY. This to me was a huge rip off especially when he was to get 75% off of labor costs also So much for helping a senior citizen and a Vietnam Veteran ! What a SCAM, needless to say we won't be coming back to BORST AUTOMOTIVE ever again !!!!

These people are dishonest and won't take responsibility when they make mistakes, which seems to be frequently.

I brought in my vehicle for oil change, filter, etc. their diagnostic check discovered some problems of immediate concern. They gave me an itemized bill for services prior to actually doing any work on the vehicle. Their work was done in a timely fashion and provided me with transport to my home because I had to leave the vehicle. Then, when the car was ready, they sent someone to pick me up and bring me back to pick up my car. I have since used them for both my vehicles and appreciate their work and service.

I really love Borst. I've been going to the other location and I found this one. I like both locations very much. Which ever one you're closer to will be fine for you. Go here it is great. They treat the customer like their time is worth a lot. I think that you will find you are respected here.

These guys are great. They explain things thoroughly, do quality work and are a good value for the service they provide.

The team over here at Borst was incredible! I feel I have finally found the mechanic for me. They took great care of my car, and explained everything to me in a way that was clear and easy to understand. I've tried many mechanics in Tucson over the years, and would recommend Borst Automotive all the way!

I wish I had found Borst Automotive years ago for my Smart ForTwo car. I only lived a few blocks away from the Golf Links location, but I had no idea they were certified to work on foreign engines. My experience with them was top notch. From Nicole, who drove the shuttle and is a great conversationalist with a sense of humor to match...to Chris Motzkin, Service Advisor, who spent a lot of time educating me about my car and its required maintenance needs...to Thomas A., who is listed as the Technician (mechanic?) for my car, and finally to Chuck Bissi, Manager/Partner, who initiated my positive journey with Borsh. My annual servicing was completed to my great satisfaction, the price was reasonable and they honored the "specials" that were online. Shuttle service, washing the car, excellent diagnostics and servicing and amazing personnel. I now live 12 miles away...but I will return to Borsh from this day forward. Exemplary business!
