I have been to many dinners that Blue house has catered and every time it's wonderful. The ingredients are clearly fresh and Ron always make sure there are vegetarian options. And it's not an afterthought, they are well thought out for both plant and meat lovers. Their curbside takeout is also great. They have lots of yummy vegetarian options and their baked goods are surprisingly yummy!

I highly recommend Blue House and am surprised by the lack of reviews! If you want a catering company that provides incredibly delicious food, creative entrees, and flexibility in terms of your location and your budget, please reach out to the chef and owner Rob. You will NOT be disappointed. For my wedding in Oracle in April this year, Blue House Catering delivered fresh and delicious fare that went beyond expectations. For my wedding I wanted Mexican-style food that was locally sourced and original. I wanted to wow my guests with something amazing, but I also had a budget. In addition, I wanted vegetarian food that even meat eaters would love. We had delicious appetizers, the highlight being grilled shrimp on a jicama shell! So delicious and creative. For the main course there was black bean salad, green salad with jamaica dressing, chicken molé, vegetarian stuffed grilled poblanos, spanish style fish, and crepe enchiladas filled with veggies and butternut squash. Seriously the food was amazing! Guests were gushing about it and asked for Ron's info to cater their own events. My favorites were the chicken molé and crepe enchiladas.Contact Ron now!

Ron and his team hosted an event for TMC tonight at the Core for staff who had recently relocated to Tucson. It impeccable from start to finish! I was so impressed with the quality of the food and service! The presentation was beautiful, and each food was labeled so you knew what you were eating. Bowls and foods were constantly replenished, and empty plates removed from around the room! We enjoyed, tamale cakes with confetti vegetables, grilled chicken, mushroom and poblano chili quesadillas, fruit skewers with prickly pear dip, blue corn mini cups with black bean roasted tomatoes, corn relish, and avocado cream finish, grilled chili lime ;shrimp and vegetables, pistachio Mexican Wedding cookies, and hibiscus tea!! All completely fabulous, and Ron watched closely over everything the entire time ensuring that all guests were happy! I think TMC will use Ron's services for many events to come!

I recently worked with Ron and his team on an event at my home. They were wonderful from start to finish. Laura assisted me with selecting a menu and she kept after me to provide the information they needed within the necessary timeline.Ron came to the house a week in advance to get a feel for the kitchen, the area we planned to set up and serve the food, and the general flow of things. He made suggestions about fine-tuning the menu as well as adding an additional staff member to assist with parking. When he left that day I had a lot of confidence in the my choice of caterers.When the day of the event came, Ron and his team arrived with tons of containers and pans and equipment. They got to work immediately setting tables, setting up the bar, and of course, cooking. The passed appetizers were to die for! Many of our guests commented that they could have just eaten more of them and they would have been delighted. We had a terrific combination of beef filet roll ups with parsley-horseradish spread, and arugula; tamale cakes with salsa fresca, salsa verde, and chipotle cream; cilantro, lime & chile duck & brie quesadillas with orange-apricot sauce; crispy shrimp spring rolls wrapped in rice paper and served with a variety of dipping sauces; and mushroom caps with crab and Gruyere stuffing.They followed that with plated salad in bowl: mixed greens, Gorgonzola, peppered pecan & asparagus with truffle vinaigrette. Since we were seated, Justin the bartender made sure everyone had enough wine and he refreshed their water and cocktails.The main course was just as impressive. They brought risers and serving dished to create a beautiful buffet of rosemary chicken Provencal, slow roasted boneless beef short ribs with tomato and garlic, pecan-cilantro crusted sea bass with citrus beurre blanc, potato gratin with goat cheese, tomatoes, and olives, herbed wild rice, and haricot verts with almonds and terragon.The entire time they were preparing and serving the food my kitchen was clean and orderly. When the dinner was over Ron and his team packed all of the leftovers (and there were a lot even though my number of guests was accurate), washed all of the glasses and dishes, and left my house looking as good as it did when they arrived.I can't say enough positive things about Blue House catering. I will absolutely use them again and again. Ron is an amazing chef and he runs a polished business.

Over the last several year, Ron and his team at Blue House Catering have handled several events for us. Each time we are impressed by the food, professionalism and overall experience. No matter the challenges we come up with -- hot, fresh food stations for 150 people in a warehouse with turn of the century electric, no running water or kitchen -- these guys deliver.The food is delicious, the service is top notch, and they are great fun to work with.

My master's program at the UofA through CAPLA often uses the Blue House to cater our events.. food is always impeccable, with tons of vegetarian options! Food is always beautifully plated, and freshly made. They make a mean cheese/deli platter options, as well as wonderful veggie platters. I also really enjoy their chicken/mozzarella kabobs and dolmas platter!

Blue House catered my recent wedding and they did an outstanding job on short notice and under interesting conditions (an outdoor venue that they had never worked in before during torrential downpours!). The food was delicious and several guests made a point to tell me afterwards how much they enjoyed the meal. Blue House graciously accommodated my vegan guests and paved the way for a smooth event - they are professional and personable and fabulous! I chose them because I have attended several events that they have catered and have always enjoyed the food - no matter what style. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends and use them any time I have an important event that needs to go well!

Ron and Blue House have catered several dinners for a local womens' group and the food is always outstanding! Imagine trying to please 50+ women. The conditions are always different, the kitchens and venues are always different and Ron delivers. Professional, friendly and just plain OUSTANDING! Ron and his crew did a phenomenal job with my birthday party for 30-ish people at our home. He reassured us during his visit to the house several days before that we would be able to enjoy the party just like guests and he was correct -- every possible detail was managed professionally, from his exception food preparation to the cordial, polished service from the folks who served and tended bar to the cleanup afterward. They left absolutely no trace afterward, cleaning up the trash, washing the dishes, and bagging up the extensive amount of food that was left over for our later enjoyment (some leftover short rib made a fantastic vegetable beef soup for dinner last night).People are still commenting on how good the food was -- the passed appetizers were a big hit, the mains and sides were creatively prepared, and the service was spectacular, right down to the presentation and serving of the birthday cake that we had purchased elsewhere. I can't think of anything negative to say about either the food or service. Ron is a joy to work with and everything tasted like you would expect in a really good restaurant, not that bland, institutional taste you sometimes get from caterers. I was proud of seeing our home turned into what could have passed for an upscale Sunday brunch with great servers who were so good they were barely noticeable. Believe me, having really good people serving food and tending bar makes a huge difference over trying to muddle through on your own, sweating in the kitchen and leaving your guests to fend for themselves.I've worked with caterers in my work life and it's sometimes dicey -- the food doesn't taste or look as good as it sounded on paper, the service is obviously delivered by amateurs recruited for a one-off event, or you end up wishing the company cared as much about your event as you did. No such problem with Ron and Blue House. Utterly fantastic in every way. I can't wait to think up an occasion to hire them again. I know this sounds like a suspiciously gushy review, but Ron can probably figure out who left it and give me as a reference, which I would gladly do. What a great evening!

We had a wedding brunch that was catered by Ron. Everyone loved it. This year will be the 3rd wedding brunch that Blue House catering is doing for our family. We are even booking the rehearsal dinner with him. I would recommend him highly.
