Update 11/15/19Well Blue Coyote has been to our home 5 times since we started this entire process. They were just here yesterday to paint spots that were completely missed visits 1-4. Guess what? They still missed some sections and have to come back out yet again. It's pretty sad that a company can't get their crap together and get the job done right properly THE FIRST TIME!!!!Horrible experience! Communication is nonexistent, and work is sloppy. They came out 3 times to correct issues and we are still finding flaws. Didn't honor the contract and we would recommend finding someone else. Please see the pics of a few flaws. The truck hood in the pictures was already sold to someone and we asked that it be covered and protected which it wasn't. Now we can't sell it due to damage and overspray. They also took one of my husbands buckets from our backyard.

This company is terrible. I set up an appointment to get an estimate to paint my home. The guy did not show up. He called and rescheduled and again did not show up. When I called to let them know I was not interested in a quote anymore, they couldn't have cared less. Trash company.

Blue Coyote Painting is the best! We've had several poor experiences with repair people in Tucson since moving here, but this was NOT one of them. Chris and Kylie are courteous, professional, patient and timely. You can tell they love their customers and want to do right by them. Their painting crew is also super customer oriented keeping you in the loop throughout the job. They were on time and completed the job quickly and efficiently. We needed one minor touch up and they didn't hesitate to get the crew back out and complete it immediately. Fair prices and great customer service. Highly recommend!Dawn

These guys are terrific! I had two rentals that developed roof leaks were quickly with a fix the day before a rainstorm came. They came back to take care of the painting and other more routine repairs. I cannot say enough good things on their behalf.

Blue Coyote Painting did an excellent job painting the interior my home. From the initial estimate and paint colors suggestion to the finished product, Blue Coyote was extremely professional and caring in their workmanship. My wife and I highly recommend Blue Coyote Painting.

Horrible. Completed a roof coating job and had to return later to fix a bunch of cracks and other issues with the job. After a few months we now have pockets of water under the roof coating. Warranty is non existent even tho it states a warranty on website and invoice. They would will not return calls or emails.

Update 2017:I'll be blunt. Are these guys worth the extra thousands of dollars? NOIs their quality worth the extra money? NODo they do a better job than the other guys/ is their quality any better? NODo I recommend them? NO, not at this point. When I hired them before they did ok. I wanted my house painted and decided to hire them again even though they are so much more expensive. I was expecting a good job but this time around they did a pretty bad job. Here are some of the many issues:Missed several spots-- as in NO new paint at allUsed wrong colorSeems to be very poor communication between the owner and the painters, leading to many mistakesSpilled drink on my floors and left it there for days!! Didn't bother cleaning it up at all! Who does that! (The last person who did that in my house was a 2 year old. That's right a 2 year old and that's what the painters who I paid 1000s more for did too)Left for the day and left my doors unlocked!Trampled my plantsSprayed my plants floor with oversprayLeft paint splattered in my back yardPut a small hole in my wall and left it there-- didn't bother to fix it but tried to hide it thinking I wouldn't noticeNo apology from anyone about all the errors Didn't even bother telling me when to do the walk through-- they just charged me without letting me know when I should do the walk through. And other things that I don't feel like listing here. Overall a very disappointing experience. As I mentioned before these guys aren't worth the extra 1000s of dollars. They do the same quality of work (if not worse) as the other companies in town. For example: I've never had another company spill a drink on my floor and let it sit there for several days and only clean it up after I brought it up to them (and again NO apology from the painters for doing that.)The only good thing was that they came back to fix many of these mistakes, but even then, the second time around, they still missed some of the stuff they were supposed to fix.Overall just not worth the extra money unless you feel like throwing away 1000's of dollars of your hard earned money. As of right now their quality does NOT match their outrageous prices.MY TIP-- hire another reputable company in town that will do the same work for MUCH less and save yourself 1000's of dollars. I wish I had.Original review 2015:The first time I hired them, they did a decent job, showed up on time, and were pretty professional. Their color consultant was helpful with choosing the colors. Overall I was pretty satisfied with their work. The biggest negative was the cost. They are pretty expensive, which is why I didn't hire them a 2nd time when I wanted to paint again. I went with another company that did the same painting job for much less and saved me a lot of money.Overall this company seems good and I do recommend this company as long as you don't mind the much higher cost.

I was a highly satisfied customer of Blue Coyote Painting in the past, so I called them again when I needed exterior painting services this year. ... Initial crew made a good first impression (arrived timely; introduced themselves; respectful in every way; good communication skills; updated me at appropriate times such as letting me know what progress they had made and what to expect next when they were leaving for the day; seemed to care about and take pride in doing good work); however, they did less than stellar work (poor prep in areas, especially on entry wall; numerous areas on house where little to no paint was applied; paint sprayed on my awning and now that's a permanent mess). Seems that crew expected to return for touch-ups and perhaps intended they would finish the job under the guise of touch-ups? If that was the plan, then they would have been better served to set my expectations appropriately for that. Instead, I was left disappointed in the quality of the paint job. ... Instead of the initial crew, someone else was sent to do touch-ups. He turned out to be a bad character (pointed out even more issues than I had seen, spoke badly of his co-workers, then disappeared without finishing the job). One rotten apple spoils the entire bushel! ... After I asked that the bad character not return, another crew was sent to finish the job to my satisfaction. They made certain I was satisfied with their work before they left. ... Rating reduced due to bad character. Rating increased thanks to final crew and because Chris is a man of integrity who stands behind his word to make things right.

We used Blue Coyote to paint the exterior of our house. We got multiple estimates before hand and they were by far the highest. But, we felt like their quality would be far better so we went with them. Now that the job is done, we are glad we used them. The quality of the job is excellent. The workers on the job were professional, clean and quick. It was some of the little things they did which I think set them apart. Like the fact that they spray one coat and roll another. They also move all soil and rocks away for the house and paint down to the foundation and then move them all back. Plus, there's the 5 year warranty which stands out among their competition.I am only giving them 4 stars because we also needed some roof work and the estimate process and their recommendations were not that great. They suggested things that our eventual roofer said would not have been good. But, I wholeheartedly recommend them for exterior painting.

I attempted to call this morning and schedule a time to have an estimator come out to our home and bid our project. Several of your neighbors have utilized Blue Coyote and we frequently see the company advertised in our local paper, etc. I also placed an inquiry online to schedule an appointment. When I called this morning to do so and explained that my husband is a first responder and works 10-12 hour shifts Monday-Friday and I myself see patients Monday-Friday and work 10+ hours a day and that the best day for us would be a Saturday, I was told, "well we put in long hours too so you will just need to figure out what you can do about your schedule." Really...I'll make sure my husband remembers that next time he has to respond to an emergency! All of the other competitive paint contractors who have bid the project have been more than happy to come out on a Saturday and accommodate us. For those of us in the first responder community...this company is not friendly nor understanding of our schedules and the sacrifices we make. Please do not use them...especially after how rudely we were treated this morning.
