Black Market BBQ

I randomly ran into this food truck on a bike ride through Patagonia, AZ, and I count my lucky stars that I did! I ended up ordering brisket and a side of mac and cheese, and was definitely not disappointed. The brisket was practically melt-in-your-mouth and had a scrumptious bark covering it that enhanced the juicy, tender meat inside. They service was friendly and the wait time was pretty short considering the long line they had for the truck! Additionally, they've got a good set of sauces and toppings (jalepeño, pickles, etc) to enhance your meal. I'll be keeping an eye out for this truck when I'm back in Tucson!

Pretty good brisket until they slap it on cheap white bread. The most basic food at a high quality food price. Halfway through their 3 hour stop here, and they are out of mac & cheese, out of coleslaw ( how does a bbq truck run out of coleslaw ? ) About the service, 1 guy was literally doing everything except cutting the meat. Took the orders, took payment, filled the sauces, put the mac & cheese in a container for meat cutter to top off, put on all of the extras ( pickels, jalapeños & such) . Horrible. We will not even go a second timeto see if it was just off night. To much was off for me !

Today the brisket was spot on for doneness. Great food. If you see they're serving food do yourself a favor and get their food.

Vegans beware - this is NOT your place! For the rest of us, though... Black Market BBQ is the only rolling BBQ restaurant you should consider when you're looking for delicious, juicy, smoked meat in Tucson.They're often at a bunch of spots around Tucson where you will find a frosty beverage (or 3) to wash down your brisket and ribs (if you get there before they sell out). The secret on this menu is to ask for Pit Master Brooks' "loaded mac." Just ask for it by name and thank me later.This food truck has landed a spot as one of the caterers for my upcoming wedding - it's going to epic and I can't wait. What's more, they're a super dog-friendly business that'll slice off some good slabs of meat for your pup.Cooper the Pit Bull gives this place 5 stars.

Let's just start off by saying that I'm really really particular about my BBQ. My hubs (usually) does a great job with our smoker at home but I have to say, Black Market BBQ does an outstanding job!! We first "smelled" them while we were killing some time at Tucson Hop Shop on our way to dinner at Contigo. We really wished we could have cancelled dinner and just had some stuff from the food truck! Well, today upon our arrival at Tap and Bottle, we smelled that smell again around the corner! Our hearts skipped a beat, seriously!While we had already bought lunch at Time Market, we decided we could not let this opportunity go again. Two meats two sides and our tummies were content beyond our expectations. They feed you! He even threw in some of the delicious pulled pork and we are so glad he did! That pork was tender, moist and ever so tasty! Brisket was on the money! Nice smoke ring, nice crust, amazing flavor! The ribs fell off the bone and again, no shower here, amazing flavor! Bread, jalapeño, sauces and onions on the side 58 complete the meal! You won't be hungry after this! Will definitely return!

OMG this bbq is delicious! I've had them a couple times now when they have parked in front of Casa and every time I'm excited to eat more. I'm a creature of habit and tend to stick to brisket when it comes to bbq and this one is pretty close to perfect. They serve it with a couple sides of sauce, your choice of pickles, jalapenos, onions or all. I got mine with a side of mac and cheese and it was literally the perfect meal while I drank some beers with friends inside. They tend to sell out and had sold out of the ribs almost immediately that day so that says something. I rarely see them there for too long. They sweep in and set up shop then tend to the long line that accumulates for their tasty treats. Definitely a must try if you see them around town!

BBQ done right! Taste and texture is just like home made, so tender and tasty. probably better than many "home cooked BBQ.

I was drawn to this lovely smell of smoke outside our workplace. We were on a work trip to Tucson, and were blessed with not having to even leave the worksite's parking lot!I ordered the Chicken, with one side. Boyyyy that plate came with 2 huge chicken thighs! When I order chicken from every other BBQ spot, the chicken is either dry, or tastes like boiled chicken.Black Market's chicken hit on every level!SmokeyJuicyFlavorful Great pricing The beans weren't very different from what I'm used to, but I think I prefer them!I was curious, so I purchased a plate of brisket. 5 Stars as well! The cuts of brisket was 1/2" thick, and was soooo tender and flavorful! The advised the "Texas Bite" of things hehehe Slapping brisket, onions, pickles, and bbq sauce on a slice of bread. Smackin'!If you happen to run into this truck, try it! You won't be disappointed!

I am going to dream of this BBQ. Native Texan here and this is the real deal. Brisket is fall apart tender and the smashed potatoes are sooooo good. Will now be following this truck all over town.

This is REAL brisket! Recently moved here from Kansas City and this will be my go-to BBQ. Burnt ends, pulled pork, and mac n' cheese were delicious, as well. Get both sauces! Can't forget to mention...wonderful customer service and portions that are well worth the price!
